mariposa326 says "Great park, but almost too big" about San Diego Animal Park

We were just in San Diego a couple of weeks ago on our honeymoon, and the Wild Animal Park was one of our stops. I like how they had it set up where we walk through quite a few other exhibits before getting to the "safari" part of the park, but we were beginning to wonder exactly how far we had to go to finally get there! The bus ride we took through the African safari part was so cool, getting to see all the animals in their "natural habitats." It also made it very enjoyable that we had a great tour guide, explaining everything to us. There were a couple of parts of the tour where it seemed like we just went by the animals too fast, and later we found out that the tours were limited to 25 minutes, which was one thing I didn't like, because the time went by so fast.

Another thing we didn't like so much was that the exhibits were so spread out. I didn't mind the hiking part, which was what you had to do to get to the various exhibits throughout the park, some of the paths being extremely...
...

mariposa326 says "The best zoo I have ever been to!" about The San Diego Zoo - San Diego, CA

We just went to San Diego for our honeymoon on March 9, and this was our first stop Monday when we got out and about. It completely met our expectations, and then some! We had bought the San Diego Go Card (which was worth every penny, btw) so it covered our admission, along with the fees for the Sky Ride and bus tour. I thought the set up of the zoo was slightly confusing, but once we figured out where we were and where we wanted to go and had already seen, it was amazing. The way they have their displays set up was fantastic and very informative, and almost all of the animals were out, which made it even better. I would highly recommend this zoo to anyone who is visiting the area, and I hope I get the chance to go back out there sometime!
...

mariposa326 says "Good prices, good items, just be patient! " about Lakeside Collection

I read some of the other reviews of Lakeside and I find it hard to believe that some people have had such bad experiences. I've ordered items from Lakeside about 5 different times and have only had one problem, where they sent the wrong size of a pair of sandals. Other than that, I haven't had any problems that would make me really upset. People have to understand that some popular items are going to get backordered or become out of stock, that's a part of ordering things and not buying from a store.

I like the fact that they have a huge variety of items to order and their prices are inexpensive and reasonable. I've bought all kinds of holiday decorations and gifts, and haven't had any problems with things not working or not being able to hang something up. There have even been some things I have seen at Lakeside that I have not been able to find anywhere else, or for a cheaper price.

The one thing that Lakeside does that I do not like is if they have to ship my order in two or three separate...
...

I got started with facebook a couple of years ago when it was just open to college students, and I liked the website a lot more when it was like that. It is a great way to connect with people that you go to school with or went to school with in the past. I reconnected with a lot of my old friends that way, and it was awesome. I also like how we can add photo albums, which is very easy to do on facebook.

Then they opened the website up to everyone, and it has started to turn into a website like myspace, where people become like spammers, asking anyone and everyone to be their friends. They have added these applications now, too. Some of them are fun, but a lot of them are juvenile and junk up a person's profile. Some of my friends have so many applications on their profile that it takes five minutes to scroll down to where I can post a message for them! Like I said before, it's reminding me more and more of myspace. It is still a good site for people who want to get connected with old/current...
...

I discovered Viewpoints through MyPoints, and it has kept me so occupied, I love it! Where I work, if I don't have any customers, I pretty much don't have any work to do. I do, however, get to look online at most websites, including this one, so that makes me happy! I get to spend lots of time on here :)

It is such a great website to learn about pretty much whatever you want! I love going through and reading what everyone has to say on things that I have and movies I love, as well as things that I don't like or am planning/wanting to buy. This website was a fantastic idea because it's something adults of all ages can utilize and we get personal opinions of everything that we normally wouldn't get from a biased employee at a store or a company website.
...

This is definitely a movie for little kids, so beware if you are an adult watching it with your children. i thought it looked cute, took a chance and watched it. the songs in it are great and the storyline is good, but it wasn't as adult-worthy of the movies like shrek and finding nemo. there were some reaches, but it didn't quite make it. like i said before, it's great for kids, especially ones who like to get up and dance because it will provide them with plenty of material for that....

this is one of the best holiday classics ever made! the songs are ones that everyone can love and sing during the holidays, we have them burnt on cds to jam to at christmastime every year. bing crosby's voice reminds me of christmas, this fantastic movie, and the happiness it brings when i watch it. there aren't any scenes you have to watch out for, so anyone can watch the movie, which makes it even more of a family favorite.
...

adam sandler is such a great actor and comedian, there are only a couple of his movies i don't absolutely love. this was such a great date type of movie to go and see, it kept us laughing throughout, and even made me cry at one point! (the only other adam sandler i cried at was spanglish) it was a very heartfelt movie, and makes you think about your life and the way you live it afterwards. it had a good message for its viewers, i recommend it highly to everyone.
...

