mdjacobs says "Amuses baby and Dad" about Dolly Circus Pals Mobile

My husband could have cared less about picking out cute things like clothes, blankets, etc. for our son's room, but when he came across the Dolly Inc. Circus Mobile in Babies R Us he had to have it for our son. He stood in the store pressing the demo button over and over to hear the circus music and see the glittery balls dance around. His son had to have that! Then he showed it to his dad and my dad and it was the hit of the nursery! So it has lights on the mobile base that attaches to the crib, it has the mobile part that also shines stars around the room, it has 4 sounds/songs and automatic shut off. You can choose one, two, or all the options at once. Great mobile for all....

mdjacobs says "Hard to find, but worth the hunt" about Sassy MAM Bottles

After trying many bottles there are our favorites and our son's favorite. He likes the shape of the nipple and the venting system seems to work well. On the downside, they can leak if the bottom or the top are not screwed on right. And they are BPA free. Although I don't know that the studies currently available really show a danger, my conscience wouldn't let my son drink out of a bottle that may cause him harm down the road....

mdjacobs says "So-so" about Prince Lionheart The Ultimate Wipes Warmer with Everfresh System

My sister in law swears by this warmer and went through 2 with her two boys. She loved the fact that this warmer had the ever fresh pack to keep the wipes from browning. My experience with it is that the ever fresh pack did work, but it was a pain to buy more and to re-wet it. The reason we got another one is that the lid stopped staying shut so we would have to set something on top of it which would inevitable fall on the floor and the warmer would be open drying out. So it's not my favorite product. I then bought a Munchkin warmer and it is great!! It doesn't use an ever-fresh pack but still keeps wipes warm, moist and not brown. The top wipe dries out a bit if you don't use a wipe for a while, but that is a minor thing....

mdjacobs says "Cheaper to buy disposables" about Energizer - 15 Minute charger

We use a lot of batteries and bought this to charge a variety of different types (AA, C, D, etc.) of batteries but we have been terribly disappointed. After just a couple (literally) uses, it now says all batteries are charged when they are clearly not. I can't remember what we paid for it, but for the amount of use we got out of it we might as well have just bought disposable batteries....

mdjacobs says "Life Saver" about Swaddleme Adjustable Infant Wrap 100% Cotton Knit Preemie

My son responded well to being swaddled for feeding, for sleeping, for any fussy time it calmed him down and allowed him to look around peacefully or just rest peacefully. My husband became a master swaddler with regular receiving blankets and preferred those, but I preferred using the Swaddlemes for the convenient velcro (easy to do in the dark at 3am). My son used them for about 2 months and then didn't need them on a regular basis for calming....

mdjacobs says "A must have!!" about Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo

The Fisher Price Jumperoo was a baby shower gift and although we didn't think we would need it for months, my husband loves to put new toys and gadgets together so up it went. My son is now almost three months old and he has been using the jumperoo since 2 months and it is his favorite activity. At first he would just sit in the seat with his head leaning on the wonderful head rest and just look at all of the toys and a month later he is bouncing it around so the music will come on. He is just now tall enough to have his feet touch the floor so I bet by next month he will actually be jumping.
As long as we have a blanket in the seat with him so he doesn't sink too low he does great in the jumperoo and is very entertained. It's large size that doesn't truely fold down is probably it's major downfall. I would recommend this to anyone!
...
