mcmom says "Single mom mows lawn with one hand!" about Black & Decker 18" Electric Mower LM175

I recently purchased my first home with a kind of small front, side, and back lawn and I'm very happy with this mower. It was almost as easy as vacuuming! No kidding!
I purchased this mower because I really don't want the hassle of gas powered tools, the smell, the noise. The price was reasonable as well. My lawn isn't one nice big rectangle either. I have trees and other landscaping features to mow around. It was easy to maneuver and didn't get caught on anything.

Although the cord is not the most fun to deal with, I was able to push the mower with one hand and guide the cord with the other. It really wasn't bothersome at all.

Another great feature is the SO EASY on and off lever. It doubles as a good safety feature as well. If your hand isn't on the mower lever, it turns off. And to turn it on, there's no pull cord or anything like that. You just easily pull a lever! My son started helping me with the lawn and I this feature gives me much more confidence that he won't get hurt in the blades....
...

mcmom says "Great value, nice feel, good construction." about iSkin Protouch Keyboard Protectordust Cover For Macbook Pro Ghostglow White

I bought this because even though I don't eat popcorn or crusty sandwich breads atop my keyboard, somehow something always manages to get in there. Bottled air is great for getting dust out but it sometimes just moves the big stuff around.

PROS:
The cover has a really nice soft feel to it when I type. It lessens the click-click sounds (especially with long fingernails) and just gives it a nice cushiony feel to the keyboard.

It's keeping out dust, dirt, crumbs, whatever else. My son uses the laptop almost daily and every once in a while I'll remove the cover just to see how clean the keys still are.

You can see the lit keys beneath it, and still see the letters when they aren't lit.

It doesn't leave marks on the screen when I close the laptop lid, which I was concerned about for some reason. (I think another review somewhere said that.)

CONS:
It isn't free. :)

All in all, I'd probably never go without one of these again....

mcmom says "The best headset for the very affordable price!" about Samsung WEP200

I hate headsets because I've never found one that really truly works for me. Sure, I can hear through them and I can speak and others hear me but it's they're not problem-free by any stretch of the imagination. But, I keep searching.

I was first drawn to this because it was available in my favorite color - red. Then I realized that it was small. And then, inexpensive. So I bought it to use with my iPhone.

I've been using it for more than three months as of this review. It's super easy to pair, it fits nicely in my ear and to date, has only fallen out once. The charger is a neat little case which for some reason, I like.

I find that I often have to turn the volume down on the headset because it's just too loud even while driving with the windows down. People I talk to have said that they don't even notice that I'm using a headset which is important to me. I hate when people use headsets that make them sound far away or like they're standing in a silo. One time I was standing outside and......

mcmom says "Non-gaming mom thrilled with the durability!" about Nintendo WaveBird Wireless Controller for GameCube

We've had this controller for at least 3 years now. I bought it because my son got close to yanking the whole game system off of his dresser a few times. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would REALLY work. Well, it does, even years later. We've even had a dog chew on the little joystick thing and it still works. Now my son sits on his bed 12 feet away and can play, no longer tethered to the system. We (I) love this controller.

I've used it for racing games like Burnout and Need for Speed, and sports games like Madden football and NBA Street, and others like Mario and Animal Crossing. It seems to work fine for me - but I'm no pro gamer either, so take that for what it's worth. We also now have a Wii and it works just fine with it, as well.

I like the durability, reliability, and ease of this product. It was more than worth the money....

mcmom says "Terrific slim case with easy in and out." about Incipio - Ranger iPhone case

I bought this the same day I bought my iPhone and couldn't wait for it to arrive. (I nestled my iPhone gently in a wrap of cotton and feathers until it got there. Just kidding.) Anyway, I don't normally like the cases for my gadgets that make the front inaccessible at all times but I really wanted the glass to have SOME protection other than a film (which I now feel is completely unnecessary since it really does NOT scratch.)

At first, the iPhone had a very snug fit in this case and even had to push the phone out from its bottom corners to get the thing out of the case. But after only a week or so, it slides in and out of the case perfectly. I've had it now and have used it exclusively since July 3rd,2007 and just love it. The phone is very easily removed when a call is coming in and I feel like it's nicely protected. It has soft quilt-like insides and nicely trimmed leather outsides.

The belt hook works fine though I've only used it a dozen or so times. It has a magnetic closure that actually......
