msjones1 says "Great small room air conditioner for the price!" about Frigidaire FAA068P7A Air Conditioner

The Frigidaire model # FAA068P7A air conditioner is a great 6,000 BTU unit for the money. We have it in our office which adjoins our living room, and it keeps both rooms cool. Today was the second of two very hot days, and the unit is successfully keeping us cool. This unit has a thermostat and a remote control that you can use to set the temperature, use the Energy Saver option, and set a timer. It is not a quiet air conditioner; it makes about the same amount of noise as a fan, but the sound fades into the background in my opinion. I love the Energy Saver option, which will automatically switch to the fan when the room temperature reaches the number you preset. It has two "wings" on each side for a snug fit in the window and it includes foam for you to insert into any openings between the window and the wings. I suggest you purchase extra foam to be sure you have enough for a tight fit to prevent the outside air from coming into the room. This unit is Energy Star compliant,...
...

msjones1 says "The most convenient online grocery store in NYC." about Fresh Direct - Long Island City, NY

Fresh Direct - I LOVE using Fresh Direct for my grocery needs. I hardly make a trip to the supermarket anymore. They are better than their competition in NYC because the competition only delivers four days per week, but Fresh Direct delivers seven days! Plus, their cutoff time for placing an order is as late as 11:00 PM the day before delivery! Their drivers are very polite and make their deliveries on-time, if not early. The website is very user-friendly and it is super-easy to make changes. I usually order whatever is sale. If a heavy item is not on sale, I will purchase it and try to factor in the time & energy I save by having Fresh Direct carry my purchases up two steep flights of stairs and into my kitchen. If you purchase a six or twelve month delivery pass, you can make unlimited deliveries for that time at no extra cost. Plus, you can reserve a weekly delivery slot instead of being at the mercy of whatever delivery slots are available when you need your order. ...
...

msjones1 says "The Kyocera Cyclops is a decent phone for the money." about Kyocera - Cyclops Cell Phone

I bought the Cyclops in 2008 as a second cell phone because my two children had Virgin Mobile service which cost a lot less than my previous cell phone service. I actually like to use the mobile e-mail and the mobile web on the Cyclops. This is not a phone for technophiles. The Cyclops' screen is small compared to the newer phones, and the camera is not that great, but if you're looking for a decent, inexpensive phone that call do a little of everything, this is the phone. This phone only comes with three demo games, so you have to buy the full version of any game you want on this phone. It has a pretty decent address book feature where you can add photos of the people in your book. You can also visit the Virgin Mobile website to listen to real music ringtones before you buy them. They offer a great selection of ringtones, both current and older songs. I like to use the phone when I'm traveling, and I need a local restaurant or taxi phone number. I simply go online to a...
...

msjones1 says "The Coleman Comfortsmart Quickbed gives a comfortable rest." about Coleman Comfortsmart Quickbed

The Coleman Comfortsmart Quickbed is a great bed to use at home. I don't camp, but I moved twice within a short period of time and could not afford a regular bed. We purchased Coleman airbeds as a temporary solution until we could buy beds. Well, it's a year later, and we prefer the airbeds. They are very comfortable. The nice thing about it is that you can set your own firmness. Be careful not to overinflate, or else the bed will spring a leak. After a hard day's work, I lie down on the Coleman Quickbed and float into comfort. The best part is that I can lean it against a wall or deflate it for extra room during the day. It's easier to vacuum when you can stow the bed away. This bed is very durable, but you have to have common sense. My daughter put her hot flat iron on her airbed one day! I take care of mine, and it has lasted with daily use. It inflates in about 1-2 minutes. I would recommend this to everyone EXCEPT to people with bad backs and who require...
...

msjones1 says "The Proform 8.5 Personal Fitness Trainer saves trips to the gym." about Proform 8.5 Personal Fitness Trainer

The Proform 8.5 Personal Fitness Trainer is a great treadmill to use at home. Proform give out the option to have a mechanic come to your home to assemble for an extra fee, but my boyfriend assembled my treadmill for me. It was relatively easy to put together. It took us over one hour to assemble. Once it was ready, I was able to use the display to set my workout. There are large speed and incline buttons to manually set those controls. There are also preset workout cards that fit into a slot on the display, hence, the "personal trainer." You can plug in an MP3 which will play through speakers on the treadmill, and there is a fan. Of course, the display is not like the commercial grade treadmills at the gym, but the Proform Personal Fitness Trainer is surprisingly full of features. This machine is LOUD, so if you have a basement, it is better to use it there, otherwise, you'll disturb anyone in the room below. This Proform treadmill is very sturdy and durable and...
...

