mmc80 says "Imitrex has changed my life" about Imitrex

I have suffered from debilitating migraine headaches for many years. In the past I was unable to take most medications because the migraines make me nauseous. Imitrex has changed my life. I used to have to go to a dark quiet room , take medicine and try to sleep off the headache. Immitrex works more quickly if I lie down, but it is not necessary if it doesn't work after the first dose, you can take another dose. Ibuprofen may also be taken along with Imitrex. I used to lose days out of my life because of migraine headaches, now usually in about twenty minutes I am ready to face the day. Immitrex also is available in a generic form and I have not found any difference between the generic and name brand. Imitrex may also be taken by injection, but my physician recommended that the first dose be given in the doctor's office in case the blood pressure dropped which could cause fainting or any other side effects. The oral prescription works great for me with no side effects....
...

mmc80 says "Lucky I have a service plan" about GE Profile Refrigerator

This is the first negative comment I have made on this site, but I need to warn people not to purchase the GE Profile refrigerator/freezer. I have had the GE Profile refrigerator for over five years and it has only been trouble. I think sometimes I see the Sears repair man more than my family. The temperature is impossible to regulate. The first year we had this refrigerator it completely broke down and Sears had to reimburse us for the contents. The freezer temperature goes up and down so often the food is frost covered. This summer we had the same problem, but luckily I removed the food before it defrosted. In addition to the temperature regulation the interior is difficult to pack. The bulbs and the insulation are in the way when you want to put large bottles inside. The bulbs also emit heat which increases the temperature so we had to take one of the bulbs out. Also the bulb cover is in the way. I purchased this refrigerator because we added a new kitchen and wanted...
...

I look forward to every Birds & Blooms magazine. The articles are interesting and the pictures are beautiful. There are great tips on gardening and bird watching. This month October/November 2009 the article on Bed & Breakfasts and Inns that cater to bird watchers caught my attention. My favorite part of this magazine is the reader's contributions. This unique magazine is easy to read and you don't have to be a bird watcher to enjoy Birds & Blooms.
...

mmc80 says "a.k.a. Magic Yellow Cream" about Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Dramatically Different Moisturizer by Clinique is amazing. My daughters and I call it "Magic Yellow Cream" This moisturizer makes your skin feel soft but not greasy. You can purchase a small bottle which fits in your purse. My beauty routine is very minimal. Usually I just put on Dramatically different moisturize & go. Clinique uses a 3 part system of soap , toner, and moisturizer, which I do occasionally, but if you don't have time just don't leave the house without wearing the moisturizer. You can also buy this moisturizer in a pump bottle which is very convenient. No matter what your age or skin type this moisturizer works great. I have been using Clinique dramatically different moisturizer since I was in high school, and am still using it now that my oldest child is out of college. The best thing to do is wait until Clinique is offering a free incentive with purchase, usually it is a cosmetic bag packed with goodies. It definitely makes your purchase worth your...
...

mmc80 says "Fekkai shampoo and conditioner leave hair manageable & silky" about Frederic Fekkai moisturizing shampoo

In the past I only purchased shampoo that was on sale or if I had a coupon. Since I bought Fekkai moisturizing shampoo I am a believer that the shampoo really makes a difference. I have been using Frederic Fekkai moisturizing shampoo for about two months and I have received several compliments on my hair although I haven't had it cut or styled differently. Fekkai is quite expensive for a shampoo but you only need to use a drop for amazing lather. The conditioner leaves hair soft and manageable. If you can afford it try Frederick Fekkai moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. The only other drawback to Frederic Fekkai moisturizing shampoo is the availability. Fekkai may be purchased at Bath & Body Works or Lord & Taylor. I believe it is also available at select salons. I have not seen Fekkai shampoo and conditioner at other stores, but I'm sure you could do an internet search to find a local distributor.
...

mmc80 says "www.winster.com is addictive, but fun" about winster.com

I found Winster.com through another points site and thought I'd just play until I earned the first prize which was 500 MyPoints. Well I became so addicted I was playing at 3:00AM.I am now working towards my second prize of a $5.00 Amazon.com gift certificate. There are several prizes to choose from. Every day you get 200 free spins. There are irritating ads but you can eliminate them by purchasing a membership. Many levels of membership are available, as is a Day Pass which I think is only 99 cents. A Day Pass entitles you to 300 spins and added points values for one day. I have never played computer games before, & I've never played slot machines, but this game keeps you coming back to play. There are several games, but SlotSocial seems to be the most popular. Most people on the site are friendly and helpful. The point of the game is to use teamwork to earn jackpots. Lots of fun and you earn prizes!

