      <description>&lt;p&gt;We were two couples that visited Las Vegas in March 2008. This was the first visit for both of our wives. Both my friend and I called and asked for non-smoking rooms. This was about a month before we got there.&#160;The staff promised us non-smoking rooms.&#160;But when we got there, we were told if we wanted to move to the tower and get non-smoking rooms, we could upgrade for a price. I wonder if we got this treatment because we used priceline.com (which was not a whole lot cheaper than the price quoted by our travel agent). &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The rooms appeared tired - old furniture, washed out linen and a room right above the main course with loud noise, large screens and blaring sounds. To add to all of this, we lost power on Tuesday night for about three hours. Naturally the back-up generators kicked in within 20 seconds - in the lobby and in the casino areas. There were no emergency lights or any other power in our rooms. It caused a lot of inconvenience for folks, some of whom were trapped in elevators. There...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <title>mnmanna1 says "Pleasant experience in Las Vegas" about Hertz</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I booked a vehicle through Priceline.com for a visit to Las Vegas. We were two couples and we wanted it for the day to make a trip to the Hoover Dam and then check out downtown Vegas. The staff at the airport was very helpful and pleasant and the check-in counter whisked us to our car in about five minutes or less. The car was clean and well maintained. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The express checkout at the return area was also very quick and efficient. Overall, a very good rental experience. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
