I had a bunch of cans of the Enfamil formula either given to me or sent to me by Enfamil. I must have had at least 10 cans, so I was stoked. I figured I was set for a while, right? I mean, this stuff is EXPENSIVE. Also, Enfamil seems to be the only company that sells those individual packets of the formula which I assume are pretty handy.

Unfortunately my daughter and Enfamil did not mix well. She spit up A LOT when I tried to feed this to her. And it didn't smell good - but I haven't found a formula that really does.

So I just figured that I had a baby that spit up a lot. Makes sense, right? A friend (who has a few children) said that she thought it was the formula and that I should try a different one. Nothing in particular - just a different one. I did and what a huge difference it made.

So, I'm not saying that the product is not a good product. What I AM saying is that you need to experiment and try different formulas and watch to see which ones work better with...

So my daughter got a rash and I was panicked. I had a couple of choices available to me that were gifts from my baby shower and wasn't sure which to choose. I grabbed the Butt Paste because it caught my eye - probably more because of the funny name and the goofy looking kid on the front and the red font more than anything.

It was night time and I was about to go to bed so I lathered it on a bit thick. The next morning I went to change her diaper and I am not kidding, that rash was 80% gone. 100% by the end of the day. You don't question those type of results. This stuff works like a charm. The color may seem a bit off but it's, um, going on their BUTT! Doesn't really need to be a special color - just needs to work. It also seems a little thick and you may think you are putting too much...but that's fine. A large tub lasts me at least 3-4 months and we use every day. It doesn't stick to your hand anymore than any other ointment sticks to your hands and it washes off...

I bought the Kiss MY Face daily moisturizer at the local organic market today. I had just taken a shower and washed my face. It had been about an hour and my face was feeling a little dry already. I don't have oily skin...pretty normal (T zone) so I'm thinking that maybe my face wash is drying my skin out a bit but not so much that I want to change it. My current moisturizer was definitely not doing the job though.

The store has a tester so when I arrived I saw it and put some on my face. I proceeded to do my grocery shopping. About an hour later I was ready to leave. I walked past the Kiss My Face counter and remembered that I had put it on earlier. My skin felt really nice so I decided to buy a jar. It's not cheap...but not expensive either. Definitely worth it for me to invest in one jar and see how it works over time. Based on my experience so far I think this will be my moisturizer of choice for a while.

I'm a diabetic (type II) and my nutritionist suggested that I look into the South Beach Diet. I also had a baby a year and a half ago and have been having trouble getting the extra weight off. I was always a solid (and healthy) size 8, but now I was a size 12 and hating it.

He told me I could skip the first phase and try to eat the way phase 2 and 3 are suggested. So I bought the book and read it cover to cover. I realized that I DID eat like Phase 2 and 3 already so I thought, well maybe I can do Phase 1 for the 2 weeks as suggested see what happens. So I did.

I lost 7 pounds in those 2 weeks. I felt really good. I followed their suggestions and made sure to always have the right foods on hand (this is KEY) - because hunger without the right ingredients immediately on hand won't work. After the 1st week I was pretty much over eating raw veges, so I looked up lots of different green veggie recipes. It's been 2 weeks since I stopped and Im still slowly and steadily losing...

This is a pretty fun gadget - my daughter loves to see the image. She loves Hello Kitty! So, basically this is just a toaster that toasts an awesome image on the bread. Simple and fun. Yes, white bread is basically the only toast you can use...maybe any other light colored bread, but come on, it's novelty right? And think about it, for a 2 tone image on bread can you expect a dark image on dark bread?...
