I like their phones, I like their plans, but I almost left them recently. All of a sudden I stopped receiving service in my area. Everyone with Alltel around me experienced the same problem I was having , so it wasn't just me. They said it was because they "bought their digital roaming services" from Verizon and they no longer were in partnership with them. BUT I was still being charged full service for a phone I could no longer use at my home. Not only that if the phone ran out of charge, I had to wait till I was in a digital area to get services back like my Text Messaging, Alarm Clock, etc. I called and I went into the offices many times and they kept promising me it would improve, to give it time. Two months later and tonight I am finally able to call out from my house, tomorrow may be a different story. But I'm sticking to Alltel until they tell me they can no longer service my area at all. It's been a family tradiation for years. Our family comes from all directions and meet here because the staff is friendly, the housekeeping staff is terrific and always helpful. The restaurant in this hotel is the best on the boardwalk! Best Primerib & Shrimp special around for your money. Just remember the rooms are either Oceanfront or Oceanview. There is a difference here. We've stayed the last 5 years on the 6th floor South and LOVED it. — Only con's are in May the outside pool is very cold and the inside pool is across the street in a building and has been very cold for the last two years. Oh and this year we won't be staying there because they raised the rates that weekend to $189 a night because of the Monster truck show that weekend. Before I type this , please let me state that I wrote Enterprise with this concern and NEVER received a reply back. My car needed to be in the shop for a week, my insurance set us up with Enterprise as we had used them in the past with good results. Now a few weeks before my time for a rental my daughter needed a rental also (her car backed into mine) and they gave her a PT Cruiser. I rode home with her and commented how it was hard for me to get in and out of it with the arthritis in my knees and hip and how I wouldn't be able to drive one of these. I requested then that I not be given a PT cruiser when my car went into the shop for repairs. They said NO Problem! I called and set up the date I needed a car and that friday before the Manager called and went over my rental. I told him my car was a full size car and I needed something like it because of my arthritis. I requested again No PT cruiser. He said No problem and said my car was full size, they would give... No problems what so ever on the way out. Attendants were very professional, curtious, and helpful. I didn't like that they would charge you $2.00 for earplugs to watch a movie and the movie they showed was nothing but I sales pitch for timeshares in Florida. I didn't buy the earplugs but I could see what was playing. My luggage arrived without any problems. I highly recommend using the check in at the terminal when you arrive and don't forget to tip. This is a lifesaver. Also have your ticket and use the Koisk, Much faster. — This was my first time flying. Not only does it have comfort, Style, Reliabilty, but it gets good good gas mileage for a full size car. I average 32 MPG on long trips and that's good . I recently had to put my MC in the body shop after someone hit it and I had to use a rental. Oh my aching back and knees getting in and out of those little rentals. My monte carlo never cramps my style, nor my back or knees either. I'm always comfortable on long or short trips. I love my Monte Carlo!...
