maremare says "Best decision ever made with my two dogs that were both rescued!" about Dog Rescues

We have rescued all our pets over the years from various sources. Our current dog family members were both rescued, the border collie/lab mix from the (pound) humane society (Lex was returned to the pound and then sent to the local men's prison for training) and he is a doll! With his new training he came to our family and fit in like a dream! We have had him for two years now, and just added a Shih Tzu to the family this past October. I found Roscoe on Craigslist, he belonged to a family that could not keep up with his grooming and care, I ended up driving about 400 miles in one day round trip to pick him up (including a trip to his vet for records that turned into a visit for a checkup and shots), the owner waived the rehoming fee of $50 because I was willing to travel so far, figured that I was a good placement for her dog. He is a great addition to our family!!! Lex loves him and treats him so well, they play and sleep all day together (love to watch them play tug-of-war...
...

maremare says "Great washer and dryer, saves time and money!" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

I have had the Whirlpool Duet set since the first of September, and I love them!!! You do not use much soap (I am using the Ecos brand from Costco, highly concentrated, about 2 tbl per load), water consumption is down, and I find the length of cycles quite reasonable. I have no complaints about this set. I find that no matter how large the load, clothes come out clean. I can wash my king size comforter and very thick king mattress pad with no problem in this set, before I had to send them out since my washer/dryer couldn't handle the bulk. Same thing for sleeping bags, these machines handle them like a charm!

I just got the kit to stack them so I can put my freezer here on the main floor. I will let you know how the stacking works out when we get that done.
...
