mamontenegro says "It does everything!" about Canon PIXMA MP210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

The Canon 3-in-1 Inkjet Printer is the printer I've been looking for to complement my printing/scanning and copying needs. It's also a great product for the price. I got mine for about forty dollars, and I also feel like Canon offers inexpensive ink cartridges when my ink runs out. From the moment I opened the package to today, I have felt like the product has been so easy to use. Setup took just a few minutes, thanks to the easy to follow instructions that were included, and I am certain that anyone, even the most technologically disadvantaged can use this product. The printer and copier functions create high quality documents and photos, and I love the way that I can connect my digital camera directly to the printer to print photos without the use of a computer, eliminating a step that can often be a hassle when I'm in a hurry. The on-screen directions that appear every time I want to scan a document or photo are also easy to follow, and I can scan several documents in a matter of minutes....
...

mamontenegro says "Perfect for everyday use" about Hp Pavilion Entertainment PC

I have had my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC for almost two years now, and I'm very pleased with its performance. I've found that I usually have to switch my computers every couple of years because they wear down so quickly with constant use, but this computer has been going as strong as the first day I had it. I've been able to use it for a wide variety of activities, including going online, storing lots of pictures and documents, watching DVD's and playing music and videos. It's the perfect size for toting from one place to another since it is lightweight and not as bulky as other notebooks can be. I have actual had a couple of instances where I have accidentally dropped it, but it has been durable and still works well today. Although the battery life doesn't last as long as I woud like (such as during the length of a coast to coast airline flight), its overall performance has led me to believe that HP produces good quality products. If I ever get the urge to purchase a new computer, I...
...

mamontenegro says "I'm a lazy dental patient" about Listerine Cool Mint

I'm really not the type who should be giving dental advice since I can be careless about my own dental care sometimes. I'm more of a brush and go kind of girl rather than a brush for the recommended amount of time, floss meticulously and rinse with the perfectly measured amount of mouthwash kind of girl. I've started using mouthwash as a way to complement my brushing habits, and I've found that it really does make my mouth feel healthier and my breath smell a lot fresher. After trying other mouthwashes, I have settled on Listerine. I've used many different varieties, including the vanilla flavored, mint flavored and Total Care. I've started using the Total Care most frequently, but all of them work well. I'm not exactly a fan of having to rinse for the recommended minute because it does sting a little bit, but it's so worth it because of the difference it makes in my dental health. Not only does the Listerine help to freshen breath, it also helps with making my teeth sparkle and look...
...

mamontenegro says "Worth a try" about Bounce Dryer Bar

I had been a religious user of the Bounce dryer sheets, so I thought the Bounce dryer bar was worth a try. I was impressed that it was supposed to last for up to two months, and I was excited to see if it would work as well as the dryer sheets that had become a staple to my laundry routine. I loved the concept of a bar that could be used over and over again rather than using sheet after sheet for each laundry load. At a time when we're trying to conserve resources, I thought it would also be more "earth friendly" than dryer sheets. As soon as I opened the package, I was delighted by the fresh smell. I stuck the dryer bar into my dryer and was pleased with the end result. It left my clothes without static cling and smelling fresh. The only problems that I ran into were the way that the dryer bar tended to lose its adhesive after several uses. There were a few times where I could hear it becoming detatched and making a lot of noise in my dryer. As a result of the product losing its adhesion,...
...

mamontenegro says "Fresh smell from a fresh brand" about Dove Go Fresh, Body Wash, Refresh Waterlily & Freshmint

I don't have a body wash that I'm particularly loyal to. I usually just pick up whatever is on sale or whatever I have a coupon for. But after trying Dove's Go Fresh Body Wash, I think I may stop basing my choice in body wash solely on price. I picked up the product at Target because of course, I had a coupon for it. After smelling all of the available scents, I chose the Refresh Waterlily and Fresh Mint. The product creates a rich lather, which I loved, and left my skin feeling soft and smooth. It also rinses completely, so my skin doesn't feel sticky after bathing. Even more than the product itself, I have become more and more impressed by the Dove brand and its commitment to empowering women with its "true beauty" campaign. I respect the way that the brand has committed to making women feel beautiful on the inside and out by embracing their differences and debunking the mainstream definition of beauty. If Dove continues to crank out products like the Go Fresh Body Wash, I will...
...

mamontenegro says "Good Product from a Great Company" about Mary Kay Eyeliner

As a busy young woman, I don't like to spend a lot of time or money on makeup, but I like to look presentable wherever I go. My makeup routine is always simple, and that's why I love Mary Kay's eyeliner. I have always bought my eye makeup from drugstores, believing that it wasn't worth it to pay more than $7-8 on items like eyeliner and mascara. But I ended up trying Mary Kay eyeliner at the suggestion of a friend who recently became a Mary Kay sales representative. I usually use liquid eyeliner, but I decided to try the regular black eyeliner, and I was happy with the result. The product can be applied smoothly, leaving a silky, smooth line. The only problem I found was that it smudges after a few hours. The sales representative who sold me the product, however, was able to give me suggestions on how to make the liner stay on longer. Her suggestions worked, leading me to believe that while Mary Kay makeup is not only high quality their sales representatives are also ready...
...

