Ok, let me just say right off that I have always been a die hard "film" person. I loved my 35mm camera. It took great pictures, and I wouldn't give it up for anything . . . . or so I thought. When I used the camera for the first time and saw how easy it was, I was hooked. I LOVE being able to see the picture I took right there in front of me to see if anyone blinked or if the lighting was bad. I can't tell you how many times I missed a great shot and didn't even know it until I had the pictures developed. I don't have that problem anymore. The Kodak EasyShare C310 digital camera is a compact camera with a wrist strap that is so easy to use, it's unbelievable. It truly is point and click, and the color and clarity of the pictures after they are printed are truly amazing. I would never go back to traditional 35mm cameras with film ever again. If you are thinking of getting a digital camera - try the Kodak EasyShare C310!

Move over Pantene - Here comes Tresemme!! Tresemme is a lucious conditioner that smoothes, conditions, and helps prevent split ends. You can use any old shampoo, but when it comes to conditioner, you need to use one that will really make your hair shine. I love Tresemme because it smells wonderful, and it only takes a little bit to do the job. Also, Tresemme is sold at Dollar General where I do a lot of my shopping, so I don't have to make a special trip to a salon to purchase my conditioner. Also, the cost of Tresemme is very affordable. I get a large bottle that usually lasts me about a month for $3.00, and it does wonders for my hair. My hair ends up been sleek, shiny, and manageable with no ratty split ends to worry about. You can find Suave shampoo at almost any store you visit - Dollar General, Walmart, CVS pharmacy, Walgreens, Family Dollar, K-Mart, or your local supermarket. This is great because you don't have to make a special trip to another store across town to try to find what you are looking for. Wherever you already shop, just go down the shampoo aisle, and there it will be. The price was the first thing that drew me to Suave. I usually buy my shampoo at Dollar General, and it is always one dollar. What a deal! By only spending a dollar on your shampoo, you save money to use on other necessities. In today's economy, that is extremely important! Suave leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean and looking gorgeous for the right price.

I love my Playstation 2!! I don't play video games every day, but when I am in the mood for a good game, my Playstation 2 is right there. My favorite game to play on my Playstation 2 is Guitar Hero. I have several of the Guitar Hero games (Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III, and Guitar Hero Rockin the 80's). and I love them all! It makes you feel like you are a real Guitar Hero up there on stage.

The Playstation 2 also works as a DVD player. I have a smaller home, so I'm limited to the size of an entertainment center I can have. Since I can use the Playstation 2 to play DVD's, I don't have to worry about having a separate DVD player. The Playstation 2 works great! It also has a parental control screen that comes up with PG-13, R, or Unrated moves are played. It allows parents to have a secret access code to allow the move to play or now. I know Playstation 3 is out, but I am perfectly happy with my Playstation 2.

The Venus name is extremely well known and trusted among women everywhere. The Venus Breeze razor is one of the best razors I have ever used. Its multi-blade design is perfect for getting all of the hair on the first swipe instead of having to shave over the same area over and over again. The pivoting head is wonderful for those hard to reach areas - like knees and ankles. My favorite part is the moisturizing strip on the razor. When the moisturizing strip gets wet, it applies a thin layer of moisturizer with each swipe of the razor. The blades cut the hair, and immediately the moisturizer is applied. The skin just absorbs it, and it helps to prevent razor burn. I find even if I nick myself when shaving, the moisturizer helps to stop the bleeding quickly. Yes, the Venus Breeze razor costs a little more, but my advice would be to watch for it to go onsale at your local pharmacy and use a coupon!!

Finally a workout video for all fitness levels. I am a heavier adult who needs to exercise, but it seems every workout video I've tried is too difficult. This makes me feel discouraged which leads me to not exercising. Kathy Ireland's workout video was awesome. It was filmed outdoors which makes for some interesting views. There are all kinds of people on the video - even a heavier lady, which NEVER happens. Throughout the video, Kathy is doing the moves, and specifically tells the audience what to do differently if they are a beginner. I warms my heart to see the support that the other people in the video were showing the "beginner" on the video. Seeing that makes me want to watch the video and exercise again and again. There are 3 sections of the video, so the more advanced exercisers can proceed through all three, and the beginners can work their way up. Thank you Kathy Ireland.

