mbcohoe says "great phone set" about Panasonic - Dect 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System - 4 Handset System (KX-TG9334T)

Our last cordless phone gave out so I sat down and did some research on cordless phones. I kept coming back to the panasonic cordless set. All the reviews were more than positive so I decided to buy it for our home and I am so glad I did. This phone has a talking caller ID which is an important feature for our house. After two rings it announces who is calling. Another great feature of this phone is that it came with 4 handsets and you can hook up 2 more if wanted. We have one in each bedroom, one in the kitchen and one in the livingroom area. The handsets themselves are very lightweight. The handsets are easy to navigate when storing numbers too. My son loves the intercom feature. Instead of me or my husband having to yell at the kids, we can hit the intercom button and then enter the extension that is in their room and talk to them that way. It has a flash button for call waiting and it also has a hold button if you need to talk to someone in the room without the caller hearing the conversation....
...

mbcohoe says "picky eaters beware" about Jessica Seinfeld - Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food

This is a must have cookbook for any kitchen. My daughter is a nutrition major and heard about Deceptively Delicious from one of her roommates. While out shopping I bought the book for her and gave it to her over the weekend. I was skeptical, but was willing to give it a shot. I have a 17 year old who doesn't like most vegetables. My daughter decided to start with something he likes, Macaroni and Cheese. This recipe uses califlower puree. The recipe was easy to follow and easy to make. We dished it up and my son didn't even notice. We weren't going to tell him that it had califlower in it until he said he was sad that he didn't try something from the cookbook so we told him and he said he couldn't tell there was califlower in there. We also tried banana pancakes...which had banana puree. The cookbook is set up with kids in mind so it is all recipes geared for them. I was surprised and happy to find the recipes really work!!
...

mbcohoe says "perfect for a mom on the go" about Apple iPod Shuffle

I received my Ipod shuffle for mom's day last year and I love it. The shuffle is perfect for people who are on the go. Some people say that they don't like not being able to see the songs and/or artist, but I haven't had a problem with that. I add songs to my shuffle that I like and want to listen to so when a song comes on that I am not in the mood for, I just hit next and move on so for me it isn't a real issue. One of the main reasons I like my shuffle is because I can put it on and clip it to my shirt then go about cleaning or cooking, whatever I need to accomplish. It isn't big and bulkey so I don't have to worry about hitting it or breaking it. I have the blue shuffle but it comes in many different colors which is nice. I use my shuffle daily and haven't run out of room yet. I didn't really want on, but the kids thought I needed one and I am so glad that they decided to give me mine on mom's day!!
...

mbcohoe says "a lifesaver!!" about Relpax

Suffering from migraines for over 15 years, I had given up hope for help. I would go into my doctor to come out with the same old thing....there really isn't anything we can do. Well that all stopped when my current nurse practioner wrote me a rx for relpax. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. Relpax is a miracle when it comes to migraines. I had such bad migraines that I would vomit and have to be in bed for a day or two. I could count on them once a month. Relpax has stopped that. I take one pill when I notice the signs of a migraine and usually within a few minutes (sometimes up to a half an hour) the symptoms disappear. I can go about my normal day doing my normal activities. My rx is for 12 tablets and it usually lasts me for 3 months. I would say I depend on relpax for relief. I don't have any side effects either and usually I only need to take one a day (usually 2 a migraine cycle) which knocks it out.
...

mbcohoe says "Best gaming platform for the family!!" about Nintendo Wii Console

The Wii wasn't something we wanted right away. We are the kind of people who like to wait until something is out awhile before buying it. We have always had high praise for Nintendo product. We still have the old school nintendo nes system which the kids still play. So finally we decided since it was in the store we would buy it and we are SO HAPPY that we did. This system has given us so many hours of family fun. We own several games which all the family can play. The system is set up without all the huge graphic that some older and younger player have trouble with. It is very family friendly so all memeber can be in the room. Another plus is that there is several games to help with fitness which most of the other systems is lacking. The wii has you up and being active and having fun in all the same moment. The system itself is pretty resonable as far as systems go..it won't break the bank and the games are real resonable as well. In the market for a gaming system the wii is the way to...
...

mbcohoe says "Great for the teenager in your house" about Proactiv Solution 3 Step System Kit

We have been using proactive for a few years now. My sister got us started on it. She has a teen that was having trouble with acne. She had good things to say so I decided to try for my two teenagers. My daughter started using it first. She started using Proactive and we were really happy with the results. She went from having pretty good breakouts to having almost none. She uses the kit which is a three step procedure. She also uses this cream at night. We were really skeptical thinking it was another one of those things stars were advertising, but it really does work. My son was really against using it. He started breaking out with some acne but didn't want to use anything. My daughter finally convienced him to give it a try. That was over a year ago and now he is 17. If he doesn't use his proactive daily we can tell. He breaks out. Proactive is set up so you can set your shipments up to suit your needs. I feel this is a must have for any family with teens!! Good luck!!
...
