mightymorock says "Marios back in the most fun game on any system in any genre ever" about Super Mario Galaxy for Nintendo Wii

Mario is back! Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii is the most fun game I have ever played and gets better the deeper you get in the game. Like other Mario titles, there is enough fun to last you countless hours, yet to beat the game, one doesn't have to complete every goal in the game.
Galaxy does a fabulous job in combining the old with the new. A lot of old friends and foes make their way back into the storyline, but just as many new characters are introduced, as well. In the game, Mario finds himself in outer space trying to reach the center of the universe to rescue Peach from Bowser. He is joined in his adventure by the toads and finds his brother along the way. The classic Goombas are your first enemy in the game, and Mario also butts heads with the many koopa troopa (from the classic koopa to the wizard koopa "kamek") and the boos.
Gameplay is exceptional and includes the nunchuk with the wiimote. The motion sensor of the wiimote and nunchuk a......

mightymorock says "The best television show that never got a chance." about Arrested Development

Arrested Development is undoubtedly the best sitcom of the 21st Century, and it never even got a chance to win the hearts of America. This show had a wonderful blend of topical humor and dry wit. In its three seasons - from the pilot, which was extended and became the first episode, to the epilogue in the third season - Arrested Development delivered continuous laughs.
Arrested Development is a show premised about a rich family that tries to keep the family company alive while the father and head of the company is in jail for fraud. The motley crew of characters are blended so well together, the script seems to flow perfectly. There are so many great types of humor that are a part of the awesome that is Arrested Development, from callback jokes from previous episodes to the inclusion of great musical gems like Europe's The Final Countdown to even making fun of FOX during episodes.
This show won an Emmy in its first season for "Outstanding Comedy Series" and "Oustanding New Comedy,"......

mightymorock says "Great all in one with a few minor glitches" about Lexmark X6570 All-in-One Printer

As a normal HP user, I took a chance with the Lexmark x6570. It's a pretty hefty all-in-one, but its size is made up by its solid quality. Unlike the HPs, I found that the Lexmark was a bit more durable, with more solid pieces and seems less likely to physically break.
The printer is pretty fast, it rolls out a black and white word document in about four seconds on normal print settings. The color isn't much slower - at about eight to ten seconds for a 4x6 color image. It's print quality is very good. Digital pictures look true and the warms blend nicely with the cools.
The additional modes (scanner, copier, and fax) are very user friendly - the keypad interface is wonderful. The scanner is very easy to use and integrates with your computer just like your printer. The copier is simple to use, as well. The 2-sided copy is a very handy feature for copying.
I love using my WiFi printer at school because i can be anywhere in my dorm (in bed, at the lounge,......

mightymorock says "The mouse to end all mice." about Logitech VX Revolution

When I purchased my laptop, I knew the integrated touch pad wouldn't suffice. I needed a quality mouse that I could easily take on the go, but one that would hold up to the higher end desktop mice. It has many buttons that can be customized with the included drivers, eight to be exact (not including the right and left click). This is so clutch for me, because I can use it like a remote across the room to control volume and switch tracks of my music. The scroll wheel can also be switched from a "racheted" wheel to a "free spin" wheel with the switch on the bottom side of the mouse. I didn't think that this would come in use very much, but I enjoy using the "free spin" mode a lot when reading longer webpages.
The design is very sleek and fits the [right] hand very well. I also have relatively large hands (think xl batting gloves) and many notebook mice can really put a hurting on my hands after longer periods of use; however, the vx is a bit larger than other mice in......

mightymorock says "Fun little phone, but not great." about LG - Chocolate VX8500 Cell Phone

The lg chocolate is the new "it" phone for verizon users, proceeding the motorola rzr. it has a lot of features (bluetooth, mp3, quality camera), and if you're like me and hate flip phones, the slider is great. I prefer the touch pad over the new version's scroll wheel; however, many people find that the touch pad is way too sensitive. I also have a problem with making calls while the phone is in my pocket, but this problem isn't very frequent.
Overall a very solid phone, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a simple phone with a lot of features for a reasonable price.
...
