mrphilinmaine says "A must have for the leery-of-getting loss traveler!" about Garmin - StreetPilot c550

The Garmin c-550 has reduce a lot of stress in my life. As a person who is leery of getting lost on many occasions I decided to give this GPS a try. The setup is simple, the mount is simple, the whole product is. What better then turning something on and seeing two buttons too choose from? That's all there are to start!

With traffic alert capabilities, blue tooth capabilities, text to speech selective voices that even iterate street names, as well as a decent MP3 player this is the GPS for most. The speakers are stereo which is a rare find in the GPS community. With a little ingenuity you can hook them into your car speakers VIA a cassette adaptor or FM tuner. ($20)

The system itself takes time to warm and has a hard time finding the satellite while warming, once its warmed up the satellite stays intact. Have never found an area that didn't have reception. (Have yet to test it in tunnels). The price might be rough for some but do yourself a favor and get this one toy. ......

mrphilinmaine says "King of Horror Continues to Come Through." about Cell

An avid, long term reader of King's works I feel very obligated to try and tempt into you into reading this novel.

Stephen King has a way (Salem's Lot) of taking the classic tales of vampires, zombies, and the like and putting a fascinating twist on it. Modernize it if it do ya well. This tale focuses on a group of people who VIA a satellite signal become zombies, walking-dead.

The story telling is vivid, the details are riveting. This is new King, but in the same time it's vintage King. Fans of horror or Stephen King will definitely like it I'd put a guarantee on it. The twist is enough you won't be bored with the classic (Night of the Living Dead) theme. Yet it is also cherishable enough to follow and remember with heartfelt nostalgia. definitely as long as a King novel which means it will take you time, but then the story ends way before you expect. Great ending...!
...
