mnasmom3 says "Great option for the budget traveler" about Disney's All - Star Sports Resort - Lake Buena Vista, FL

I have heard many a negative review of this resort. I was very reluctant to book our September 2007 trip at this resort and ended up very pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy. We arrived at a slower time of the day, so it was also quick. This resort is recently refurbished, so rooms are "new" again. Ours was nice, clean, and smoke free. This resort does lack some ammenities, but I knew this going in. It's very basic....but you get what you pay for. We spend very little time in our room, so we were fine with it. We found beds comfy, maid service great, and simple requests like extra towels were met daily. We were in the Touchdown building and had a quiet stay, but I can see it might get rowdy at times. Pools were nice. No towels provided poolside, though. You must take those from your room, be willing to wait for extra towels to be delivered, or get them from the front check in/service counter. There is one basic shop that has basic supplies and, of course, souveniers. ......

mnasmom3 says "You get what you pay for with this lackluster airline" about Spirit Airlines

I've flown Spirit several times. Each time is a different experience. The price is always great. More times than not, their fare beats all others leaving from Detroit Metro airport. They are a good choice if you're not set on specific travel dates and times. While they gave lower fares, the flight choice is more limited than other airlines. Booking is easy online. Nothing confusing about the web site. They do charge for checked baggage now. You can do that prepaid or at the airport, prepaid is cheaper. I prepaid when I booked. Even with that charge, it was still cheaper to use Spirit. Check in was easy. Many airports have kiosks to speed up check in. Those are very fast and easy to use even for the tech challenged. My flight times have been changed in the past, but it's usually only by minutes up to an hour or so. I do't worry so much about it. If you're prepared for changes and don't book so close to an important event, you have nothing to worry about. ......

mnasmom3 says "Great addictive fun!" about Nintendo Wii - Guitar Hero III

I was very anxious to try Guitar Hero III. A bit hard to find, but I managed. The game is a bit pricier than other wii games, but it's also got the accessory so I'd expect it to be more then the average $50 wii game. It does require a bit of very easy assembly, but it was ready to play in no time. Just snap the handle on and you're ready. The game has a tutorial that's very handy. Once you get the hang of that....LOOK OUT! You'll be a rock star in no time. It's hard to put this game down once you're pick up the guitar. It does require some coordination and skill through practice, so I don't recommend it for younger kids. My 10 year old plays on easy just fine and my 8 year old is getting the hang of it. My 6 year old wants badly to play, but gets frustrated. The guitar comes with an adjustable strap that's comfortable and easy to adjust. There are stickers to personalize the guitar. The game book is easy to read and understand. Even if you're not a rock fan,...
...

mnasmom3 says "Great family fun...even for non gamers!" about Nintendo Wii Console

I bought this game system on a whim. My 8 year old son is the one person in our family of 5 who enjoys video games....until now. I snuck it into the house when no one was home and hooked it up myself. I'm the type of person who is intimidated by technology, so this is an accomplishment. It was surprisingly easy to get hooked up. I even made it wifi with no help. Anyone can do the hook up. It's a fair value as far as systems go. The wifi capability is a great feature. You can also turn your tv into a digital photo frame by putting your camera card into the reader on the wii console. The game system for games.....I was surprised at how much my entire family enjoys the wii. It's got tons of fun, interactive play. No more sitting idle in front of the video game. I'd suggest closing the blinds before getting too enthusiastic with your wii. ;) There are games available for all ages and for all interests. The games are priced comparable to games for other systems. Renting......

mnasmom3 says "Love the mop, not the solution" about Swiffer WetJet®

I have been using this mopping system since it was marketed. I like the mop so much that I have 2. It's very strudy and works exactly like it's supposed too. The solution clicks right into and you're ready to go. No more reaching for more then one item to get the floor mopped. When the bottle is full, the mop can feel bulky at first, but it's really not a big issue. The ease of using this mop more than makes up for it. It's swiveling head is nice to get around table legs and corner. The second mop I own has a scrubber pad for more stubborn dirty spots. That works ok. The handle length is a perfect fit for me at my 5' 3" height and the button to squirt the solution is well placed. The hand portion of the handle is covered with a soft foamy cushioning making it comfy to use. It does take AA batteries, but doesn't use them up too fast. The solution itself does a good job and less seems to be more. When I got carried away with the solution, it put a film on the......
