morningangel513 says "Where have you been all my life??" about Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Blemish Therapy

Bare Minerals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy is the best thing to hit the acne market since.....well, nothing can compare!! — — I have been searching and searching for an acne product that would actually work, especially for skin that is growing older. Most of the products in the skin care aisle are geared towards teenage and young adult skin. I could find nothing--absolutely nothing that would work for my skin. — — I had tried the Bare Minerals foundations before and liked them well enough. My skin is so tempermental that I figured this new product wouldn't work either. But, being a desperate almost 30 something mother, I bought it. I was not happy with the price--$28 but like the original Bare Minerals products, it seems to last forever!! — — This product comes in a little jar with it's own little applicator brush. After buying, I went straight home and washed my face. The directions state you can apply it to just the pimple itself or...

morningangel513 says "Where has this been all my life?!" about Swiffer Sweep + Vac

I have been eyeing the Swiffer Sweep & Vac for several months, but with a $30 price tag I was a bit skeptical. I finally broke down and bought one after walking by it 3 different times in the store, on purpse ;) — — I brought it home, charged it up for 12 or so hours and was able to clean the whole house before the charge gave out!! When I say whole house, I mean kitchen and dining room, living room, hallway, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. I was impressed when I walked back through the house with bare feet and didn't get little crumbs stuck to me--especially in the kitchen!! — — It picks up larger food pieces very well, like cheerios and cracker bits. Whatever it doesn't pick up gets stuck to the dry cleaning cloth. The collection chamber pops out to allow for emptying. There is a filter in the collection chamber that you can also pop out. I think the only part I don't like is pulling hairs and dust off the filter in the collection pot, but I'll take it compared...

I am almost 30 years old and have been plagued with acne for almost half that time. I've tried every product on the market, and none of them have worked. Until now. Mary Kay makes products for sufferers of acne. This toner does not dry out my skin, does not smell harsh and does not burn or sting. It has prevented new breakouts and cleared up the old ones. I will never, EVER use another product....

morningangel513 says "This vacuum sucks--and I don't mean that in a good way!" about Eureka Bagless Altima

We bought this vacuum about 3 months ago. We figured the brand name meant it was a good buy for $80. Were we ever wrong! It worked great the 1st time, but that was it. There is absolutely no suction, dirt and larger pieces fly out the back. When upright to use the attachments, dirt comes out the bottom and pools under the vac. The filter becomes clogged with dirt and dust way too fast, and the dirt in the canister doesn't spin around like it should. — This vacuum is absolutely horrible, and I can't wait to get another one to really clean the house. —...

morningangel513 says "Is this real shampoo?" about Burt's Bees Very Volumizing Pomegranate and Soy Shampoo

I recently purchased the Burts Bees Baby Bees shampoo and body wash and loved it. I thought I would try the "adult" shampoo figuring it would be great too. — — I admit the fragrance is wonderful but I was disappointed overall. The shampoo doesn't make a rich lather like I am used to but perhaps that is due to the more natural ingredients. My hair also feels extremely greasy and limp after use. — — I am willing to give it one more try, but I have to say I am disappointed. —...

I was so excited to start collecting points with the Pampers Gifts to Grow program. I was very diligent about entering the point codes from every single pampers product I could get my hands on. — — Then I went and checked out the "rewards catalog." There is nothing good there!! — A few toys for a young baby, lots of coupons for a website that I would never use, and nothing useful for a toddler. — — Extremely disappointed with this program and wishing Pampers would add some nicer, better things! — — I've collected a ton of points and don't have anything to do with them. —...

Do you love to scrapbook? Do you ever find yourself with no time? This is the perfect site for you! — — How Fast They Grow is a digital scrapbook site that allows you to upload your own photos, then select from a variety of backgrounds and layouts. This site will put your pages together, and for a small fee ($7.50/page) they will ship your pages to you! — — You can then put the pages in your own scrapbook, or you can purchase a beautiful scrapbook from the How Fast They Grow store! — — The only drawback is that the pages only come in 12 x 12, so if you like making smaller scrapbooks, you will not be happy with this. But, for those of you who love scrapbooking but can never find the time, I would check this site...

I never thought I would shop in a store like Lany Bryant. I guess at first I was in denial that I needed a "plus-size" store. But, one day I broke down and went in. I needed jeans that actually fit. — — The Right Fit pant line from Lane Bryant is fabulous! They stretch, they come in a couple different colors and lengths, and the best thing of all? They come in "small" sizes--no more shopping for a size 20 or 24 or whatever. These jeans come in sizes 4 or 5 for example! That's a real confidence booster even if it is the equivalent of the larger size. — — The sales people at Lane Bryant are extremely helpful and friendly. I also needed to be fitted for a bra. I usually don't like being measured for those things, especially by a skinny minny little blonde girl. Most of the gals at Lane Bryant are bigger themselves, so they know what it's like. I never imagined I would have a sales person in the dressing room with me, lifting and measuring!! But, it worked and...

Well, now you can find out all things celeb/baby related that you ever wanted to know, and some you didn't! — — This is the best website to see pictures and read stories of your favorite celebrity babies, as well as learn a few things for your own kids! — — My favorite thing to do is check out the new, sometimes odd names celebs give their kids these days. Suri? Shiloh? Daisy True? The surprises are always plentiful on the Celebrity Baby Blog. — — Not only can you see pictures, read stories and learn new names, but you can also check out and be quite envious of the stuff celebs buy for their kids.

