morestuff4me says "State Farm refuses to pay at fault claims" about State Farm

My son was a passenger in a truck. The driver who was insured by State Farm, lost control of the truck, ran off the road, the truck rolled over three times and my son was thrown out of the truck. The top of his femur was broken and dislocated from the hip. He had two surgeries and was in the hospital for ten days. He was 22 years old when this happened and the orthopedic doctor has said he will need a hip replacement at some point. This was a single car accident. State Farm claims their insured driver was not at fault and refuses to pay my son's medical bills. If the driver lost control of the car in a single car accident, you tell me who was at fault if not the driver. Certainly not my son who was the passenger that was thrown from the car. Yet my son's credit is ruined and he is hounded by bill collectors. I strongly advise you never to consider State Farm for your auto insurance. I also advise you not to be a passenger in any auto covered by State Farm....

morestuff4me says "Handy if you are a US traveler" about Garmin - Nuvi 660 GPS Receiver

The Garmin nuvi 660 is a great device as long as you are only traveling in the U.S. World maps are available for purchase but in my view are greatly overpriced. For what you pay for the Garmin 660, world maps should be included. The Garmin user site is not easy to navigate and it is not imediately clear which accessories go with which model. With all that said, I'm still happy with the product. The Bluetooth alone is worth a lot. No more fumbling to make or answer calls while driving. I like the slim design that fits easily into a purse. Would I buy this model again? Probably not. I would go with one that has globle...
