myrtsimturbo says "Why didn't I get my daughter this 2 years ago?! " about Taby Tray

The Taby Tray has been a great joy for our car rides. It is basically a small tray - think airplane tray... it feels and pretty much looks the same - that straps to your child's car seat or stroller. This gives them a flat surface to write or color on, eat on, play on, while you are driving. It also has a fairly deep cup holder built in, which easily supported a Burger King King-sized cup during our drive. It has a lip around the entire edge as well, which is great for keeping crayons and other rolling items on the tray and off the floor. The bad thing about installing the Taby Tray is that you have to remove your car seat to put it in, but at least you only have to do that the first time. It straps underneath the seat, but after the initial install (took my husband like 30 second) you can leave the tray attached. It just sits to the side until you want to use it, so the child doesn't have to have it up all the time, only when he/she wants to use it. I just pull it across my child's...

myrtsimturbo says "Be the envy of your child-toting friends! " about Toyota Sienna - 2005

I cannot say enough about my Totota Sienna... love it! First off, the cost is less than a comprably decked out SUV. Even though Toyotas tend to be expensive, the minivan truly is reasonably priced. Toyotas also retain their value well. I will be keeping mine forever, though, which may be an exaggeration, but with the durability of a Toyota, I can certainly plan on keeping it a long time. As a parent, the Sienna has been a life-saver. It comes equipped with LATCH, and with the middle row captain's chairs, installing a car seat is a snap. I can also put a car seat in each captain's chair and move the seats side by side, or put both against the doors with space in between them. The dual side doors, (automatic, of course) make it easy to access either seat. The seats also fold down easily for third row passengers to get in, and if you have a car seat in both captain's chairs so that one cannot be folded down, you can put it in the middle position and people can just walk right by to get...

myrtsimturbo says "Keeps me dry, and that's no lie! " about Pampers Cruisers Diapers

My daughter has just turned 3 years old, and though she is 100% potty-trained during the day, she still sleeps with a diaper. The only diaper we use is Pampers Cruisers, size 5. The Pampers brand is the brand most often chosen by my circle of friends with girls, and I feel that it has served us well throughout my daughter's life. However, I'm particularly impressed with it at this stage of the game. Pampers has two distinct lines of diapers - the Baby Dry and the Cruisers. While the Baby Dry is a fine diaper, and serves its purpose, it is not nearly as easy to use as the Cruisers. The Cruisers are, in my husband's words, "the stretchy ones". They are easy to fasten, and because they feel so flexible, I believe my daughter to be comfortable... they don't feel stiff. They do a great job keeping her dry all night, and that's no small feat for a three year old who drinks a lot and sleeps through the night. She wakes up each morning with her diaper soaked, but her jammies and bed dry......
