mnswimmer says "A great place to stay!" about Scottsdale Camelback Resort - Scottsdale, AZ, AZ

Scottsdale Camelback Resort is a great place to stay. Although it is not a huge resort, there are a variety of unit sizes (studio, 1BR, 2BR). Each unit has kitchen facilities and a fireplace. We stayed in a studio/loft unit. It was clean and convenient to the pool. The pool is a great size and the water was warm. They also have a nice size kiddie pool and hot tub. Tennis courts are available onsite also. There is a small restaurant /bar onsite alongside the pool. The resort has a nice variety of activities to choose from. It is close to shopping, golfing, and baseball spring training sites. They have people available to help plan your time away from the resort. We plan to stay there when we get to Arizona again. Would be a great place to have a smaller family reunion or business meeting. —...

mnswimmer says "Great program for organizing, editing, and enhancing photos." about Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0

Photoshop Elements 5.0 is a great program for organizing, editing, and enhancing photos. Pictures can be organized by date, person, activity. The original can be kept as well as the edited version. An example of editing or enhancing would be if you had a picture of the outside of your home that had phone wires hanging in front of it, you could take the phone lines out of the picture. Or if someone (a teenager) had zits on their face, they could be eliminated using the photoshop 5.0 program. Older, damaged pictures can be retouched or restored. I was able to do that with one of my dad's WW2 navy pictures. There are many other neat features to use. The 5.0 program allows a person to do more detailed fixing of pictures than Microsoft Office Picture Manager, but does take more time and practice to learn the program to use it efficiently. If you like to do more detail, then this program is for...

mnswimmer says "chop - grind - use " about Magic Bullet Blender - High Speed Mixing System

We love the Magic Bullet. It's easy to use and easy to clean. It's very portable - we take it along with us on vacations. Use for soups, smoothies, baby food, sauces and more. We like the different colored rings for the cups - that way everyone knows which cup is theirs. I like to make my smoothies up at home to take along to work. Makes an easy mid-morning...

mnswimmer says "Excellent quality - would never buy a different brand" about Cutco Knives

Cutco is not sold in stores. It is the best cutlery product on the market - far superior to other, oftentimes more expensive knives sold in upscale stores. It's a quality, lifetime product. Cutco has a "forever" guarantee that is the lifetime of each knife, not just the lifetime of the initial purchaser. They stand behind their product. The knives can be purchased individually or in different set combinations. The "trimmer" is my favorite knife. ...

mnswimmer says "Great camera for the price. Easy to use. Good quality pictures." about Canon - PowerShot A540 Digital Camera

Picture Perfect! Love it. I researched digital cameras on the internet before purchasing. I wanted a good quality without having to pay top dollar. The choice kept coming back to the Canon A540. The price was super and when we bought our camera we even got a free 512MB memory card. Our adult children were impressed with the quality of the camera for pictures and "movie mode". Their first question to me was - "Do you know how to use this thing?" It's easy to use. The megapixels and optical zoom are high enough to be able to get good quality prints. We also invested in a rechargeable battery pack. —...
