mrstko says "a german shepard is a great dog for an individual or a family" about German shepherd breed

The german shepard is a great dog for both an individual or a family pet as long as you know what you are getting into. GSD's are a very loyal and loving breed. They will respond well to adults as well as children. As with any animal, children should be supervised and taught the proper way to interact with a live animal. Most GSD's will bond well with children in the family and become a protector and "parent" for children in their "Pack". With that said GSD's are very pack oriented and will want to establish their place in the pack. They will want to be the alpha male unless it is impressed on them that they are not the leader of the pack. When they are growing up or as an adult is introduced into your family, it is very important to establish leadership over the dog. There is no need for physical overpowering or cruelty, simply set the boundry and stick to it. Most shepards will try to push the boundries from time to time(very much like a child) but they are by nature a pack animal and...
...

mrstko says "bath and body works body cream is fantastic" about Bath & Body Works Body Cream

I was never really a fan of regularly using any lotion or body cream until we moved from th emid west to the desert. My skin was constantly dry and itchy after the move. Being on the "frugal" side, I first tried all the store brand lotions and creams. I found that in this extremely dry environment, that the cheaper brands only lasted a few hours and I really wasn't saving any money because I had to apply it 4 or 5 times a day. And even more annoying was that I had to carry it with me if I was leaving the house.

As a special holiday gift, my husband went to Bath And Body Works and had a basket custom made for me. It was filled with all different scents and types of lotions and body washes. My favorite turned out to be the Bath and Body Works Body Cream used with the matching shower gel. I have different scents that I prefer for different seasons or activities but Bath and Body Works products are the only ones that I use. I have found that using the shower gel is much less harsh on my...
...

mrstko says "Bacara was an outstanding experience" about bacara - Santa Barbara, CA

We spent 3 days at Bacara after getting an ad/promo from AMEX reguarding the resort. I was not sure what to expect as it was one of the more expensive places we have stayed, but from the moment we arrived, I knew it was worth every penny! The grounds and facilities are extremely well maintained. The property sits right at the oceans edge and has breath taking views of the Pacific. The beach is more rustic cliffs than typical tourist sand. Upon check in, we were wisked off on a luxury golf cart for a tour of the property, on the way to our room. The property includes pools, hot tubs, a spa, a golf course, a game room, two on site restaurant, a boutique, tennis and more fabulously landscaped grounds than we could explore in three days.

Our room had a lovely seating area as well as all the standard fair. The true high point was the balcony. Through a set of french doors we found a nice sized balony outfitted with a very comfortable bistro set. We were on the second floor, so our balcony was...
...

mrstko says "The cannon eos rebel is a great place to start with slr camera" about Canon - EOS 350D/Rebel XT SLR Digital Camera

I have always use Canon products but always just the point and shoot. I got the Canon EOS Rebel as a gift two years ago and have loved it! I had researched other manufacturers but wanted to stay with Canon for the quality and familiarity. It was a big step but the transition has been fun.

The Eos Rebel has automatic settings for the beginner and a complete ability to manually control all settings. Anyone can take a great picture with this camera. The settings range from landscape,to portrait to macro so you really can shoot any subject.

With one or two additional lenses your rig is complete, for a fairly reasonable price. So far, I have had no durability issue with the canon equipment. I have taken the equipment from the beaches of California and Mexico to the top of Four Peaks strapped to my back on a quad, and never missed a shot.

After shooying is complete, the preloaded software is very easy to work with. Pictures arevery easily downloaded to a computer for review and printing. Over...
...