I thought this would be great since it had Johnny Depp in it, and I'm a big fan of him, but I was wrong. I thought this version focused too much on Willy Wonka and less on Charlie than it did before. I didn't really like how the Oompa Loompas were just the one guy, even though he was pretty funny in some parts. This version also seemed a lot darker-minded than fun and imaginative like the original. I am usually a fan of remakes or different takes on original movies, but this one lacked to me....

Oh my gosh, this movie was unbelievable! It kept me going the whole way through. Some of the scenes were so real, and there were some pretty cool twists and turns that made my jaw drop. There was non-stop action and suspense, it was awesome. This movie made me even more of a Mark Wahlberg fan than I was before. He is so amazing, especially when it comes to these action movies. I would love to see some kind of sequel to this, it was so great there almost has to be another one coming....

This is such a great movie for the whole family, and Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are fantastic actors throughout. They couldn't have picked better children to play the little boys in the movie. It was such a great idea to have the movie based around the Peter Pan concept but from a completely different standpoint that we didn't expect. It gave us a whole new understanding about how the tale was written (i've heard it's based on a true story) and provided a great basis for a movie. The few times I've seen it I've cried each time, it was so moving. So, if you are a crier like me, be forewarned! It's a tear-jerker!
...

mariposa326 says "Heh? " about Premonition

I was really excited to see this movie since the previews make it seem like it would be so good. Let's just say I was really let down instead. The story felt like it was going to pick up over and over (and over and over) again, but it never did, or at least I never did. The story was a good idea because it wasn't the same old one that's been done a hundred times over, but it ended up not being as good as we thought it would be. It was one of those films that showed most of the good scenes in the previews and kind of lets the audience down when they're watching it....

Some of my friends got me into this movie when I was in junior high. They kept singing the songs and saying quotes and finally I decided that I had to see this movie. I became a groupie with them! This is certainly not something young children should see, but I think it's a movie that teenagers and adults of all ages can get a kick out of. The songs are great and some of the scenes are classics. Anyone who is a fan of musicals would love this movie, especially if you are into movies that are somewhat off-the-wall! I have yet to go to a live showing of this movie in the theater, I've heard it's something spectacular if you do go!...

mariposa326 says "stupid movie, not worth it" about The Number 23

So I heard lots of not-very-good things about this movie, and I was dumb enough to go and see it, hoping everyone was wrong and I might like it. Needless to say, everyone was right. Jim Carrey was about the only good part of this movie (which is why it gets two stars instead of one), and I didn't even like him that much in it. I thought there would be some hope in the beginning because it seemed like the plot could get really interesting, but then there were these really weird sex scenes that just seemed wrong for Jim Carrey to be in. I know that's typecasting the man, but like I said, it just seemed wrong for him. The whole thing about the number 23 being all around us was a pretty cool basis for a movie, but I think there could have been a better way of making it into one....

I had heard so many good things about this movie, everyone said it was action-packed and something I just had to see. So without even seeing it, my fiance goes out and buys the movie. We both agreed that it was really a lot of blood, guts, and fighting. And then there was a random sex scene that had us thinking we were watching some sort of porn at the beginning. It did have a good story once it got started, so at least it had that part going good for the movie. I guess it's more of a "guy's movie" when I think about it, so any girls that haven't seen it, be prepared....

The Bourne Series is totally action-packed, and this one definitely didn't let me down when it came to keeping me on the edge of my seat and engrossed in the movie. I do agree with other reviews that some of the action scenes are enough to make a person dizzy, but I didn't think it was so bad that I would have to stop watching the movie. It wrapped up everything we wanted to know about Jason Bourne and still kept up the pace with the two previous movies. It made the series a great collection....

I love, love, love Harry Potter! This movie went along well with the series and was a good adaptation of the book. I wish that it had included more information about the Order of the Phoenix, but I still think that it included enough of the story told in the book that it went with the rest of the series. As long as you have seen the rest of the movies or read the other books, this movie is one that you can enjoy and understand. This one isn't one of my favorites since there is the death and the story is a little darker than the rest, but it still left me longing for the next film to come out....

From what I saw in the previews, I thought this movie would be great. There were a lot of really funny scenes that had me laughing pretty hard, but overall, I didn't think that it was as funny as I originally expected it to be. I laughed harder in some of the out-take scenes than a lot that were in the movie itself. I didn't see the necessity in the scenes showing the live birth, either. It didn't flow with how the rest of the movie went and was more shock-valued than anything else. The friends were hilarious, though, so I did like the crazy scenes that had them in it.
...
