While it is a bit expensive, it is perfect for when we are on the go. When we have to travel to Riley Hospital for Children or even to church, it is perfect to throw in the diaper bag and go. You can also buy the singles to throw in it to spice it up a bit. ...

mykatybug2002 says "God gave women breast to feed their babies!" about Breastfeeding Opinion

My first wouldn't take to breast feeding and I had inverted nipples. I had NO support and it was very hard to do, especially being a first time mom and not knowing what to do. I made it through 6 weeks before he literally ripped off one of my nipples. I switched him to formula and he is still alive and doing great. I was DETERMINED to bf my second child and he is now 14 months old and still nursing. When I was pregnant I would rub the purple Lansinoh Cream on my nipples after each shower and then more often as I got closer to term. I had NO problem at all this time, my nipples were conditioned to take the new baby. Now I just have to figure out how to get him off. He did develop Asthma just as his brother and even at a younger age. His weight has been better but he has been VERY sick. I understand it gives them anti-bodies and helps their immunity, but I had a very sick baby. I would recommend that every mother at least...

mykatybug2002 says "WONDERFUL" about Baby Einstein Little Einstein DVD, CD, Books & Discovery Cards

WOW, that pretty much sums it up. I was introduced to the LE movies when my oldest was 2. He has been diagnosed with and Autism Spectrum Disorder and these help him. The music is great and the fact that they incorporate art into is also is wonderful. My son is now 3 and my infant is 14 months and they both LOVE the movies. They are a little high in the price so I would recommend renting one before buying, but I personally will buy them all before I rent them, my son asks for them...

mykatybug2002 says "Better than most brands" about Walmart Parent's Choice Line of Diapers

I normally use cloth, but the only disposable brand that I buy is Parents Choice from Walmart. They are durable, and work! They aren't perfect, but the description on the package my say 6-12 pounds, that means the weight of your baby, not your diaper! In 14 months, he has leaked through maybe twice at night and I have never had a problem with them falling apart. With my older son I use the Walmart brand of pullups and they work great as well. They had used a "break away" sides type a while back that I LOVED and was very disappointed to see they don't use that anymore, but the others are too much and don't work nearly as well. The other brand that I have used more often was Luvs with my first child, and they were great and hypoallergenic. If you are pinching your pennies, Parent's choice is a wonderful brand, and even if you aren't pinching, they work better than Huggies. — ...

mykatybug2002 says "Perfect for mom and dad!" about Maya Wrap Baby Sling

THIS is the MOST wonderful idea. I used it, and still do when we go to the store, on walks, to public events and so on. I once was in a store and son woke up and wanted to ride in the cart, so I sat him in the seat and realized that the seat belt was broken. I wrapped this around him and wove it though the seat and it made a wonderful belt! This also helped when I was breastfeeding. I LOVE this item and think that every mother should have one. It also helped my son calm down when he was a baby and he wasn't nearly as restless as...

mykatybug2002 says "Get this item to make your baby bow-legged!" about Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo

I bought this for my very active infant when he was about 4.5 months old. Within one month, at his next check up, his legs had bowed so bad that the pediatrician told me to throw it away that is it was hurting my child. He is now 14 months old, walked earlier (9 months old) because he was on the floor more and had room to roam around. I would recommend that you only use this product for very very short period of time, if you must have your child in something like this. The item is very sturdy and he had a great time in it, but the physical effect wasn't worth it. ...
