mjorsn says "Works for a moderate migraine" about relpax migraine prescription medication

I am 29 years old and have been a migraine and chronic daily headache sufferer for almost 25 years. When I was in grade school I was tol my daily headaches and weekly migraines were just ploys to get out of school and stay in bed and be lazy. As ai grew older the pain remained, and my search for relief continued. I was told the pain was psychological, sinus related, ear related, muscle related, and just general chronic pain. I knew that I suffered from headaches. All the women in my family suffer from headaches. However, I did not think that they caused such severe life disruption as mine did. It was not until three years ago that I found a doctor (a headache specialist) that understood chronic daily headache and migraine. I was finally properly diagnosed! yet, it took up until this year to find the correct combination of prescription and non-prescription preventive and abortive medications to help treat my pain. Now I am on two different preventive medications that I take daily and will...
...

mjorsn says "Too expensive" about Gerber Graduates Lil' Sticks - Chicken

My son likes food, plain and simple. People think he does not like to eat because he does not eat very much at meals. At breakfast, lunch, or dinner, he will take a few bites of each serving, drink his beverage, and then be off running to the next activity. A few hours later he will have a few bites of a snack, then an hour or so bites of his meal, and so on, etc. He just nibbles throughout the day. But, boy does he love food. His eyes light up when he sees his favorite dishes. He absolutely loves pizza, pasta, green beans, peas, chocolate, and carrots just to name a few.

However, I am a working parent and do not have a lot of time on the weekdays to make meals for us. So a few times a month I feed him Gerber graduate meals. he especially loves the vegetables and pastas placed together. He is not a big meat eater, but I thought I would buy the Gerber graduates Lil' Chicken Sticks so he could try. He took one bite and then placed it down. I then tried one. I realized it is......

mjorsn says "Mediocre and pricy...there are better solutions out there " about A-D Original Diaper Rash Ointment

I am the parent of a very active two year old. My toddler is always running, jumping, bending, stooping, crawling, digging, and walking. He has neither the desire or attention span to be potty trained nor when he is playing does he indicate to me he wants his diaper changed. I must always perform checks. He used to tell me he was wet, etc. Now he just gets lost in playing. As such, especially in the summer, he is very prone to diaper rash. I have been told by my toddler's pediatrician that vaseline works just as well, or better, than creams or other ointments, but I have found this to not always be the case. I usually use generic diaper rash creams I buy at the dollar store or other stores.

However, I had a store coupon and manufacturer coupon for A-D Orginal Diaper Rash Ointment. I decided to buy it. I would not have ourchased it had it not been for the coupons because it is very expensive in my opinion. My son had a moderate diaper rash on one side of his backside and......

mjorsn says "Eco-Friendly, but messy and costly, Kitty litter" about Feline Pine Scoop Clumping

I have to admit that I love my cat. I am not so sure that she loves me though. Well, I think she does, because my son and I are the only two people in the world to whom she does not growl at. So I like to take care of her to make sure she doesn't growl at me in the future! She is very finicky and set in her ways. Any change in her routine, food, litter, etc. can be a cause for kitty revolution. But, I am so sick of cat litters because they are so dusty and cause such a mess. everytime I pour litter, whether it be a very cheap, generic brand, to very expensive, dust and other remnants are always flying all over me. Plus, my cat is so prissy that she always scoops her 'waste' out of the litterbox once she has gone and the clean litter is chucked out of the box also and becomes tracked around the house.

I saw Feline Pine in the store and decided to try it. It was very, very costly compared to what I usually buy. But I was impressed with the fact that it was dust free. ...
...

mjorsn says "So close to being great, yet so far away...." about As Seen On TV Swivel Sweeper for Floors Vacuum

It was a rare moment that I had to myself when my toddler son was taking a nap and I was mindlessly watching awful t.v. shows on a Sunday afternoon. I knew that I should be doing more productive things, but man, was I beat! That was when a very promising product came on t.v.- the Swivel Sweeper. I got sucked into spending a precious hour of my free time watching this infomercial. The Swivel Sweeper offered everything I needed. I have hardwrrod floors throughout my house and have a few area rugs also. In one room I have a problem with the cat traking her litter. Also, with a toddler he can be quite messy dropping his cereal snacks on the floor. Hence, I knew I had to have this product! The infomercial stated the sweeper would pick up messes on wood floors and carpets. I was so sick of brooms and dustpans and did not want to lug out the heavy vacuum cleaner for my few area rugs. I was sold! I waited impatiently for the product to arrive.

It arrived, I assembled it,...
...

mjorsn says "Huggies Overnites-Never wake up to wet sheets again!" about Huggies Overnites Diapers

I am not a fan of buying more expensive items that one would just throw away. I am not that type of person at all. However, my son just turned two years old and has been waking up may mornings with a leaky diaper and wet sheets. I know he is not getting the sleep he needs because he is waking up an hour or so earler than he would before it os time to get off to day care. So, I had an awesome coupon that was doubled, so I decided to try Huggies Overnites. Wow, am I glad I did! I didn't really have any expectations. My son had had milk to drink before he went to bed, so I figured he would wake up wet and cold again. No way! Not with these diapers! I am so pleased and thrilled with these. I have been using the Overnites for the last two weeks and every night he has awakened leak free and his sheets are dry as can be. It is great. The downside is that these, like other Huggies products are expensive. However, I will watch out for coupons.
...