msjones1 says "The Lean Mean Fat Reducing Machine is great for small meals." about George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Machine

The George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Machine is a great little indoor grill. We use it to grill burgers, chops, hot dogs, and fish. It adds a delicious, smoked taste to the food and drains all of the unhealthy fat you don't want. I love the way it cooks burgers. I like to use it like a real grill, so I don't put the top down to cook both sides at once, I like to cook one side at a time. That also gives me more time to prepare the side dishes, otherwise the food gets too dry, in my opinion, if you cook both sides at once. The burgers come out nice and juicy if you cook them one side at a time. Just be careful not to burn your hands. The George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Machine comes with a cookbook, a plastic turning fork, and sponges made to clean the grill. The grill is non-stick, but your best bet is to add a little cooking spray so the food doesn't stick, because this can be hard to clean. My daughters like to make hot dogs on it because they taste like...
...

My old, blue Linksys router started smoking and eventually gave out one day, and I needed to get a replacement pronto for my home office. I did some research online and found this Linksys Wireless N Gigabit router. It was exactly what we needed for our small home network. I ran to my local electronics big box store and picked this up on sale. I am so glad I did, because it doesn't run hot like the old Linksys router. It has easy to read icons that glow in different colors to show if you're connected and the strength of your connection. Right now, we only have two computers using the router, but we will eventually connect four. It comes with a CD to help you configure the router, and it was very easy to follow. I love the fact that there are no ugly antenna on this model. You can sit it flat on a table top or mount it on the wall. Plus, you get the great support of Cisco in case you run into any problems. I found it very user friendly, and even though I use the...
...

msjones1 says "YoCrunch 100 Calorie Packs are not bad for 100 calories." about Breyers Yo Cruch 100 Calorie Packs; Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Cookie Pieces

YoCrunch sent me two $1 off coupons in the mail for the new 100 calorie packs of yougurt, so that is really why I decided to try them. I enjoy the regular YoCrunch varieties very much, so I gave the 100 calorie vanilla with chocolate chip cookie pieces a chance. I figured I couldn't go wrong with chocolate chip cookies! My teenage daughter absolutely LOVES this yogurt, but she agrees with my opinion that the servings are too much small. It was so funny when we saw the actual packages in the store, because the pictures of the cartons of four containers appear to be the regular 6 oz. size, but they are actually only 3.5 ounces. It is a tasty treat, but the small serving size leads you to eat a second container of yogurt, so you're not really saving any calories. I thought it tasted ok, nothing fabulous. If you're a person with a lot of discipline who would stop at one 3.5 oz. container of this product, give it a try. For the rest of us, we'd be better off eating the regular...
...

msjones1 says "Prevacid is a great treatment for acid reflux." about Prevacid Acid Reflux Medicine

Prevacid is a great medicine for treating acid reflux disease. I used to get horrible, gut-wrenching abdominal pains that would leave me curled up in the fetal position without any relief. I used to take Ibuprofen tablets to get relief from the pains. It was the worst! My doctor suspected I had acid reflux disease and instructed me to follow the "reflux diet": no tomatoes, no chocolate, not fatty or fried foods, no onions, no coffee, no tea, no soda, no spices - awful to a person like me who loves to eat and loves spicy foods! Even though I followed the reflux diet, I still had burning pains in my chest. My doctor prescribed Prevacid to combat the excess acid my stomach was producing. Prevacid provided quick relief for me. The doctor also said that it would heal the damage to my esophagus caused by the excess stomach acid. Prevacid was truly a life saver. I only took it for two months, but it had a tremendous result in stopping the horrible stomach pains.
...

msjones1 says "Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine is the best summer shampoo ever!" about Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo Sleek and Shine

The Garnier Fructis line of shampoos and conditioners is excellent! The sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner will leave your hair in great shape. The Garnier Fructis products actually do what they say on the bottles, so you can believe what you read! I love to use these products in the summer because I have super frizzy hair that is difficult to manage. These products take all of the frizz away and leave my hair shiny and manageable. They also make my hair easier to style and resist humidity. Use a little straightening gel, and you are ready to go. They also offer $1 and $2 off coupons, so I combine those with the sales at my local drug store chain to pay as little as $1 per bottle for these great products. If your hair is extra frizzy, it's better to buy the large bottles so that you don't use them up too fast. All in all, I highly recommend these products for all hair types if you want straight, shiny locks.
...
