mi-n-fi says "Nice for the Price" about Westinghouse - 46 inch LCD Flat Screen TV

I really like our 37" Westinghouse Monitor. We picked it up during an after Christmas sale for $799 and we haven't found any quality 1080p TVs that are close to that price since.

The picture quality is excellent, there are many hook-ups in the back, and it has a very attractive design. I love being able to mount it on the wall and not having it take up space. I haven't seen any TVs that are this nice for even close to the price that we paid.

I am a bit disappointed in the remote receiving ability. At first I thought it was a problem with the remote itself, but we switched to a universal remote that works great with all of our other devices but not the monitor. You need to have the remote pointed directly at the TV & only in a very small area. If you are 4 feet to the side of the TV you have to stretch your arm out to the side because it won't accept a signal from more than a 30-45* angle. I would have given the monitor a 5 Star rating if this wasn't the case, it is a really nice unit!......

mi-n-fi says "Not Worth the Time" about Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

I'm sorry, but I thought this movie was pretty bad. My husband & I actually stopped it about 30 minutes or so into the movie. We like comedy & we actually have quite off-beat/cheesy senses of humor, so we had a few people telling us that we had to see this movie. It wasn't well made and the humor was really lame. It seemed like they were trying too hard to be different & it just doesn't work when you try too hard to be funny....

mi-n-fi says "Great for the Price!" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

I really like this stroller! I have daughters that are 2 years apart & this really came in handy. I love that my baby carrier fit nicely into the back seat. The double canopies are great for sunny days. The stroller pushes easily & fits through doorways. It is not too heavy or awkward to fold up. I can actually fit stuff in the basket underneath & can access the basket from the seat area too. The drink holders in the front seat & up on the handles are a must-have accessory too. I wish the back seat had a drink holder too. (I wonder if this can be special ordered?) I have been very pleased with this purchase and it was one of the least expensive double strollers I looked at!...

mi-n-fi says "It Helped Me be a Better Wife & Mother" about Created to Be His Help Meet

I am a part of a Bible study with 20-30 year old gals. We read this book together last year and it really helped everyone see what being a Christian wife should look like. I am quite an opinionated and strong-willed person, so this book really helped me understand how to be a better wife through submission to my husband.

Debi Pearl really speaks openly and honestly and I love how she doesn't hold back when she's trying to make a point. I found myself laughing, crying, praying, & changing my attitude while reading this book. I think all women should read this book!

Our culture does not understand the concept of Biblical submission so it seems like a pretty controversial subject to write a book about. I'm so glad that she wasn't worried about pleasing the mainstream and she followed the Lord's leading. My marriage has improved so much from following the advice in the book and from allowing the Lord to change my heart!...

mi-n-fi says "Relieved my Sinus Pressure & Headache" about Afrin Sinus - 12 hour nasal spray

I just received a coupon for a free bottle so I thought I'd try it. I was skeptical at first, but figured "Hey, it's free... no loss if it doesn't work!"

After only one application I could breathe within minutes. "Great!" I thought, "I don't have to breathe through my mouth anymore!" The pressure from my sinus headache had been so bad that my teeth felt like they were about to fall out. Within about 10 minutes the pressure was diminishing and my headache was gone. My eyes stopped watering & I could handle sunlight again. I am sold!

The only thing I didn't care for was that I had a tough time winding down to fall asleep one night. However, once I fell asleep it was better because I could actually breathe! I don't think I'll take it right before bedtime again though....

mi-n-fi says "Love It!" about Toyota Sienna - 2006

I love my '06 Toyota Sienna. I think my favorite features are the keyless remote opening doors & rear hatch, the stow-away rear seats, and the set-up of the dashboard/control panels. I don't ever want to have another van that doesn't have the remote to open the doors, especially with 2 small children and another one on the way!

There are oodles of cup holders, tons of storage compartments, lots of storage in the rear, and my model (XLE) has a really classy-looking woodgrain accent in the interior. I have the captains' chairs in the 2nd row, so pass-through to the rear is easy and I don't miss the 8th seat at all. I don't mind that the 2nd row doesn't stow away because there is plenty of room when the third row is down. I love that I can divide the third row into 1,2, or 3 seats too.

The van rides smoothly, the engine is so quiet, I've never had a problem with anything going wrong. It's been very dependable & comfortable for the last year & a half I've owned it. I would...
...

mi-n-fi says "They USED to be my favorite" about Huggies Snug and Dry

I used to LOVE Huggies diapers. They weren't a terrible fit for my girls and they did a decent job at keeping them dry. I used to get coupons for them all the time so they fit in my budget, which is a plus - I love getting a deal.

For some reason, the last few packages that I have purchased have been terrible. They are incredibly saggy, if my daughter has a looser stool than normal it's been leaking out the leg holes, and pee has been seeping through the fabric even when the diaper is just kind of wet. (I understand that if you leave a diaper on a kid too long that it's going to leak no matter what, but I'm talking about an hour or two!) I think I'm going to have to stop buying them - I kept thinking that I just got a bad batch or something, but they haven't improved in the last couple of purchases. My sister (who has 4 children) just mentioned to me the other day that Huggies were leaking for her too.

I wonder if they changed how they are made recently or if the fact that...
...

mi-n-fi says "My Kids Love Them" about Hershey - Kissables

My kids really like this candy. The flavor is very good also, it tastes just like the big Hershey Kisses but on a smaller scale. I probably wouldn't sit down and eat a whole package in one sitting like other candy bars. (But that can be a very good thing too!)

I like that the candy melts in your mouth - I'm not as worried that my toddler will choke on it like I am with other small candies. I keep an open bag handy and give my girls 1 or 2 at a time as a quick snack. It makes the bag last for a while & it's enough to stop them from whining for candy. Since it's such a small amount, I do not feel as guilty about not giving them something a little more healthy too! :-)

mi-n-fi says "Something Different - but still yummy!" about Mars - M & M's Raspberry

It is so nice to find something different to snack on. We get bored easily with the "same-olds" at times, so I was excited to find something different that was still simple. My kids & husband really liked them too.

The only thing that I found wrong with them was that they could be a choking hazard to younger kids. I cut some up for my youngest because they just seemed too big for her.

The flavor is good, with a nice chocolate taste with just a hint of raspberry. I was sad that when I went to buy some they didn't carry them anymore. I hope to find them at another store again, but am afraid they are a limited time offer.
...

mi-n-fi says "Easy to Make When You're in a Hurry" about Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper

I always have some Hamburger Helper on hand for those days that I'm just too busy to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. My 3yr old is very picky and she actually likes it, which is quite surprising. I like to blend in vegetables like corn & peas to get her to eat a little healthier.

They have a lot more variety than they used to also. Chicken Helper & Tuna Helper can also be found quite often in my pantry too. My husband loves the Chicken Fried Rice, and I just use canned white meat to make it so it is so easy to prepare.
Maybe some day I'll learn how to throw a home-made meal together quickly, but for now I'm very thankful for Hamburger Helper - we would be eating from the drive-through otherwise!
...
