margie77099 says "Great camera to get started taking pictures" about Kodak - EasyShare C310 Digital Camera

The C310 Digital Camera is a pretty decent camera and if you had asked before I went on vacation I would have said it was a great camera. Until then I never needed more than just a basic camera. On vacation, however, I realized I could have used a camera with a zoom lens....

T-Mobile is a pretty easy company to deal with. Their local stores are staffed by knowledgeable staff and customer service by phone is great too. ...

margie77099 says "Can they come make me over, please" about What Not To Wear

I look forward to watching this show each week. I even stay up late to catch it. It is full of information about fashion, how to dress for your age, what colors work for skin tones, and how to dress your particular body type. I really like the Stacie and Clinton, but sometimes I can't believe they said that. I would hope that they realize they are ripping someone's sense of self to shreds. They are often catty and belittling. Yes, I know that they are trying to help but do they really have to be so demeaning? I have issues with the people being made over. If you're not willing to take the advice, DON'T take the money. If you're not willing to try from the very beginning, stay home. It pisses me off when they say they're going to do what they want regardless. Usually during the second day shopping when they have the hosts with them they do a complete turn around, but why can't they have that attitude from the beginning. I understand not being sure about what they are picking out, being...
...

margie77099 says "Not very good this season." about HOUSE M.D.

Let me tell you how I approach TV series. If I love it, it bothers me to miss even a single episode. If I like it, I want to watch but if I have to miss an episode I promise myself I'll catch it in reruns. But there are those shows that are just filler until what I really want to watch comes on. Last season, I really loved House. I didn't want to miss a single episode. I found the characters well written and defined. House was the guy you loved to hate but you knew that by the end of the show he would redeem himself. Also, last season, I waited with anticipation to see what would happen with his drug use. I watched as colleagues and friends put their careers on the line for him. And I watched as he basically thumbed his nose at their efforts. I was very disappointed. Would the character have lost by not being an addict? Couldn't he continue to be an a** without the drugs? Wouldn't he continue to be an awesome?

I have not really been interested in watching him much this season. House...
...

margie77099 says "This is a wonderful book." about Arrows of the Queen

Mercedes Lackey is a wonderful author. Her books capture the imagination almost from the first page. She is also very prolific. I actually read Arrows after I read the Last Herald Mage series. It was great because it filled in the blanks for some of the references in that series. Oh, by the way, Arrows is a series also. This woman can not write a bad book.

The story in Arrows centers around a Herald who must advise the queen and her Companion and their adventures. Heralds are the protectors of Valdemar and are "chosen" by the Companions (intelligent, white, horse like creatures). No one knows exactly what they are. Not just anyone can become a Herald. They must have some trait or talent that is useful to the kingdom. They must also be telepathic to some degree because that is the main form of contact with their companions. Some can only hear their companion, some can hear other companions, but seldom are the Heralds able to hear the other humans around them.

Arrows touches on war, betrayal,...
...

margie77099 says "I can't wait to get the new one!!" about Reader's Digest Magazine

What can I say about Reader's Digest that hasn't already been said. I love this magazine. I read it from cover to cover and that's not something I can say about many magazines. I really enjoy "That's Outrageous". I even read the letters to the editor. I will carry it with me everywhere until I have finished reading it, even into the bathroom. I have pulled articles out to keep for my family or friends to read. The subscription price is very reasonable for the quality of the magazine....

margie77099 says "I was not impressed." about Cardmaker Magazine

I receive my first issue of Cardmaker Magazine free and was looking forward to receiving it because I was just starting to get interested in making my own cards. I was very disappointed because it had few cards that I would consider making. Maybe if they had more examples of a particular card type and how to use it might have made it more functional for me. I decided not to subscribe because it would not have been used. I'll stick to books about cardmaking....
