morningangel513 says "Like a Magic Eraser in a Jar!!" about Bare Escentuals Multi Tasking Mineral Concealer in Bisque

If you are looking for a concealer that will really conceal and make your flaws/imperfections disppear, then you need to try Bare Escentuals Multi Tasking Minerals in Bisque.

I am a 30 year old mom that is still suffering with acne even after 15 years. I have used all the products you could find at the drugstore. I have used every concealer on the market and nothing compares to this Bisque.

There are different shades of Bisque, this refers to the regular which has a pinkish undertone. Summer Bisque has a more yellow undertone.

Using the maximum coverage concealer brush, pick up a small amount of product and tap it onto the area you wish to cover. I swear, it disappears right in front of you!! I actually use this as foundation over top of an application of mineral veil. Add a bit of blush and I can have that near perfect complexion I've always wanted.

If you have bumps, it doesn't help the bumps. But if your bumps are red, it will work for that. It helps conceal the bumps so someone would...
...

morningangel513 says "Much better than the original!" about Bare Escentuals Bare Escentuals BareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush with Mineral Veil

Bare Escentuals BareMinerals Refillable Buffing Brush with Mineral Veil is the newest version from Bare MInerals. The original brush, as read in other reviews, isn't that great.

This brush is a shiny new pinkish red color, supposedly limited edition, and comes prefilled with original mineral veil. I must admit, I was hesitant to buy this one because of the problems I had with the original black one. But, I went to Sephora and tried it out before buying. The powder comes out of the brush head much better and in a greater quantity than the original.

Like the original, this brush comes with the clear jar that screws into the bottom of the brush. It is already filled with original Mineral Veil. After twisting the bottom 'open' or a little past open, turn the brush upside down and give it a few good shakes and/or taps on your hand until you see powder on the tips of the brush. You can then apply it to your face, or turn the brush to the 'buff' position which brings the brush head down to a...
...

morningangel513 says "Miracle in a Jar - No Joke!" about Bare Escentuals Rareminerals Skin Revival Treatment Night Light By Bare Escentuals

This is my second purchase of Rare Minerals Night Treatment. The first time I purchased, I got the clear, which still had some color and provided some coverage. I did not see the results I thought I was looking for with that 1st purchase.

However, after reading review after review after review, all glowing - I decided to give it another try. I had a 20% off coupon from Ulta and was able to use that coupon to purchase the full size RMNT in the Light color - I planned to use it as foundation. I figured if it was so great, I could use it at night and during the day.

So I purchased. The first night, I used the puff that comes on top of the jar. You're supposed to click the jar to 'open' turn it upside down and tap it on your hand until the powder comes through the puff, then lightly rub it on your face. Another 'must' is that you should do this immediately before going to sleep, because that's when the ingredients do their work, while your skin is repairing itself.

I expect miracles for my...
...

morningangel513 says "Trustworthy, Timely Service, Honest" about Goodyear Auto Service Center - Pittsburgh, PA

I own a 2004 Chrysler Sebring that recently requires some extensive work. I took my car to Goodyear Auto Service in Robinson and have been nothing but happy with the work they did. Being a woman, it's hard to find a good service center that cares and won't take advantage of you. My car required a new windshield due to a crack/chip. They don't do that kind of work there but they recommended someone that does and that they are familiar with. That glass service came to the shop and installed the windshield without me having to be there. Goodyear also replaced brakes/rotors, a new engine thermostat, did an oil change, cleaned the back brakes, inspection/emissions and new wiper blades.

Dan was super nice and called me a couple times while my car was there to keep me updated on what was going on. I never felt taken advantage of and will always take my car back there.

The only complaint I have, which is probably true for any car repair shop, is that the labor for all the work done cost more than...
...

morningangel513 says "Miracle Product that actually works" about Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals - Renew & Reveal

I was skeptical about this product, Bare Minerals Renew and Reveal Cleanser, because it's a powder and I couldn't figure out how it could work. But I heard such great things about it that I had to give it a try. I'm a 30 year old woman that has been suffering from acne for about 15 or so years. Within a week of using this product, I noticed a considerable difference in my skin. It was softer, smoother and I noticed less reddening and spots. I don't know if it was solely responsible for clearing up my acne, but it doesn't matter - it's gone and that's all that matters.

This bottle lasts for at least 3 months but I only use it in the mornings. I keep it in the shower with no problems, and sprinkle a bit into the palm of my hand. I use the other hand to drip a bit of water into the powder to mix it up before spreading it on my face. If you use less water, it feels more like a scrub which helps to exfoliate and slough off the skin. It feels so good to use as a scrub; it doesn't scratch! There...
...

I am a Bare Minerals user, though not an addict like some others. My typical routine is mineral veil and bisque. I have always thought the product didn't last on my skin like it does on others, so I was looking for a way to carry my minerals with me without making a mess in my purse. Then this brush came out and I was in heaven!! Finally, a way to carry my minerals in my purse without spiling and it came with a brush!!