Purina Puppy Chow is a good, healthy, and affordable food for my puppy. When I bring that new bag home and rip open the string on the top of the bag, my puppy always knocks the bag over, making me spill it everywhere. He just can't wait to get some. Purina Puppy Chow is make from nutritious ingredients that my puppy loves! We used to buy the smaller bag, but my labrador needs the larger bags now. Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois is a great school to earn a one-year certificate or a two-year degree. This school is a great place to get the basic courses out of the way in preparation for you to transfer to a four-year college to receive a bachelor's degree or to earn a two-year degree and then enter the workforce. The teachers at Lake Land College really care about their students. They put in the extra time and effort to make sure every student is as successful as they can be. Most people commute to Lake Land College since it is centrally located, but there are some great apartment-style housing available too.

Sports are big at Lake Land College too. They have an awesome girls softball team coached by none other than Denny Throneburg. Denny is an awesome coach who pushes the girls to be the best. He has done clinics for younger girls in the surrounding cities to help them be the best that they can be as well.

The Coffee Bean in Sullivan, Illinois - Words cannot express how great that place is!! When you first walk in the door, you are reminded of an sidewalk bistro cafe. The decor is modern but comfortable with many tables and chairs and several couches to "hang" with friends. Their menu consists of coffee, chai tea, hot cocoa, smoothies, wraps, panini grilled sandwiches, many other types of sandwiches, soup, chips, salads, nachos, baked goods - including the best oatmeal-raisin cookies I've ever tasted. Their signature sandwich is "Shirley's Chicken Salad". Now I'll tell you - I don't like mayonnaise, so I've never tried the chicken salad, but people absolutely RAVE about this stuff. You can get it served on a variety of breads, but I've heard the most popular ones are the croissant or the Wheatberry bread. They also serve hand-dipped ice cream in the summertime. I'm at the Coffee Bean at least once a week - usually more. It is definitely worth a try if you are in the central...

I own the Hewlett Packard Pavilion A6530F computer. I bought it when my Compaq died. The Pavilion is amazing! No matter what I'm doing, it is superfast!! My main tasks include email, web surfing, playing games online, composing documents (Word, Excel), and Instant Messenger. With my old computer, it was not uncommon to type in a website name, and then have time to go get a cup of coffee while I waited for it to come up. With this computer, i type in a website, hit enter, and it's there - almost instantly. I can't tell you how awesome this is! My kids use the computer to lookup information for school, so they are usually doing repeat searches for multiple items over and over again. This was extremely frustrating with our old computer because it took FOREVER!! They are amazed how fast they get their homework done with the new computer. That leaves more time for them to talk on their cell phone. :-)

The Hewlett Packard pavilion F1703 Flat Screen Monitor is awesome! I bought this monitor after using an "old style" monitor that weighed a ton!! I paid $100 for this monitor and got a $31 rebate from Hewlett Packard, so for $69, I thought - why not! When it arrived and I got it hooked up, I turned it on, and the color was amazing. It was SO much better than my old monitor. I can't believe I waited so long to get a flat screen monitor. My old monitor was malfunctioning pretty often, and I had to keep turning it off and turning it back on. No problems with this monitor at all. It takes up SO much less space on my desk, it's unbelievable!! The price was the first thing that drew me to this monitor, but the Hewlett Packard name was big on my list as well. With Hewlett Packard's good reputation and customer service, I knew I couldn't go wrong with purchasing this flat swcreen monitor.

Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois is a great school. I graduated from Lumpkin College of Business, and I feel like I got a great education. Some of my classes were large, but most of them were small enough to feel that "personal touch". I learned a lot and met a lot of great people. There were students from all walks of life there. Some were fresh out of high school looking for the party scene. Some were in their early twenties and had taken a few years off after high school. Other were older people returning to school after serving in the military or having chiledren. I believe Eastern Illinois University has something for everyone. I was a commuter, so I didn't have the luxury of meeting a lot of people in the dorms. But there were plenty of us in my situation. We'd meet for coffee at McDonalds to study or just to hang out. This school was close to home for me, and I'm glad I attended.
