ndrsav41 says "When will they bring customer service back to Home Depot?" about Home Depot - New Albany, IN

Ok, I have been boycotting Home Depot for more than three years now because of the following story: On a Sunday night mid-winter (cold and snowy), we had a plumber at our house doing some work. He didn't have a part to fix (both) of our toilets so I went out to get one. I first drove past Lowe's which was listed as being closed (time sign). So I figured I would try Home Depot. I went to the exit doors and begged the manager to let me come in to buy the one part that would allow both toilets to work otherwise we would be without toilets. He said that all of the registers were closed even though some customers came out during our conversation folding their receipt and I could see the cashier with a line. i told him the situation and he still said no. So I went back to Lowe's hoping to find an understanding person. Luckily, I did. I told the cart boy my situation and he went in and talked to the manager who personally came out and got me, found a plumbing rep. to help me find...

ndrsav41 says "Just gross - mildly funny." about Superbad

Ok, with all of the hype, I thought this movie was going to be phenomenal. It wasn't. The first half hour was all about boobs, porn, female genitalia, etc. Ok, we get it - they are horny young boys. The rest of the movie was a simplistic and at most times idiotic plot. The only truly funny (yet still disgusting) part was when the main kid danced with that girl and she left something special for him on his pants. No real redeeming factors in this one. Just plain gross. I felt dumber for having watched it. —...

ndrsav41 says "Liked it but was actually kind of disappointed" about Hairspray

OK,all the hype has me going. I saw the show on Broadway this past spring and I loved the movie when I was younger. The movie overall was good, but there were several elements that were off to me. First of all, John Travolta could not have been a worse choice for the role. At least Harvey Fierstein's voice was interesting. I think part of it is that he is not a "large" person in real life. it loses some of the husky sound and movement when someone is "playing large". I don't like that Tracy never went to prison. What the heck!?! Michelle Pfeifer looked the part but certainly couldn't play it. Her main song, "Miss Baltimore Crabs" (or whatever the real title is) is supposed to be big and brassy. She was barely able to give it a puff of air let alone any vocal texture. Nikki Blonsky was very good and I enjoyed knowing that she went from Coldstone to big time Hollywood. —...

ndrsav41 says "This is a great washer!" about LG WM2233H Front Load Washer

My wife and I bought this washer (and the matching dryer) not too sure of the LG name in appliances. We have been pleasantly surprised with the machine. It works very well, responds well to different situations including comforters, sneakers, etc. The machine can start to smell mildewy, but all you need to do is run a load with bleach every once in a while. I really like the dinging noises it makes and the easy of use. —...

ndrsav41 says "Really nice pictures and fairly easy to use." about Nikon D50 Digital Camera with 28-80mm Lens

The D50 has been a great camera for my wife and I. it takes great pictures and is very durable. It is pretty heavy though. You will definitely need a camera bag to carry it in, but I think the quality of the pictures makes it worth it. The only other criticism is that it is really hard to figure out how to turn off the flash. I think it is definitely worth the investment. Definitely get the remote and a longer zoom lense. The lense it comes with is fairly limiting. —...

ndrsav41 says "Great night of sleep!" about Tempurpedic Mattress

I find memory foam to be extremely worth the money. I sleep so much better now and my back is much better. I sleep on my side so it helps my hips from bruising as well.
— — Love it - definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! It can be expensive, but I really do feel it is worth it. We had a decent mattress before, but I would always wake up with bruised hips and a soar back. I really don't have that anymore after getting the new mattress. I think it really is the foam. — —...
