mommyof2inmi says "Good movie for families with school age children." about Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! (2008)

I am VERY careful about what I allow my children to watch. They don't see a lot of television, and what they do is PBS. Most movies have too much violence or name calling or other bad themes. This movie was okay. It did scare my daughter a little (she is 4 yrs old) and didn't keep her attention as well as Wall-E did. She also did not like the Kangaroo who treated her child very poorly and was mean to other characters. I also did not like that they made a crack on homeschoolers-- "Pouch-schooling"

I think this movie would be best for children a little older, maybe 6 and up. They need to be able to follow a lot of dialogue. I would also be aware of some scary scenes and poor treatment of kind characters, especially for children that are more sensitive.

Bright animation and lovable main characters.
...

mommyof2inmi says "Small for a double and looks great!" about Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller

I wanted something that could hold a larger second child and this stroller could do it and looked great. We ordered it and have never been sorry we did. My 4 yr old can still ride in this stroller and has plenty of room. The only thing is the shade on the front is kind of low and she is tall, so we take it off if we are going in the mall so she has more room. The cupholders are removable for washing and there is storage for all your stuff-- even a great compartment on top for your keys and such! It doesn't take up much more space in my trunk than the graco travel system we have and is much lighter than most of my friends double strollers.

This stroller washes up easy. It folds down with one hand and I can navigate with it fairly easily. I also love that the infant seat goes in the back near you and can also be a bassinet type seat. It made me feel safe to have my daughter close to me. If she fell asleep, I could pull up her infant seat shade and the stroller shade and it...
...

mommyof2inmi says "Great once you get it together" about Pampered Chef Cutting Edge Food Chopper

I am a HUGE fan of Pampered Chef products and I used to sell them. This food chopper has lasted me many years and is still chopping well. I love that it turns by itself to chop evenly and that it stores with a cover on it-- like most sharp Pampered Chef products.

What I don't like is that after you take it apart-- which only takes a second-- it takes a LOT longer to put back together. The sharp zig zag blade is very difficult to get through the plastic zig zag hole of the holder piece. I am always afraid I will cut myself.
...

mommyof2inmi says "Great everyday moisturizer with SPF." about Dove Sensitive Skin Facial Lotion

I love this moisturizer because it is light and not greasy and it has sun protection built in. It also smells wonderful. It is a great everyday product and I feel protected if I go outside. I still use something stronger for my eyes and about once a week for my whole face. But this gets me through the week well....

mommyof2inmi says "Don't buy any other forward facing seat-- this one lasts forever" about Britax Regent

My oldest is 4 yrs and before she turned three, we knew she'd need a new seat soon. I didn't want her in a booster seat-- I wanted something with a 5 pt harness that was safer. I also wanted something comfortable for long rides. My pediatrician recommended this seat. When we got it, we were surprised how large it is-- it is the size of our captains chairs. BUT, it is just as comfortable as the seats in our van. It is well padded and the suede like material cleans easy (we have had ketchup to chocolate milk and they still look new), is never hot or cold to sit on, and my girls can ride in them for hours on long trips and they are never uncomforable.

When my youngest was ready to trade up to a toddler carseat, I took one look at the thinly padded, plastic molded seat our oldest had used for a while and ordered the Regent for her too. Now the girls sit in the back bench seat in their matching Britax Regent Madison seats. We get lots of compliments on them.

The best thing...
...

mommyof2inmi says "Great Buy! Saves money and time and does a great job!" about Whirlpool Duet Dryer

I LOVE this dryer! It can handle big comforters and more delicate things. It always dries well and the best part it-- it weighs the load and has a dry sensor. So it works as long as it needs to to get the job done and not any longer. I also love that you can stack it with the washer or buy a folding top. Makes it well worth the investment!!...
