marciag7 says "Wouldn't buy again" about Motorola - Razr V3 Cell Phone

OK, so the Motorola V3m Razr was the "Hot" phone to get when I signed up with new service from Verizon earlier this year. If I recall correctly, the phones I purchased were free after rebate or something. Everybody had a Razr, everybody who didn't have one wanted one. So, I caved in, got the Razr, and now I hate it. I actually bought 2, one for me and one for my hubby. The main reason I am so unhappy is that it is constantly in search of a signal, which is wearing down the battery when we are out of service area (which my home is out of). So, if I don't want the battery to wear out, I have to turn the phone off when I am at home, then remember to turn it on when I go to town (I usually forget). My previous Motorola phone, the v505, did not have this problem. I know it is not a defective phone because both razrs are doing it. Bummer. My second beef is that the camera is screwy. I don't like how the picture takes forever to take, it reminds me of the Flintstones, where a bird is hidden in......

marciag7 says "A taste of Heaven" about Lawry's Sesame Ginger 30 Minute Marinade

OK, so I don't usually try new foods, but I decided to try a different sauce for barbecue-ing a few weeks ago. I stumbled across Lawry's 30 minute marinades because they were on sale for $2.50. I can't even remember the other flavor I purchased because I am so enamored of the Sesame Ginger. We grilled thin-sliced steak, without marinating, just using the marinade like a bbq sauce, and they were the best steaks we have ever had! It was like eating candy, let me tell you! Now, a couple of days later, we tried it on some pan-cooked chicken breast, and it wasn't so great. So, I have yet to figure out if it was the pan cooking or the chicken that caused it to change in flavor. But I have to highly recommend this marinade for grilling steak!...

marciag7 says "Great battery-operated Sharpener, go get one for yourself!!" about Battery Pencil Sharpener,Uses 4AA,Auto Cut Off Sensor,Silver

OK, so I went from owning manual sharpeners to this little battery-powered wonder, so I can't really compare it to the plug-in types. However, after using the iPoint by Wescott battery operated pencil sharpener, I can say I will never buy a plug-in in the future. I love the portability, take it with me to ball games when I am scorekeeper (because a sharp pencil is an absolute MUST, and I despise mechanicals). With the manual sharpeners, the lead would always break, however I have had this sharpener for over a year and have yet to break a lead. It might be a little slower than a plug-in model, so if you are looking for a classroom sharpener, this might not be for you. But if you need one for your home or office, this is a great little device that I highly recommend!!...
