mello118 says "If you can't stand the heat..." about General Electric DVLR223 Gas Dryer

General Electric DVLR223 Gas Dryer. I mentioned That I moved and had to replace a few items when I did my review for the Washer. I bring it up again because I had the need to replace my dryer as well. This Dryer was obtained at an affordable price and provides with an excellent value based on it's performance. I have always complained about Dryer heat not being adequate to completely dry my clothes, satisfactorily or speedily. This has a drying cycle, called "Optimum Dry" which does the job in about 30 minutes (maybe less but I leave it for 30 anyway, just easy to remember). I actually left a bed sham in too long and the synthetic material nearly melted. All in all, this perfect for my needs.
...

mello118 says "What A surprise!" about AXE Primed Just Clean

Who woulda' thunk it, I used this shampoo, AXE Primed Just Clean brand, I personally would not have purchased this product. I think AXE is gimmicky. It was gift, Christmas 2008 to be exact. It stayed in my cabinet since then, I first used it March, 2009 (I am not a re-gifter). I was out of my regular brand and did not have time to run out and replace it so I tried this shampoo as an emergency back up. What a surprise! I actually liked it. It lathers extremely well with only a little amount,, has a very pleasant smell and my hair came out shiny, soft, and deeper in color. It recommends using a conditioner (by AXE, of course), but I did not use any, my regular brand is 2 n 1. I have no complaints and as a result have not yet replaced my normal brand, Head and Shoulders, and this is the end of April, 2009.
...

mello118 says "It puts me to sleep" about Emerson - BLC320EM9 A

It was Black Friday, literally it was black outside when I got in line. I purchased this product the day after Thanksgiving because it had a feature I really look for in TV's. Amongst other favorite qualities, I would like to specifically mention the sleep timer. I often forget to check for this feature while shopping or when I'm in the market (I also like the automatic turn on feature so that it I can use it as an alarm), but I actually knew this feature was available before I purchased it. I pften find myself falling asleep while watching TV and this will burn electricity until i wake up, so it also serves as an energy saver. This was the selling point (or in my case "sold" point). It is a 720p LCD disply HDTV, 32" screen TV (1336 x 768 resolution) that is a perfect addition for my bedroom. It attaches to mounts so it is on a swivel on my wall and though I was leary about the 720p, this actually puts out a better picture than I expected. Although it is 5 months since purchase,...
...

mello118 says "Three left turns make a right turn." about GE Washer

GE Washer S2100G5WW. This is my newest washer. I have just moved into this new home, I bought a washer and Dryer actually. I wanted a temporary one until I am ready to replace a better one that was destroyed in the move. I am still in the testing stages, but this model is a life saver. The sheer simplicity makes it an attractive purchase, but my big surprise came when I forgot that this was not my previous washer and I used it as would have used my old heavy duty washer (I'll leave that model out since it is not under review). Have you ever washed pillows in a home washer? They get really heavy due to the amount of water they soak up and place a huge demand on the washers motor to spin. Well, I had two in at the same time and I thought that I might have broken it when I realized my error. I ran to my laundry room and found that the rinse and spin cycle were complete and it finished without event. I am now convinced of the strength of this washer and for the price I could not expect...
...

mello118 says "I guess did.nt need self propelled" about Lawn Boy Model 10645

I reluctantly purchased the Lawn Boy lawn mower model# 10645, reluctant because I preferred a self propelled model, which this was not. Economically, the self propelled mower was a luxury I will have to wait for but purchasing this model will make the wait easier. This comes with the ready start (non-electric) that cranks on the first pull each time. Once it's going it moves with an ease that make me think it is moving itself, true when I hit a spot where I had lengthy grass I had to give it a little encouragement, but I ahd my level set to cut very low. This is another feature that is easy to use. Adjust the height is nearly as easy as pushung a button. This model comes with rear discharge bag that can be easily attached or removed for bagging or mulching, but also has a side discharge (due to eco concerns the side discharge bag has to be requested and will be shipped free). All in all, i think the economy helped me make a wise decision. I think I would have purchased something that...
...
