nandm says "Almost perfect, but very expensive to operate!" about Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing

My son (and I) love this swing. It has the most padding of any of the swings I looked at and is very comfortable. It can be used in the traditional swing setting, or as a cradle swing, which is a great feature. My son prefers the cradle setting, as he can lay back and look at the lights and fish on the mobile. There have been nights that if it were not for this swing, nobody would have gotten any sleep! It is very soothing to the baby. This is such a great product, that it makes no sense that Fisher Price over looked a very important feature...the silly thing only plays music/moves mobile for 7 minutes before it has to be reset. This is often very frustrating because the baby will be just almost asleep then the music stops and the baby wakes up! Be warned, this swing eats batteries like crazy! It takes 4 "D" batteries and they do not last long at all. I have spent a small fortune keeping batteries in this thing. But my son loves it, so we will continue using it. An overall great product,......

nandm says "Best baby purchase I've ever made!" about Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo

This jumperoo is absolutely awesome! I purchased it when my baby was 6 months old. He is now 10 months old and still loves this toy. It is very durable and holds up well to all of the kangeroo jumping! There are lots of toy attachments, colorful lights, and music to keep him entertained, but what he seems to like most about it is just the sheer joy of jumping! The batteries last forever (I have never replaced them!). The music is very cute and not annoying like some toys. The volume is also adjustable or can be turned completely off, which is another plus. The seat is easy to remove to wash. Before buying this, my son was very slow to sit up by himself. Soon after he started exercising in this, he was sitting up on his own with ease and soon even standing for long periods of time with help. I really think this toy helped strengthen his back and leg muscles. It is also nice for mom,as it allows me to have my hands free to actually be able to do a few chores! (Please note, although I feel......

nandm says "A great car seat that is worth every penny!" about Britax Boulevard

I spent forever researching to find the perfect car seat for our infant son. I wanted a car seat with not just high safety ratings, but stellar ratings. It also had to be comfortable for long trips as we travel to visit family at least every month. After researching safety ratings, product ratings, and car seat message boards, I decided on this car seat, and I am very pleased with it. Some pros are: side impact protection (a feature only available in a select few car seats, and a MUST have if you have to place the seat near a door instead of the center) this feature also makes a great headrest for sleeping babies...no more slumped over heads!; soft, comfortable fabric; lots of extra padding for a completely comfortable ride; knob enables you to easily adjustable straps without rethreading; goes up to 65 lbs; extremely well built...very heavy and durable (no sliding around with this one!). The seat is very comfortable and my baby actually likes sitting in it, which is a definite plus!...
...

nandm says "Almost perfect!" about InSTEP Jogging stroller

I was looking for a stroller with REAL wheels that could handle rough terrain with ease and yet be comfortable for the baby. I am happy to say that this does the job perfectly. I use it to take our baby with me on my daily walks/jogs. The wheel can be locked into place for jogging/running or unlocked for maneuvering through malls or tight places. This feature alone makes the stroller extremely versatile, and is probably one of my favorite features. Maneuvering is effortless and it almost feels like you are barely pushing anything. The adjustable handle bar is perfect because I am short and my husband is taller. The bar is easy to adjust and lowers enough that it is very comfortable for even a person as short as me (I am 4'll"). The price compared to other jogging strollers is great (I paid about $135 on Amazon). The five point harness is a great safety feature. The seat has extra padding, and seems to very comfortable, because our baby is usually asleep within minutes of being walked...
...