The only reason I have comcast service is because I have no other choice. I despise comcast and cannot wait to kick them to the curb. — — My service is constantly turned off for non-payment, yet I have yet to receive a paper bill. I never enrolled in online billing--as a matter of fact, I don't get online bills either! I have to call the automated service line once a month to find out when my payments are due, and the amount. I always manage to miss the deadline. — — I cannot make payments over the phone, because comcast refused to link my old account with the new one after I moved. So I am also forced to pay the $4 service charge for talking with a person. — — comcast has also decided to require a subscription to additional services in order to use the on-demand features. Previously, my family was able to enjoy family friendly programming via on-demand, now a subscription to tubenet is required. — — The price of service is...

I have such an intense dislike for all things Comcast. While the 'high speed' interent is certainly fast, the connection requires resetting at LEAST 10 times a day. Every time I call them, they claim there is nothing wrong with their service, it must be on my end. Even the technician that came to check things out, from comcast, told me it was a problem with the connection outside. Their fix was to drag a cable wire from the neighbor's house, across both our driveways and into my connection box to 'fix' the problem. — — I was told by comcast 'when we have someone available to bury the wire, we will.' I was called by comcast at one point and told that someone would be by to take care of things in one of their infamous 4 hour windows. I waited....and waited....and waited...and waited while the window of time came and went. I called back and was told that 'actually, I don't need to be there when they come since they are doing things outside.' Great! — — No one...

morningangel513 says "Works Better than Most" about Philosophy Acne Kit

I have been suffering from acne since I was 14 years old. I am now 28, and have not found a single product that begins to help with my problem. I've tried every single over the counter product made; they are either too harsh for my skin or just simply don't work. Prescription measures aren't an option due to insurance reasons, so I pretty much gave up on ever having clear, pretty skin. — — I tried this product on a whim, and to my surprise it actually works--sort of. It's a 4 step process that starts with a cleanser. The cleanser doesn't have an unpleasant scent, is not harsh or drying and leaves my skin feeling clean. The next step is the exfoliator gel. Again, no unpleasant scent and no drying. It does feel a bit strange when it dries, but it comes in a super fun bottle!! The 3rd step is the 'sanitizing' product, which contains hydrogen peroxide. Once again, no unpleasant scent and no drying. The final product that comes in the kit is the protecting lotion. This lotion...

I've been using Snapfish on a recommendation from a friend, and I haven't used another photo service in years. They have high quality photo paper, they are clear and vibrant. Snapfish is also the cheapest online photo service I have found, and if you have a coupon code they are even cheaper! I just ordered several poster collage prints for holiday gifts, as well as holiday photo cards.

I was so excited to buy this product. I'd done some research and all the reviews were good for the Hip Hammock. I bought it the day before we were going to a festival and would be doing tons of walking. My daughter can walk on her own but is too young for that type of event to be on her own. She loves to be carried so she can see what's going on. — — Wearing the Hip Hammock was so uncomfortable! Maybe it's because I am a plus sized mom to begin with, but by the time we left my back was aching so badly that I couldn't put my daughter in her car seat. I couldn't adjust it to make it more comfortable; when I tried, my daughter screamed and clung to my shirt.
We were not given any type of pacifier from the hospital, so I had a pile of various ones to choose from. My daugther didn't seem to be very picky, until we got a green Soothie in the package with a Soothie bottle. My daughter has not used another binky since!! We've tried the pink ones, blue ones and green ones. She dislikes them all but the green, and likes to carry one in each hand plus the one in her mouth!! We've been so desperate at times to find them after she's thrown them (because they bounce!) that we've had to make a walmart or target run in the middle of the night (yes, we were that desperate). Currently, we have a stockpile of about 10 of these magical binkys and there doesn't seem to be any sign of her giving it up anytime soon....she's almost...

We bought this "toy" for my daughter's 1st birthday. She is not interested in the television at all, and will not sit still long enough to play with this one. She shows brief interest when mom plays with it, but it doesn't hold her attention nearly long enough. After one time through all the activities, it's quite boring. — — Also, my daughter had more fun pulling the docking station along like a pull toy. She enjoyed pushing the on/off button to make the blue light glow. After several months of this, she must have pulled the wire lose, because now there is a short in the wire and it can't be played on the tv anymore. — — Overall, I would not recommend getting this toy for your kids. —...

My daughter received this toy as a gift last Christmas, when she was just a couple months old. Obviously, the fun was lost on her until she could sit up and crawl on her own. She had fun watching mom put the balls in and chase them all over the house again. Now that she's walking, she has more fun putting the balls in the hole (along with everything else that will fit in there!) She likes to reach into the top and grab the stuff back out. She's never gotten her hand stuck, so that's a good thing!! She hides her binkys down in the hole and thinks it's real funny to watch mom search high and low for the bink when she knows where it is the whole time! :-) — — When the batteries are fresh, the balls definitely shoot all over the place, but as the batteries wear down it seems to quiet a bit, and we don't have to hunt for the balls as much. Also, the fan just quit working (due to batteries). — — Overall, it's a fun toy that we've played with for a good long time....
