mrlycus says "Easy and delicious" about Keurig B-60

I've owned this coffee maker for a year now and still absolutely love it. It's easy & quick and does not create a mess. It's perfect for my household of just me & my fiancee. However, I would not' throw out the old coffee pot just yet. It does become a hassle when guests come over. I have to stand there making coffee for everyone one at a time. In these cases, I find it's easier to just take out the old coffee maker and make a large pot. Also much cheaper if you need to make coffee for a large group.
...

mrlycus says "Needs a bit more oomph" about Mazda3 - 2007

I have a Mazda 3, 2007 model and have owned it for 2 years now. It's a great car for a short daily commute and I love it. It's the perfect size for me, not too shabby on gas, and comes at a decent price.

However, my one major complaint about the car is the engine power. This is a smaller car and if you are driving flat roads, you probably won't have any big complaints. But I have taking my car on several trips where I encountered hilly highways. This is where my little mazda disappointed me. Approaching the hill, I would be driving 5-10 miles over the speed limit, only to immediately drop a good 20-25 miles as soon as I hit the upward climb.

But all in all, it's a great commuter car with a nice look and feel.
...

mrlycus says "Free online trading on Zecco" about Zecco

Zecco is an online brokerage that I have been using for the past year. The greatest thing about it: 10 Free trades a month, so long as you have $2000 in cash/stock in your account. I believe this is the only online brokerage that does this.

However, there is one downside to this brokerage. At times, I have experienced trouble accessing my account, probably because too many people are trying to access Zecco at once. So if you are a serious trader, or a day trader, you might want to choose a more reputable online brokerage that will be free of any downtime.

But if you are just an average investor and invest for fun and small gains, then Zecco is great for the no comission.
...

mrlycus says "Very useful GPS, but could be better" about Garmin - Nuvi 660

The Garmin Nuvi 660 is a good GPS in the sense that it will provide you with all the information to get from point A to point B. Also, the user interface is fairly simple and easy to learn for all users. Now on the downside, one thing I was disappointed with, is the very lacking POI database. I like how you can search for a place (example, a grocery store) by city, or based on your current location. However, the database is too limited. I tested this out in my area and obvious big chain grocery stores were not listed. Also, if you veer of course, it takes a while for the GPS to recalculate a new route, allowing to make even more mistakes, which forces the GPS to recalculate yet again. Another point, if you're thinking of subscribing for the traffic, this feature is useless. When I bought my GPS, it came with several months free. This feature did nothing for me and I live in the San Francisco area. In times of traffic, no indicator was on my GPS. However at times the...
...
