I used this before my son was born on my sore nipples. I continued to use it until my milk came in and I didn't have to pump as much. It also works great for chapped skin from nose blowing or chapped lips. — —...

mloho72 says "Love it love it love it" about Fisher Price Baby Papasan Cradle Swing

I first bought the Graco Winnie the Pooh front/back motion swing. My son was not very into it. At 3 months he finally went to sleep in it, but just for 30 minutes or so. — My mom wanted a swing for her house, and I said I wish I had bought one that did front/back and side to side motion. I got this swing. He LOVES it. Fell right to sleep the first time I put him in it. I was MUCH easier to put together. (I had to call tech support 2x for the Pooh swing). He sits in it to eat (not swinging, of course). And he loves the spinning leaves, etc. — I can't say enough great things about this swing. It's very secure. Seems very ergonomic for him. He gets gassy, and this puts him in exactly the correct position to fart. I thought it was great for the price,...

mloho72 says "Better than Time Warner or Road Runner" about Grande Communications

I like Grande because they are local. We dropped SWB when we got rid of our land line. We tried Time Warner and they did a really crappy job of installing the hardware on the side o the house. I had had Road Runnner in an apartment in town and constantly lost service. Grande was a little expensive at first $45/month for 3 kbps. Now we pay $39/month for 8 kbps. I can't think of a time we ever lost service. They are nice to talk with in customer service. And they are based in Austin, I...

mloho72 says "Extremely comfortable, reduces back pain" about MBT M.Walk Wht For Women

I love these shoes. I am on my feet on a concrete floor all day, and they definitely keep my back from getting sore. I haven't noticed any change in the shape of my legs or core strength, but I think I was already pretty strong before I got the shoes. I didn't have to get used to the shoes as the DVD says. I wore them all day with no problem on the first day. They are expensive, but I have had mine for over a year, and they have no sign of wearing...

mloho72 says "Very soothing" about Lansinoh Breast Creme

This lanolin works well especially during the first few days of breast feeding. I also used before I had the baby for sore nipples, and it worked well. You do have to warm it between your fingers to decrease the viscosity, otherwise, putting it on can be slighty annoying. You don't have to wipe it off before the baby eats, which is nice. It did tend to stain the inside of my clothes if I didn't use a nursing pad. The best thing is, it doesn't...

mloho72 says "Tastes great, kind of addictive..." about Weight Watchers - English Toffee

These squares are one weight watchers point a piece. That sounds good, but once I eat one, I want to eat the whole bag (6 squares), which kind of defeats the purpose. Also, they have sugar alcohol in them which tends to make people gassy. For a chocolatey dessert choice, they are ok, but you would be better off with just plain dark chocolate or a regular piece of english...

Amy's has a great playground at the Burnet and Northland location. I have never liked their ice cream, much. If you like Hagen Das, you will like Amy's. The yogurt option is not good at all. Sickly sweet flavor, and not a creamy consistency. Kind of grainy. And there are very few flavors of yogurt. If you do get the ice cream, go with the Tiny size. It is...

mloho72 says "Good shape & sounds. Challenging to assemble." about Graco Winnie the Pooh Baby Swing

I had to call tech support twice during assembly, but once I got it put together, it worked great. Although it says it has multiple speeds, it seems like there is not much difference. The mobile is not powered by a motor, so doesn't really "go" unless the kid twirls it. The mobile also falls off. I now wish I had bought a swing that swings side to side, also. This one does not. Our nursery is Pooh, though, so that...

After feeling guilty about my son's harmful effect on the environment, but not guilty enough to switch to cloth diapers, I discovered Seventh Generation diapers. I couldn't figure out why other brands had pictures of Disney characters on newborn diapers, anyway. These are just as effective as any other brand I have tried. I have tried all the major brands. — —...

I bought Lansinoh wipes afer using their lanolin. I am exclusively breastfeeding, and the Lansinoh wipes work great. They are effective - one wipe per change - and gentle - no diaper rash. The package top closes so the next wipe doesn't dry out which I...