The major problem with this game is that you become addicted then either...
...

mmc80 says "Magic Bullet is compact & does the job" about Magic Bullet

The Magic Bullet is amazing. I hate appliances on my counter & The Magic Bullet is much easier to take out than either the blender, mixer & or food processor. If you do leave it on the counter it takes up minimal space. It can do the work of all three appliances. The Magic Bullet makes great shakes & smoothies, but my favorite recipes are the guacamole' and hummus. A small recipe book is included with purchase. The Magic Bullet is dishwasher safe, and has accessories such as edge covers so you can drink right from the blending cups & lids so you can refrigerate what you made, or chop nuts and put them in the cabinet. My mother requires a pureed, thickened diet & I have no idea how I would conveniently make her meals without the Bullet. The only negative comment I have is that you have to make sure the gasket is pressed in completely or the Bullet will leak. Also, I do not put the gasket in the dishwasher.
...

Best mixer ever! I've had mine for 27 years. Has interchangeable blades for beating , whipping and bread dough. Beating heavy cookie batter is a breeze with this mixer. Makes the best whipped cream. My husband likes it for making his famous mashed potatoes. You can buy attachments for making pasta, grinding meat, etc. If I could only have one kitchen appliance it would be my Kitchen -aid mixer.
...

mmc80 says "PaperBackSwap.com / Perfect for an avid reader " about PaperBackSwap.com

http://www.Paperbackswap.com is a great site if you love to read, & it's great if you like to recycle. You receive 2 credits for listing your first 10 books, then you may order books. It usually costs 1 credit for a paperback. You choose a book, & when you receive it you log-on and the person who sent it gets a credit. When someone chooses one of your books, you receive an e-mail, then it's easy to print a mailing label, wrap it & bring it to the post office. There is also an option where you may print a label with postage, I'm not sure if you pay by credit card only or if you can use a checking acct., since I haven't used this feature yet. If you choose to print the postage you get immediate credit & can leave the book for you postal carrier to pick up. It's a convenient way to get books and by swapping your books you can open up some space on your bookshelf. In this economy, why spend money for books if you can swap them? You can also swap hardcover books, CD's & DVD's...
...

If you make a purchase you'll receive more points, but you still get 5 to 10 points for each site you click on when you get an e-mail.

The Oreck XL upright vacuum is great if you have both rugs and hardwood floors. There are no attachments to change, it goes from carpets to hardwood floors, to tile floors, and linoleum, with no problem. Be cautious if you have fringe on your rugs as this powerful vacuum may eat the fringe. I purchased my Oreck after recuperating from a slipped disk and the vacuum was light enough to handle without hurting my back.
...

I dislike computer games, but when I found Freerice.com, I almost became addicted. 20 grains of rice are donated to the UN World Food Program for each correct answer. When I substitute teach I let the students play this game @ snack time or if they have indoor recess. They love it! The level can be changed so the kids in the lower grades can play too. My favorite features are the fact that the level changes as you improve so the questions get more difficult, also the words or questions that you got wrong are repeated until you get them correct. You really have to check out the site fully to use it to your best advantage. When I first found Freerice I didn't realize that there were other subjects offered, or maybe they have been added. I have had my math students use the site to review multiplication facts. For older kids & adults there are famous paintings, chemistry & world geography. Check out this site, help yourself & the world.
...

If you have trouble with raccoons and skunks attacking your trash cans the Rubbermaid Animal Stopper Trash Barrel is the solution to your problem. We've owned our home for 25 years and have tried almost everything from bungee cords, barricading the barrels, ammonia, and barrels with locking covers ,to moth balls. The best solution has been freezing our garbage and not taking it out until trash day, but this wastes freezer space and is inconvenient. We compost all vegetable matter. This trash can is plastic with a removable cover, there is a contraption on the top which attaches to the handles and makes it almost animal proof. We've had this trash can for several months and it has only been opened once by the raccoons and we think maybe one of our children didn't lock it properly that time. You can't believe what a time saver it is since we don't have to clean up our yard every morning after the animals have attacked. The only drawback is that there are no wheels on the barrel....
...

We ate at Christopher's last weekend. Our group consisted of adults, kids, vegetarians and carnivores. Since I don't eat meat I usually have one or two choices at most restaurants. There were so many veggie choices I couldn't believe it. I had the spinach & artichoke burrito. It was excellent! The members of the group who had burgers said they were great!

Can't wait for her next book! I think I've read every book Evanovich has written. Her Stephanie Plum series is the best. I can't wait to read more of the escapades of Stephanie, Morelli & Ranger. Also curious about the next title in the series. For more details read some of the other reviews, I'd rather not repeat. Evanovich's other book are great too, some of her original books have been republished. This might not be considered classic literature, but if you want a good laugh and a little adventure read the Stephanie Plum series.

The sharper image ionic breeze is easy to use & purifies the air. My favorite feature is that there are no filters to change. You just remove the center piece and wipe or rinse off the dirt. You can really see how much dust the machine picks up.
My allergies have improved since I got the Ionic Breeze machine. A relative stayed with us after having nasal surgery & we put one of the Sharper Image machines in the room. She said it helped immensely.
The one caution is to keep it away from the wall & furniture. Sometimes it emits a blackish residue, which we were unable to remove although we tried many cleaners.
