motherduck4 says "I absolutely LOVE this swing...it is the greatest thing ever!!" about Graco Lovin' Hug Baby Swing

This is the best swing I have ever used. I have had 4 altogether since I had my daughter almost 5 years ago. I have used the basic Graco swing and it doesnt come close to the quality of this one. I love that it was easy to put together, I didnt even need the instructions. I love that it has so many songs and nature sounds to keep baby happy. My son at 6 months weighed 24 lb...only 1 lb to go until he was too big for a regular swing. This one holds up to 30 lb, so it is still going strong and he will get quite a bit more use out of it.

I also love that it has 4 recline positions. My baby can lay down to sleep or sit straight up to eat or play with the toys. He actually likes to turn on his side and fall asleep, that is how roomy the swing is.

It has 15 songs and soothing nature sounds altogether. It has 6 speeds, a mobile that rotates with the swinging motion, and adorable toys on the tray. My son just loves the zebra that has a mirror inside and the little cow with rings on it. This swing...
...

motherduck4 says "This is the best thing I have bought yet!!" about Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Mobile

The Fisher Price Ocean Wonders mobile is really the best thing I have bought ever. My son just loves it. I have been able to put him to bed awake and this wonderful mobile puts him right to sleep, or at least really entertains him until he drifts off.

First, it has lights that project onto the ceiling in the patterns of fish, bubbles and swirls. Lullabies and soothing fishy sounds play as colorful fish float overhead. In the crib baby can play with the squishy pad fishbowl. Once baby is bigger, the mobile converts to sit on top of a dresser, so baby can still be entertained.

I love the remote so you can keep the music going without baby seeing you sneak in to turn it back on. It hangs on the doorknob for convenience.

I must say as much as I love this, there are a couple of things I dislike. For starters, the music doesnt play very long, I timed it and it is just over 5 minutes or so. Another thing, is when you need to change the batteries, you have to take the whole mobile off of the...
...

motherduck4 says "I returned it...dont like it at all compared to the Graco swings" about Fisher Price Rainforest Cradle Swing

I'd have to say I am neutral about the Fisher Price Rainforest Open Top swing. I did not like it...but I did not hate it either. I bought this swing for my son after using a Graco swing for my daughter. The things I liked about this swing were that it has 6 speeds and 12 songs...in a variety of soothing and playful depending on the mood of your baby. I like that the swing swivels to swing front to back and side to side. My son really liked the mobile. I also loved the fact that you could choose AC or battery power, that was very convenient.

Now the things I did not like. As soon as I put it together it just seemed to be made very cheaply. The seat itself was made of thin flimsy plastic (compared to other swings). It had 6 speeds, but even on the highest it did not swing very high. The seat has 2 positions, up and recline. It reclined nicely but did not sit up very far. My son is large and active so he was constantly trying to be sitting up. Even at 4 months old. My son was not very...
...

motherduck4 says "The only nursing pads I'll ever use again!" about Johnson's Nursing Pads

I just love Johnsons Nursing Pads. I used just about every other brand of nursing pads and hated them all. Then I tried Johnsons and fell in love with them immediately! They are thick enough to absorb very well, but dont show through. They are contoured so they fit perfectly. There is a unique nipple indentation for comfort. They do not have a plastic liner, so they are breathable and they do not trap moisture against your already sore skin. They are quiet, rustle free material and very descreet to wear. They have an adhesive strip and they stay in place very well. They are great for day or night wear. I like that they come stacked in the box instead of each one folded individually like most nursing pads are, illiminating the crease that shows through your shirt. The edges are very soft and comfortable. I have heard some people complain of gel or fibers being left on your nipple, I personally never had that problem. The only thing I could possibly say negative about this product is that...
...

motherduck4 says "My sons FAVORITE toy!!" about Fisher Price Go Baby Go! Crawl-Along Musical Ball

I absolutely LOVE the Go Baby Go! Crawl-Along Ball. It is a bright orange and blue plastic ball with a monkey on top. When you roll the ball, it plays fun music and the monkey balances on top. When the ball is stationary and you bat at the monkey, baby is rewarded with one of 2 fun tunes and 3 sound effects. I just love the monkeys laugh!! It really is my sons favorite toy. It encourages sitting and hand-eye coordination. Before he started crawling it was great to just sit in his lap. He would bat at the monkey and see that the music came on. Now that he started crawling, he pushes it and follows it accross the room! It keeps him entertained for quite some time. The monkey on top is soft enough that it doesnt hurt him when he chews on it. The music keeps his attention, but isnt too loud. It does have the handy on/off feature that is nice for when you just really dont want to hear the music, but baby can still play with the ball. I would recommend getting this for your child when he is...
...

motherduck4 says "The Galloping Fun Jumperoo kept my baby laughing for hours!!" about Fisher Price Galloping Fun Jumperoo

The Galloping Fun Jumperoo is absolutely FABULOUS!! It makes horsey animal sounds and galloping sounds when baby jumps and plays western themed music. There are 2 volume levels, and you can choose to have the music play long or short. There are 3 height adjustments. My son started using it when he was 3 months old and he has loved it ever since. He loved to just sit in it when he was smaller, and my daughter loved to push him back and forth in it, now that he is 7 months old he is jumping like crazy! He has yet to get bored with it like the other toys we have. He usually jumps and laughs until he falls asleep, he just loves it. He is learning cause and effect relationships while gaining upper body control. There is a bead bar, mirror, and spinning toy that keeps him busy. I like that they are simple toys, and the soft ears and mane are nice for them to feel and chew on. The seat comes off for easy washing, it is machine washable. My only complaint is that it takes up alot of floor space...
...

motherduck4 says "I am not a big fan of the Evenflo 8 ounce glass baby bottles. " about Evenflo 8 ounce glass bottle Baby Bottle

I really did not like the Evenflo 8 ounce glass baby bottle. I really love the fact that it is large enough to comfortably make 8 ounces, unlike other 8 ounce bottles that you have to mix the formula in another container. I do not like the fact that they leak. I have even switched the nipples with other brands of nipple and they still leak. They leak from under the ring. Some bottles that leak, if you loosten or tighten the cap they stop, these did not. I do like the rubber sleeve that comes on them. It makes it very easy to hold and the fact that it has spaces to see the ounces is very convenient. It is also nice because the glass bottles are heavy and it makes it easier for the baby to hold onto. It is easy to keep ahold of. I do not think I would recommend this particular bottle to my friends or family. I have used other brands of glass bottles and I loved them. I think I would like this bottle if it did not leak.
...
