mdesign704 says "Reliable, Economical, Fun" about Toyota RAV4 - 1999

I bought this car new in 1999. I currently have 170,000 miles on it. During that time, I've kept up with oil changes, replaced the timing belt (preventative) once, one new battery, and one bumper to bumper check-up with minor adjustments. The check-engine light went off last month & I needed a faulty valve replaced.

The only problem I've had is the gas guage -- it stopped working 2 years ago and the cost to repair is astronomical. So I use the mileage indicator.

I love the compact size (SO easy to park!), the gas mileage is great, the room (for 2 adults & 1 4-year old) is perfect, and sitting up high so I'm not ignored (cut-off) by larger SUVs & trucks.

Unfortunately, I have lots of door dings because of so many large SUVs which barely fit into parking spots -- and their owners who can't be bothered to open their large, heavy doors carefully. Other than that, the body looks great.

The cup holders for driver are located in front of the gear shift -- can't put it in park & have a cup in their.......

mdesign704 says "Recommended by a Graphic Design Professional" about Canon CanoScan CS4400F Flatbed Scanner

As a graphic design professional, I depend on my scanner to give me outstanding resolution, dependable performance and speed. This scanner does it all at an incredible price. Both the scanner and the software was incredibly easy to use right out of the box.

I did my research on professional photography, design & PC sites and this was one of the top three -- and the least expensive (by far) of the bunch. The reviews were right on (accuracy, speed, easy to use & dependable).

The quick-button panel on the front means I can scan on the fly and keep my work flow going smoothly. The accompanying software allows me to make scanning color/resolution adjustments on the fly and import a perfectly scanned document into Photoshop.

I've recommended this scanner to many others and they are all very happy with it.

...
