mockmom says "The only diaper that fit my child..." about Huggies Diapers (All Sizes)

When my second child was born, I tried all brands of diapers ~ Huggies, Pampers and Luvs. What I found out was that Huggies was the only brand that fit my child. She was oddly shaped and all the other diapers gapped and leaked on her. While Huggies can be a bit on the expensive side, you can call the company and they will send you multiple coupons. You can also buy them in bulk. One of the other pros to the Huggies brand is the fact that they also make an overnite diaper for infants who wet a lot. I love Huggies and am currently using them with my...

mockmom says "My skin looks 5yrs younger." about Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set

I started off using the Mary Kay skin care products about two years ago and found that I LOVED them. When they came out with the microdermabration set, I was eger to try it. It has worked better than I expected. My skin has gotten so much better since I started using it in combination with the Time-Wise cleanser and moisturizer along with the satin lips mask and lip balm. I have no more break-outs, smaller and refined pores, smoother and softer skin. My skin has even started looking younger to the point where people think I am 6yrs younger than I truly...

mockmom says "OMG I am addicted...." about Webkinz.com

I first heard about Webkinz from my daughter (8) when she came home from Girl Scouts a few months ago. I looked into the website and decided to get her a pet for her birthday later that month. We became so caught up with it that we were fighting over who was going to do what that I had to go and buy one for myself. The one con is the experation date but I figured if I buy one for Christmas and one for Easter then I am good. I love the fact that it is kid friendly and I don't worry about my child clicking on an ad and being taken to another part of the internet and seeing something she...

I bought this toy for my second child for her 1st birthday. She loved it so much that she would stand in front of the fridge for 20 mins at a time and play with it. By the time she was 18mo old, she could recite her ABC's. For educational toys, I always look to LeapFrog first before looking...

I bought one of these about 3 years ago for my then 5yr old and she loved it. I love the fact that it grows with the child (just get different books) and helps with hand/eye coordination and dexterity. Now that my child is getting older and ready for the next step, we are saving her Leap pad for her 3yr old sister who already has a My First Leap...

mockmom says "Best option but not the only option..." about Breastfeeding Opinion

I agree that breastfeeding is the most natural option for feeding your baby with tons of pros for both baby and mother. I nursed my first two children along with bottle/formula feeding (due to working and not having the opportunity/time to pump) and didn't have any major problems. When I gave birth to my 3rd child 2 months ago, I planned on nursing full time since I was now a SAHM. Well it turned out that this child just had too small of a mouth for a proper latch to my breast. After trying for 3 1/2 weeks and suffering through bleeding blisters on my nipples and crying over the loss, I gave up and moved to the bottle. We still bond by me holding her close and talking to her while she eats. Now Daddy and her 2 big sisters get to have the joy of feeding and bonding with her...

mockmom says "The only bottle I will ever use." about Avent Baby Bottles

I am an die-hard Avent product user because of the way their items are made for multiple purposes. I have nursed/bottlefed all 3 of my children and this is the only bottle I use because the nipple let me switch easily from breast to bottle and back again without any problems. The bottles are wide mouthed, easier to clean and fill and fit with the pumps perfectly. I am also impressed with the fact that the bottles can be turned into a sippy cup with just the change of a nipple and adding (or not) a handle. As for leaking, I found that if you dont over tighten the nipple ring then they dont leak. —...
