mrsnespy says "Nothing works better!" about Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Cream

This is, by far, the best diaper rash cream on the market. We have tried every other brand we have seen and Boudreaux's out performs them all!

Although this item is a bit costly, this bargain shopping mom will tell you that it is well worth the expense. It performs so well that the cost is less than buying cheaper creams and having to use twice as much!

The thick cream is easy to apply, offers full coverage, has a pleasant smell, easily cleans up, and is basically a miracle product. It was even recommended by a doctor to my uncle who had colon surgery.

Love it...I will never use another diaper rash cream.
...

mrsnespy says "DURABLE!!!" about Medela Pump In Style Advanced Backpack

This pump is outstanding! When my son refused to nurse correctly, I committed myself to pumping full time for him in order for him to get most of the benefits of breast feeding. I used this pump 5-6 times a day for 8 months to feed my son and it never let me down! It was great to take to work or use as a passenger in the car in order to express milk.

The price tag was a bit high, but our hospital gave the attachments to us for free when we told them we were breastfeeding. This gives you the option of either renting one or using another person's. Some people don't agree with this practice, but all of the parts that the milk or my body came in contact with were part of the accessories that the hospital gave to me. I was able to use a pump that a close friend had been given and it was a life (and money) saver!

Over 8 months of constant use, this product never let me down!
...

mrsnespy says "Support for mom and baby" about Boppy Luxe Pillow

The Boppy that we used for my son was a great support for when we were feeding him. I tried breastfeeding for a week before coming to the conclusion that he wasn't figuring it out, so I resorted to pumping breast milk and feeding it to him in a bottle. The Boppy was great for both me and my husband in holding our son while feeding him. When the middle of the night feedings were going, it was easy to use to relax a bit instead of having to fully support his weight and head while half asleep!

Also great to use for "tummy time" and developing those neck muscles. We also used it to sit him upright a bit so that he could look around the room better. Of course all of the above time MUST be supervised time!

I have kept the Boppy for any other children that we may have and it is not the easiest thing to store.

Brilliant product!
...

mrsnespy says "So disappointing" about Blades of Glory

This had so much potential. With the starring cast, I would have expected the goofball humor that I have seen those two perform so often with ridiculously funny outcomes. The story was really no worse than most of those in this line of unrealistic humor, but something just didn't pan out for this movie. The acting was what was expected, the story was to be expected, the direction was fine, but the magic just wasn't there.

The second star was for the few lines that were laughable. It really deserves more of a 1-1/2 rating from me in my opinion.

Unfortunately my husband purchased this before we saw it expected better things. Do you know how I can get it off my hands?
...

mrsnespy says "I think I have worked there before!" about The Office

This is by far the best show on TV currently. Although it seems to go beyond believable, if you've ever worked in an office environment, you can honestly relate to most of the situations (even those that don't even seem plausible). Steve Carrel is brilliant, but the show would still fail without such a great supporting cast. The characters are all believable as real people and not stereotypes, which makes it watchable. The drama that exists is realistic and the comedic twists never let the story get too bogged down.

Brilliant writing, as all ideas are fresh and real without being monotonous or similar to other shows' plots.

The only drawbacks are that not all subject matter is appropriate for children (although nothing has gotten too graphic or detailed) and it saddens me that the show is usually only an hour long!
...

A subscription to this magazine was one of the best gifts my husband ever gave me. It is full of delicious recipes that are practical for everyday life with great tips and pointers. It has a variety of topics such as great buys, pet tips, and a wine selection helper in every issue. I love how she takes recipes in each issue and includes tips on making any leftovers into a different treat for another meal (tomorrow's lunch?). I also love the shopping list that is included with her week's worth of meals menu.

The only downside is that it only comes out once a month! I'd love to get it weekly!

Perfect for practical people who are looking for different options for meals and parties. LOVE IT!
...

mrsnespy says "Perfect for our lifestyle!" about Netflix

I have REALLY enjoyed our membership to Netflix. It has provided the opportunity to watch both new movies and those that we just have never gotten around to renting. I once hated perusing the video store in hopes to find something semi-interesting, but this makes it easy, as I can do the same at my convenience at home in my pjs!

I really like the fact that it recommends movies for you based on your ratings of movies you have seen. This has led to a lot of really good finds that I never would have rented and keeps me from searching through a lot of movies that I really have no interest in while looking for what I want.

I once hated returning a movie to the store unwatched because it was due back (I'm hate paying fees) or watching a movie when it was inconvenient (or I wasn't interested) just so I wouldn't be returning it unwatched. I no longer have this worry, as we always have a movie on hand to curb any boredom on nights that we're at home with no other plans.

One scratched...
...

mrsnespy says "Never found anything better" about Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover

I have never found another conventional cleaning product that works to remove both stains and odors as well as this one. It has worked perfectly for us on new carpet with fresh (up to days old) stains and works fairly well on stains that were already present when we moved into our last home. Great for carpet, upholstry and any other fabric that I have used it on.

The only stain that I any difficulty removing was that of when my son threw up on the carpet. It did not remove it completely, but did a much better job than any other product I have tried.

I love that it is safe to use around my pets and my very young son.

I have learned that it works best if this is the only product tried (some other chemicals make it set in more).

Although some have noted that it is expensive, I found it on some websites for fairly cheap and one 32 oz bottle lasted me 3 years (and I have 3 pets and a son).
...

I absolutely love this product for those otherwise impossible tasks. As a mother of a toddler and three pets, this product has worked wonders where other products failed.

These are not inexpensive, so I do not buy them for menial or minor tasks, but use them only for those messes/markers/dirt that cannot be removed by conventional methods.

As someone who is very clean-conscious and practical, this product has really wowed me.
...

mrsnespy says "Why change a good thing?" about Microsoft Vista Home Premium

I don't understand. Windows XP was a perfectly reasonable operating system. I know it had it's weaknesses, but I much prefer it over this updated version.

I feel the upgraded security that Vista is trying to provide would be provided by keeping up-to-date virus blockers and security programs. Or find out what it is that Mac and Linux have on keeping out viruses (gasp).

There is some getting used to with the tabs and such provided, but that is not my real complaint, as I don't mind adjusting to change if it is for the better. However, I am asked with almost every step I take if I can confirm that action. The fact is, if I click on "install," the chance is that I really want to install the program.

I do not see the benefit of this over XP in the daily functions that I use our home PC for. I much prefer the XP I have at work.

Side note--at work, I learned that the new computer ordered have Vista on them and it costs $50 per PC to downgrade to XP. Sounds like Microsoft...
...

This system is great in practicatlity. It is great for use as a carrier/carseat/stroller combo; still good when baby is too big to be carried in the carrier as a carseat and stroller; even still useful today as a toddler as just a stroller. It offers good cup storage for both child and parent, good shade, good recline-options for the little one, and FABULOUS storage space beneath. As a thrifty person, this item is definitely worth the cost. Although the carrier stage is gone quickly, the lifetime of this product as a carseat and stroller alone with its features are wonderful....

This toy was FABULOUS for so many reasons! I provided great "upright" time for my son once he could support his own upper body and greatly improved his balance. It strengthened his little legs as he hopped up and down. He loved the music, colors, sounds, and all of the activities and even successfully used it as a teething assistant. This was priceless when we needed to contain him and entertain him, like when we ate dinner later than he did and didn't need him bored at the table and looking to entertain himself. Although a higher-end toy, the time used and entertainment and learning it provided were worth the cost! This prooved to be absolutely priceless for us! ...
