mskittie says "Mucinex Mini-Melts a good solution for kids with congestion" about Mucinex For Kids Mini Melts

Mucinex Mini-Melts for Kids works quickly and tastes great!

If you have kids then you know how difficult it can be to get them to take medicine. Not only are they miserable and cranky from being sick, they also have to contend with yucky tasting medicine that is either forced down or secretly added to their foods or drinks, these attemps typically result in a crying child and a frustrated parent.

Kids may be little but they aren't stupid they quickly learn to put up a good fight when they see the spoon coming their way. If this sounds familiar then Mucenix Mini-Melts is a great addition to your medicine chest.

Mucinex Mini-Melts come in a variety of flavors and the individual packets makes it easy to take them on the go. Each packet contains granules that you pour on your childs tongue, or mix in a sippy cup with a favorite juice.

My son was hesitant but a good sport his first time trying it, which turned out to be a huge success! He says "it taste like a pixie stick, yum"
...

mskittie says "Detoxologie, the best body cleanse I've ever done." about Detoxologie Deluxe Cleansing Program

Over the past few years I've spent a great deal of time educating myself on how to live a healthier life, not just for me but also for my family. I've tried a variety of herbal products, some good, some not so good. I'm learning a lot and have greatly improved our eating habits and have added some great supplements to our routine.

I heard about Detoxologie thru a friend who loves their products and I decided to give them a try, I did and I was impressed! The products they sell are organic and wild-crafted they have no herbal laxatives in their programs (which plagued every colon/detox program out there) so you aren't chained to the toilet and afraid to leave the house.

The Detoxologie Deluxe Cleansing Program is my favorite and I haven't found another program like it. It has super greens for heavy metal detox and immune boosting, colon/organ detox, parasite and organic bath salts for detoxing the skin ( I love these salts! they smell awesome.) i feel great after cleansing and have continued...
...

I love to cook healthy great tasting food and I have a list ( all in my head) of things I've never made before, while the list continues to grow I have found some fantastic guidance and fail proof recipes from The Barefoot Contessa. Her book "The Barefoot Contessa's Parties" is a must for those who love to entertain with ease and style while impressing your guests with irresistable dishes that range from refreshing and light to hearty and comforting that definitely hit the spot.

mskittie says "Buying safeway produce is a real gamble." about Safeway fresh produce

I shop at Safeway on a regular basis and have for years. It always seems to be the closest grocery store to our home. Safeway is a little on the pricey side but we always seem to need something quick so off we go again to Safeway.

We have lived in three different places in the past 6 years and in all three states I have experienced the same thing with Safeway. I understand that they need to sell the oldest stuff first but it's a bit ridiculous when you buy a head of lettuce or an onion or a bag of carrots and it starts to rot within a day or two (or you need it right away and you come home and it's rotten when you get cut into it.) For awhile I avoided their produce altogether but here in WA it's a drive to get to another store so I have to plan my veggie shopping so anything I need last minute has to come from Safeway.

It's to Safeway's credit that they have graciously refunded my money or exchanged every item I've returned but that's a hassle. Who has time or desire to constantly...
...

mskittie says "Penske Trucks are dependable but not necessarily a good value" about Penske Truck Rental

During our recent cross country move we rented a Penske truck. It was a newer truck that we were told would get 10 to 15 mpg. So we added this to our budget and loaded it up. The truck drove okay, although it's was really slow going up hills, the seats are not very comfortable and the arm rests are way up high...but it's a moving truck so deal with it.

What up set my husband and I was the fuel costs. It really got between 5 and 7 mpg so it ended up costing us double what we had budgeted for. Penske had no comment other than we either drove it to fast( which was impossible, you could get the truck to do more than 55 if you wanted) or had too heavy a load ( the truck was a little more than half full with household items..about 3500lbs). The truck is rated to carry 8,000 lbs.

I can't say that the whole rental was a bad experience, the truck ran fine, it did the job with no problems BUT Penske should have been more upfront with us about the cost of fuel.

A word to the wise...make...
...

mskittie says "Great Mini Series with fabulous costumes and settings" about The Tudors

The Tudors mini-series on SHOWTIME has been very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. My husband enjoys it also. I'm a big history buff so something of this nature is easy for me to tune into but I dont always stick around. The costumes in this film are very impressive to say the least each and every one is prettier than the next. While I will admit that the show doesnt always stick to the facts and I"m sure it's full of situations that never took place...but it works. It's very entertaining and close enough to the true story that it keeps you intrigued and waiting for more.

It was made to entertain first and inform second and thats just what it does..with great style and class.
...

