This is a great show to watch. The hosts are not there to make fun of the participant but to help them. Some people just do not know that they do not look their best. A lot of people think that dressing younger makes them look younger. The hosts show them that dressing younger actually makes them look older and then steers them toward clothes that will make them look...

missalaneous says "Must not be compared to 'the Wizard of Oz' musical/movie." about Return to Oz

This movie should be watched with the knowledge that this is not a sequal to 'the Wizard of Oz' musical with Judy Garland. This movie is based on the books and the characters look like the illistrations in the books. — It is a fun adventure about a land with crazy happenings. There are some things that could scare younger kids, but my children, ages 4, 6, and 7 liked it. —...

missalaneous says "My favorite Shrek." about Shrek 2

When sequals first started to be made, they were never as good as the original. Now they are usually better than the first. This is no exception. I love the second movie better that the first. In the first Shrek movie they are establishing who the characters are and how they met. In Shrek 2 they have fun with the characters and show how they relate to eachother in an uncomfortable situation. There is a lot more action and fun in this...

The book 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' helped me so much when I was pregnant with my first child. My mom works, so I could not call her everytime i had a question about what was going on with my body. Whenever something new about my pregnancy happened i wanted to know if it was normal or not. This book answered those...

I love this magazine. It has everything from politics to home cooking. When i was a teenager, I only read the joke sections. Now i read it from cover to cover. It has humor, like I mentioned, but it also has serious articles. It has articles about celebrities and articles about everyday people doing heroic deeds, whether they help someone out of a physically dangerous situation or they let some teens crash at their place regularly, saving them from a life out on the...

missalaneous says "Cute for kids, a bit annoying for grownups." about Maya and Miguel PBS Television Show

This is a cute show for kids, but after a while you realize how annoying it is for Maya to always cause trouble for Miguel. There is one episode where Miguel tells Maya how annoying she is and how mad he is for something she did. He ends up appologizing for getting so upset, but the whole time I am thinking he has a right to be upset for all the things Maya does. I guess it is a good lesson to learn to be tolerant of other people but does she have to be that annoying? —...

The Onion Chopper made by Progressive is sturdy and easy to clean. It has non-slip grips on the bottom. It has measurements on the sides so you do not have to move the ingredients to a measuring cup. It also comes with a 'comb' to push out chunks that get stuck in the holes of the chopper. — The Onion Chopper chops food into 1/4 inch squares. That is good for families with kids who do not like big chunks of onion in their chili. Onions are not the only things you can chop with this gadget. You can also chop carrots, potatoes, celery, and even eggs for egg salad. — ...