This brush is black and has a clear jar thing that unscrews from the bottom of the brush. It also comes with a scooper so you can easily transfer your minerals from the jar to the brush. I lost the scoop after the first use. Once the minerals are in the little jar and screwed back in, you take the lid off the top of the brush and twist up until the brush is open. Then you're supposed to turn the brush upside down and shake it to get the powder to come through the little tube into the brush. You're supposed to tap it on your hand to disperse the powder through the bristles....
...

I've been a fan of SugarLand since the beginning and have looked forward to this release for many months!! Love on the Inside - Deluxe Fan Edition is fabulous!! If you are a fan already, you will not be disappointed. If you are NOT a fan - first I ask, why not?! But, get this cd and you will become instantly hooked. Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are fun, energetic and wonderful songwriters and performers.

morningangel513 says "Minty Fresh Breath Lasts and Lasts - Sort of" about Crest Extra White Plus Scope Outlast

I'd been seeing the commercials for Crest toothpaste with Scope Outlast. In those commercials, the man and woman brush their teeth in the morning and several hours later their breath is still as fresh as when they first brushed. I have been looking for a toothpaste that would do just that, so I went to my local wal-mart and picked up a tube.

Upon first brush, the toothpaste was very tingly but not unbearably so. It provided nice bubbles, if that's what you like. It also tasted very minty but not gross, more like a nice peppermint flavor. When finished I noticed my breath was definitely fresher, and my mouth felt cleaner - like I'd just been to the dentist.

About an hour later that happy feeling was gone. There was no more fresh breath and no more tingly feeling. I'm not exactly sure how many hours this toothpaste is supposed to last, but it definitely does not seem to "outlast" anything.

It seems to me if you want the minty fresh feeling to last all day, you'll either have to brush your...
...

morningangel513 says "THE most disgusting thing I have ever eaten" about Hormel Compleats Microwave Meals

In an effort to stop eating the nasty food my workplace provides, I decided I would brown bag my own lunch. At least then I would know what I am eating. These Hormel Compleats were on sale at the local WalMart so I picked up 3.

This review is for the Cheese Manicotti with meat sauce. The picture looks quite appetizing, and promises to be ready in 90 seconds.

Once you peel back the plastic that covers the food, it still looks appetizing. Then you taste it. The manicotti "noodles" are chewy, yet mushy with absolutely no taste. The little meatballs leave an aftertaste that is unpleasant (what kind of preservatives are in here that lets MEAT sit unrefrigerated?!). I'm not sure I would even call those little things meat. The sauce could use some salt and it might be edible.

My biggest complaint is the texture of the manicotti noodles. They are horrible. I could only choke down one before I threw the rest in the garbage.

I also question the health factor for these little dishes. 290 calories...
...

morningangel513 says "Never Let Them See You Shine stops the oil slick " about Philosophy Never Let Them See You Shine Cleanser

For the past year, I have been using another line of mineral cleanser, moisturizer and makeup. In today's economy I couldn't afford to replenish when I ran out. Since I've always seen Philosophy's products on QVC, I thought I would give it a try. I went to my local Sephora and checked out Never Let Them See You Shine.

I have extremely oily skin. I can wash my face in the morning and by the time I'm ready to leave the house my face is already shiny. I have suffered from severe breakouts for 15 years and nothing has worked for me. This product, while I'm not sure it has any acne clearing ingredients, certainly helps control the oil factor!!

The product is $20 for a large tube. It's very, very thick and smells..minty. It gives your skin a tingly feeling and is left feeling completely clean, although a little tight - nothing a dab of moisturizer won't take care of though!!

My skin makes it almost 8 hours before it starts to get shiny again, which is great for me!!

This is a warning to all consumers who may get an auto loan through Chrysler Financial. I bought a car in 2005 and was financed through them. Typically, there have not been any problems. Until now

I made my last car payment at the end of August. Chrysler Financial took it upon themselves to steal an extra car payment from my account. The payment I made was scheduled for 8/28. On 8/31, when I checked the bank to be sure it was paid, there were two charges from Chrysler Financial taken from my bank account.

I called Chrysler Financial on 8/31, and they told me they only had one payment showing in their records and it must be a bank error. I went to the bank and tried to fix the problem, but through their process it would have taken 2 weeks to get anything done. They suggested I try Chrysler Financial again. So I did, and this time they showed 2 payments in their records.

I informed them that I only authorized one payment and by them taking the second, my account was left with a negative balance....
...

This is a warning to all parents out there who may want to shop at Once Upon a Child in Robinson.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!

