      <title>mhh says &quot;I would never reccomment American Family Insurance&quot; about American Family Insurance</title>

      <description>Recently I called my agent for advice on making a claim, since we had recently had a couple of claims on other cars.&#160; I was told that AmFam NEVER cancels policies and that, at worst, my rates would go up.&#160; I was even given an estimate of what the increase would be.&#160; It seemed more practical to make the claim and pay the increased rates.&#160; WRONG!&#160; Shortly after making the claim I was notified by AmFam that all of my auto policies would be cancelled.&#160; They would not work with me in any way.&#160; I was able to find new policies at comparable rates.&#160; My motorcycle policy was not cancelled and since I had paid the annual&#160;premium in full and still had six months to go, I left it in place to finish out the coverage period.&#160; After the auto cancellation took place I was billed an additional $683.00 for my motorcycle policy.&#160; When I called I was told they had assigned an auto&#160;accident that my daughter had almost two years previously (in a now cancelled car) and that had upped the motorcycle...... </description>
