niknik002 says "You get fun mail and don't have to leave the house!" about Netflix

I've had an account with Netflix for just over a year and LOVE it. They have several different plans, which you can change at any time without any penalities, which is one of the best parts. I'm on the two-at-a-time, unlimited plan for 18 bucks a month, so I get 4 DVDs a week, making it WELL worth the money. The shipping is incredibly fast (I send a movie out on Monday morning and recieve my next one on Wednesday afternoon, which I think is perfectly reasonable) and they have a ridiculous amount of DVDs to choose from. The movies I want are always in stock; I've only had a problem once or twice, and in that case I just had to wait an extra day when my movie was shipped from a different location. As long as you're willing to wait for a couple of weeks after a big-selling new release comes out (which since I have over 100 movies on my queue it isn't a big deal) this is for you. You can keep movies as long as you want, and if you're into watching series Netflix is definetely worth......

niknik002 says "Mmm Mmm Good" about Purina One Natural Blends

My husband and I rescued a Chocolate Lab mix from the pound about a year and a half ago. They were feeding him Science Diet, and we tried that when we first got home but he rarely ate. We switched to Purina One Natural Blends (the chicken variety) about a week after we had him and he ate it up right away. He absolutely loves it, and it's good for him! Chicken is the number one ingredient, and it was the only dog food I could find with a meat as number one. I always buy it from PetSmart (the grocery stores sell it, but only in the medium size bag...he's a big dog!!) and the packages usually have a $5 coupon off of your next purchase on it, which is nice. I'll never switch dog foods!...

niknik002 says "She's my best friend!!" about TiVo - Digital Video Recorder

Awesome awesome awesome. Once you have one you will NEVER go back. Buy one of these instead of the DVR through cable companies just for the cute sounds! Plus they're just overall better...one of my friends has a DVR and it just doesn't do as much. If you're going to spend the money do it right!! I didn't find it too hard to setup, once I got the hang of it (my husband's in the Army and we move a lot so I've done it enough I can do it in my sleep now). I also have a DVD recorder and use it to record episodes of all my favorite shows. I'm hooked on all kinds of shows, and now never have to worry about missing an episode of anything ever, along with watching it as many times as I want. I've owned one for four years now and have never had any problems at all with it. I had to call the TiVo people for help setting it up the first time, and they were incredibly helpful and friendly. They have all kinds of cool stuff you can do with it now if it's on a broadband connection,......

niknik002 says "Not too big and not too small...it's just right!" about Hewlett Packard HP Pavilion dv2000

I bought this laptop in May of 2007 and I love it. I'm taking classes online so I use it every day and have only had a problem with my charger (which was replaced with the protection plan I purchased with the computer). I bought it at Circuit City and HIGHLY recommend their cityassure protection plan--they're friendly, provide fast service and are very easy to work with. The computer itself is great...the only thing I don't like about it is the battery doesn't last very long; I like to sit outside and do my schoolwork. I'm not a high-tech computer user, I mainly use it for talking to friends online, surfing the web, my photos and schoolwork. The webcam is very clear and the media player works great. I also use the lightscribe DVD program it comes with all the time. I'd definetely recommend this if you're a casual computer user! I've traveled quite a bit in the last few months and the computer travels well, I've had zero problems with it. I love it!...

niknik002 says "Awesome!!" about Canon - PowerShot SD400 Digital Camera

My husband bought this camera for me for Christmas in 2005, and it still works fantastic. It's small, lightweight but very durable...I use it all the time for drunk picture-taking with my friends and have dropped it several times and it's never been damaged. It's easy to use, easy to transfer pictures (I love the Zoom Browser program it comes with) and overall terrific! I wouldn't trade it for the world!...
