newbeg2008 says "Great digest of timely medical and nutritional info" about Prevention Magazine

A regular reader several years ago, I recently re-subscribed because I missed the quick, useful medical news and nutritional information. Like many of us, between my family and I have several chronic diseases and conditions that require vigilant management. Prevention is a great source of the latest news. Even though Prevention articles are typically short, the reader is almost always directed to a website or other source of more-detailed information. Also, like many of us, I am concerned with reaching and maintaining a healthy body weight. Each volume of Prevention contains a substantial nutrition section that is both educational and practical. Also, all of the recipes contain nutritional information, which is important to me because I follow Weight Watchers and am able to calculate the number of points attributable to each recipe. I keep the most recent copy of Prevention in my handbag so that I can read it anytime I am stuck somewhere. I love this magazine! —...

newbeg2008 says "Incredible relief for dry skin" about Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief

Wow! This is an incredible mosturizer. I've used many different moisturizers, most of which irritate my rosecea. I recently struggled with very dry, flaky skin due to a topical medication change for my rosecea and could find nothing to help with the dryness the medication caused. A friend suggested I try this moisturizer and it worked like magic! It is non-greasy, leaves you skin feeling very soft, and lasts all day. Buy the large container....

newbeg2008 says "The best eye cream I've ever used" about Clinique All About Eyes

I've used many eye creams over the years and this is the best I've found. It adequately hydrates without feeling sticky or slimy and can be used day or night. It also absorbs so well that you can put concealer on top of it within minutes without your make up running or slipping. I have puffy eyes that appear less puffy after using this product. The price is reasonable considering how long the product lasts. I've been using my current container for 5 months and probably have at least 2 more months before I'll need to re-stock. I also have sensitive skin and this product does not aggravate my skin at...

newbeg2008 says "Can't live without it!" about Downy Wrinkle Releaser All Scents

This is one of the best products I've used in years! I am very busy and do not have a washer and dryer in my apartment. This product freshens clothes as well as removes all but the most stubborn wrinkles. Most importantly for me is the fact that it keeps me from ironing. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have found it nearly impossible to iron since my diagnosis so I would often leave the house with wrinkled clothes. I use it so often that I joke that my signature scent is Downy Wrinkle Release! Though the scent is not at all overpowering and, in fact, disappears within an hour or...

newbeg2008 says "Don't remember what I did before I had these wipes" about Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

I use Clorox wipes everyday both at home and the office. The wipes are so convenient and easy to use that I don't remember what I did before I had them. I love all scents, but especially like to use the orange scent in the kitchen. If you need to do a quick tidy before visitors arrive, the wipes will tackle most moderate messes. My only complaint would be that sometimes a thicker wipe would be more...

newbeg2008 says "works amazingly well with very little elbow grease" about Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Extra Power

This product works very well and requires very little physical effort in the form of scrubbing that many other products require. The extra power version holds up better and tends to last longer than the original product, but both handle tough jobs with ease. It unexpectedly removed what appeared to be scratches on the surface of a portable CD player with a white-finish. — Also, I have rheumatoid arthritis and often find it difficult to clean and scrub, but this product makes it possible for me to do a good job without making my joints hurt. I would recommend it to anyone who is physically limited. —...