This is NOT a review of the entire Once Upon a Child chain, just for the particular store in Robinson. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

The staff there are incredibly rude and disrespectful. They supposedly accept gently used children and baby clothing of any "brand name" and they will pay you a small amount in return. They claim to take any label, as long as it is gently worn. No holes, no stains--stuff you would expect to buy for your own child. It's definately better and cheaper than paying full price at Target, Old Navy, The Children's Place, Gymboree, etc.

However, I took a storage container, a box and basket FULL of clothing belonging to my 2 year old daughter. Some of the clothing was never worn, with tags still attached! They did not accept any of it--telling me that the clothing was dirty, torn and in poor condition. The tags were still on!!

I would have......

I found this site via cafemom.com, and have found it to be a very good site to store my favorite music in one place without having to buy it!

You can search by artist or title and add the song to your playlist just by clicking the plus sign--it's that simple! You can also rearrange the order of songs on your list, change the music player colors and customize it to match whatever site you're using it on.

Some downsides: searching for songs may get you some false advertising! I saved a song to my list that I thought was by a certain artist and after listening to the song, it was not by that artist at all!! Also, it appears that most of the songs come from other websites--which you can click on--and sometimes the websites either take the songs down or they just don't work anymore. So, a song you love may not be around for long. I had one song on my playlist that was removed from the site and now I can't find it anymore.

Overall, a decent site to keep your music organized and in one place, for......

Bare Minerals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy is the best thing to hit the acne market since.....well, nothing can compare!!

I have been searching and searching for an acne product that would actually work, especially for skin that is growing older. Most of the products in the skin care aisle are geared towards teenage and young adult skin. I could find nothing--absolutely nothing that would work for my skin.

I had tried the Bare Minerals foundations before and liked them well enough. My skin is so tempermental that I figured this new product wouldn't work either. But, being a desperate almost 30 something mother, I bought it. I was not happy with the price--$28 but like the original Bare Minerals products, it seems to last forever!!

This product comes in a little jar with it's own little applicator brush. After buying, I went straight home and washed my face. The directions state you can apply it to just the pimple itself or if you are like me and have breakouts all over, you can apply......

I have been eyeing the Swiffer Sweep & Vac for several months, but with a $30 price tag I was a bit skeptical. I finally broke down and bought one after walking by it 3 different times in the store, on purpse ;)

I brought it home, charged it up for 12 or so hours and was able to clean the whole house before the charge gave out!! When I say whole house, I mean kitchen and dining room, living room, hallway, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. I was impressed when I walked back through the house with bare feet and didn't get little crumbs stuck to me--especially in the kitchen!!

It picks up larger food pieces very well, like cheerios and cracker bits. Whatever it doesn't pick up gets stuck to the dry cleaning cloth. The collection chamber pops out to allow for emptying. There is a filter in the collection chamber that you can also pop out. I think the only part I don't like is pulling hairs and dust off the filter in the collection pot, but I'll take it compared to the alternative of sweeping stuff into......

morningangel513 says "Finally! A product that works!" about Mary Kay Blemish Control Toner Formula 3

I am almost 30 years old and have been plagued with acne for almost half that time. I've tried every product on the market, and none of them have worked. Until now. Mary Kay makes products for sufferers of acne. This toner does not dry out my skin, does not smell harsh and does not burn or sting. It has prevented new breakouts and cleared up the old ones. I will never, EVER use another product....

morningangel513 says "This vacuum sucks--and I don't mean that in a good way!" about Eureka Altima Vacuum

We bought this vacuum about 3 months ago. We figured the brand name meant it was a good buy for $80. Were we ever wrong! It worked great the 1st time, but that was it. There is absolutely no suction, dirt and larger pieces fly out the back. When upright to use the attachments, dirt comes out the bottom and pools under the vac. The filter becomes clogged with dirt and dust way too fast, and the dirt in the canister doesn't spin around like it should.
This vacuum is absolutely horrible, and I can't wait to get another one to really clean the house.
...

morningangel513 says "Is this real shampoo?" about Burt's Bees Very Volumizing Pomegranate and Soy Shampoo

I recently purchased the Burts Bees Baby Bees shampoo and body wash and loved it. I thought I would try the "adult" shampoo figuring it would be great too.

I admit the fragrance is wonderful but I was disappointed overall. The shampoo doesn't make a rich lather like I am used to but perhaps that is due to the more natural ingredients. My hair also feels extremely greasy and limp after use.

I am willing to give it one more try, but I have to say I am disappointed.
...

morningangel513 says "No Good Rewards" about Pampers Gifts to Grow Program

I was so excited to start collecting points with the Pampers Gifts to Grow program. I was very diligent about entering the point codes from every single pampers product I could get my hands on.

Then I went and checked out the "rewards catalog." There is nothing good there!!
A few toys for a young baby, lots of coupons for a website that I would never use, and nothing useful for a toddler.

Extremely disappointed with this program and wishing Pampers would add some nicer, better things!

I've collected a ton of points and don't have anything to do with them.
...