Home Depot moving boxes are a great choice when you are planning to move. We just recently moved from AZ to WA it's a huge move and costly to say the least. In an effort to save money and time we decided to pack most of the house ourselves. I searched the internet and called local looking for boxes, boy are they expensive! $3 to $6 a box just for regular boxes. BUT I did get a break! I just happened by the boxes in Home Depot and was shocked to see how bargain friendly they were. $.96 to $2.86 a box. this was a great find which saved us a lot of money. Keep this in mind the next time you move. UHAUL charges double for the same quality box that you can get at Home Depot.

We were recently picked to field test the newest model for Sub Zero. It's the first time I have ever been chosen to test a new and upcoming product so I was a little excited about it. Our last ice maker was ok..it made ice but it was kinda noisy. The new one that we currently have is really really nice! The ice cubes are a nice size, its super quite, it has new features that are not available on their other models like a light on the inside, the ability to delay ice being made so it doesn't disturb you. it makes tons of ice! So look for the new model from Sub Zero that's coming out this summer it's a great product that I'm sure you will gets lots of use from.

...

We recently remodeled our home so we have all new appliances. We decided to go with the Asko dishwasher that we could put a custom wood panel on that marches our cabinetry in the kitchen. I've been a mom and a wife for over twenty years now and I have to say that this is the nicest dishwasher that I have ever used. It's very dependable, totally quiet, it has a light in it the top comes out really easy if you need to wash something tall. The dishes always come out clean and it hasn't ruined any of my Tupperware or silverware. There are quite a few different settings to choose from that make it really convenient to use. Over the holidays I was able to use the fine china setting to wash my crystal and bone china...it worked great! it was very gentle.

I would highly recommend Asko if you are looking for a new dishwasher.

...

mskittie says "Garnet Hill Pajamas are so wonderful! Soft, thick, warm and cozy" about Garnet Hill Flannel pajamas

Garnet Hill pajamas are an absolute must in the winter season around this house. If you have not purchased a pair of these pj's for your little one's you simply must try them. I discovered this brand about 7 years ago through a mail order catalog and I have never been disappointed yet. The high quality of the fabric is unsurpassed by any pj's I've purchased before. They last and last and are always the first choice of "jammies" that my son picks. If you plan on buying a pair keep in mind that they sell out by Christmas and have only a limited selection in the spring....this is the only downfall I have found. But I know better so I buy my son a few pairs when the fall catalog comes out and give them to him for Christmas.

They are usually 24.00 to 40.00 a pair (they do go on sale) but if you have little ones that you can pass them down to you will definitely get your moneys worth out of them.
...

The Other Boleyn Girl is a wonderful novel. The Author does a great job of sticking to the historical facts and filling in the unknown details with sensible and realistic situations. I have always been a fan of this time in history and Philippa Gregory has spent a great deal of time researching and bringing to life the extraordinary events of the English Tudor period.

The Apple MacBook is a wonderful computer. We bought one for each of our teenagers and they just love them. They are easy to use, printer friendly and best of all durable. Kids are not the easiest on things and I'm really surprised that they have held up as well as they have.

The Cybex arc trainer provides a great workout for both the upper and lower body while giving the knees a break. I go to the gym just about everyday, 6 months ago they brought in a dozen Arc Trainers. I have been hooked on them ever since. While I do mix up my routine with running, stair climbing and the bike to get the best results. I look forward to 45 minutes on ths machine. I recommend this for anyone that likes the eliptical it's very simiar but you actually bend your knees more (it's kinda like running on sand) and you have the option to use it like a stair climber too. It seems to be really popular since people are waiting to use them so I suspect others are feeling the same way I do. Give it a try and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I would love to own...maybe one day.

And yes... you will sweat like crazy from the great workout you'll get.
...

Royal Canin indoor cat food is must around this house not only do my cats love it but so do I. I've been a cat owner for well over 20 years and I've tried every food under the sun. Friskies, Purina, etc... but had never tried this one. I adopted two beautiful boys from a cat shelter. They had been abused and abandoned. A wonderful lady found the boys and nursed them back to health. They had been started on this food so I continued with it, not wanting to add to thier stress level. It's a bit pricey and I thought very hard about changing it until I noticed something.... My cats didn't seem to eat as much as my previous cats and the cat box wasn't "used" as frequently either. I did a little research as well as speaking with the "cat lady" who rescued my cats, what I found out was that this food has less fillers and is more nutritious so the cats don't have to eat as much of it to get the proper nutition they need. Therefore the trips to the box are less frequent which , needless to say,...
...

They taste great and are 2.99 or less if you get them on sale. We add a little more cheese, fresh herbs, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc...what ever you like and they always turn out great. I have fed 4 teenage boys for a nominal price and the best part is that it's healther for them. They have no idea the crust is whole wheat and the ingredients are healthier than the other frozen pizzas or the local pizza delivery service. Harvard has a connecting program for those in the anthropology department, it has one of the country's largest collections of ancient South American pottery.
