The sporting events are great to watch, if you can afford and can get tickets to them - it is definitely worth it. The exceptions to hard to find tickets are women's volleyball (free) and women's basketball ($8.00 adults, $3.00 kids). It is especially expensive to try to get tickets to any of the Virginia Tech football games. Although the university has expanded it's capacity for football seating, they still need to provide MORE!