I started using Wen Sweet Almond Mint and Wen Fig Ceansing Conditioners about two years ago. Then, I stopped. I first tried the Sweet Almond Mint since it was supposed to be a volumizing product. The instructions on the bottle indicated to "use 10-15 pumps of the product during each use and more for longer, thicker hair." Since my hair is thin and very fine, I decided to use less--about 5 pumps. First of all, the product isn't supposed to work up a lather like most shampoos, but it tingled in my scalp, so I thought it was conditioning well. After rinsing and air-drying my hair, it felt very greasy. I thought that maybe I hadn't rinsed the conditoner out well enough, so the next time I used it, I used the same amount and took extra caution to rinse thoroughly. My hair still felt greasy. After thinking that maybe it was the product I was using that caused the greasy feel, I switched to the Wen Fig Cleaning Conditioner with the same result. That's why I discontinued use...
...

mamontenegro says "Slimy legs? Not for me!" about Gillette Venus Breeze 2 in 1 Razor for Women

The Gillette Venus Breeze 2-in-1 is a razor that I will not be buying again. I tried it because I had a coupon for it and with the summer months and pool and beach time upon us, I couldn't skip shaving my legs! Even with the coupon the product was more than I usually pay for similar products, but I was hoping that I would get what I paid for and that the value of the product would be matched with its performance. I also really thought that the bar of cream surrounding the razor would cut down on shaving time and that I wouldn't need to use an additional product such as shaving cream or soap. Boy, was I wrong. Rather than cutting down on time spent in the shower, I actually ended up spending more time washing off the slimy residue that the aforementioned cream surrounding the razor left on my skin. In addition, the cream actually made it more difficult to shave as it was so thick and I had to press the razor down much harder than I like on my skin in order to feel like I was...
...

I had never heard of Burt's Bees products until I first used one of the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer products. I had actually been a loyal Softlips customer and had never paid much attention to other similar products. However, I was on a cross-country trip back home when I ran out of my last bit of Softlips! It was like a nightmare--a five hour flight and no way to moisturize my lips! I made my way to the nearest airport convenience shop and looked for Softlips and saw that it was nowhere to be found. Instead, I saw a display of yellow packaged beauty products and decided to give the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer a try. I figured that anything would be better than plain old Chapstick. When I first applied the Lip Shimmer, I got a slight tingle on my lips so I knew that it was working. I was pleased that I never once (not even after beverage service) had to reapply during my flight. Because the product was long-lasting, the .09 oz tube lasted for a long time. When I got my second...
...

mamontenegro says "Some benefits but not my favorite lip product" about C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lips

The CO Bigelow Apothecaries brand is one that I usually trust because their products are natural and the company touts itself as "honest, genuine and trustworthy." They typically live up to their motto. It's also an animal friendly company as none of their cosmetic products are tested on animals. At the recommendation of my sister, I decided to try out their mint-infused Mentha Lip Tint, which is available at popular retailer Bath and Body Works. I picked up the Bare Mint shade, which according to the shading on the packaging was a reddish-brown shade for $7.50, which is more than I like to usually spend on a lip moisturizing product. I was pleased when I initially put it on as it left my lips with that tingly feeling that you get when a lip product is working. But as the day went on, it started to feel a little too goopy on my lips. Aside from the feeling it leaves after several hours of wear, the color wasn't really a tint at all. In fact, I could barely make out any color. ...
...

I've never been much of an exercise and fitness fanatic. I'm the type of girl who walks to the mailbox and back and then calls it a day. But, understanding the role that exercise plays in a healthy lifestyle, I decided to try the wii fit. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't believe that a video game console could really double as a fitness routine, but I was proven wrong the first time I tried it. The wii balance board helped me to gauge my weight, body mass index and "wii fit age," which tells you how your body performs in relation to y our actual age. There are a great variety of activities to try everyday, including yoga, balance games, strength activities and cardio/aerobic exercises, so you never get bored! The wii fit trainers who guide you through each activity allow you to work at your pace, give you encouraging remarks when needed and correct you when you're performing a move incorrectly. Overall, the wii fit is a great way to gauge your fitness level...
...

As a simple girl who doesn't like to wear a lot of makeup, I've been using high-end lipgloss for years because I believe lip color is a great and simple way to improve your look. But I had a coupon for Max Factor Lipfinity, and decided to try it. I've been using it ever since. I once went to bed with it on and the color didn't budge or smudge at all over night, and there were no stains on my pillow. The color looks slick and shiny when it's on and it lasts until you want it to come off. Also, the product doesn't flake off of your lips or peel when you try to remove it. Max Factor Lipfinity lip gloss is easy to apply and it comes in great shades that can suit any skin tone. It especially works well for night but you can also find great shades for the day. In a time when the economy isn't exactly at its best, this product is definitely one that I would recommend for anyone who is trying to save money (it only costs about $7 per tube and coupons are available in several national...
...

I have extremely dry skin, especially in the wintertime. I especially have trouble finding good moisturizers that work well for the tough spots like feet, hands, knees and elbows. But I've found that Bath and Body Works Body Butters relieve dry skin while leaving behind a great scent! While other similar moisturizers and body butter products work for a short time and then leave skin feeling drier than before applying the product, Bath and Body Works Body Butters last all day long (or until you wash it off) without getting greasy or oily. The product absorbs into the skin and leave skin feeling super-soft. The great scents make you feel luxurious, and with floral scents, sweet scents, and fresh natural scents, everyone can find a scent that they love. My favorites are the Moonlght Path and Brown Sugar scents, but all of them are great! I like to stock up during the Bath and Body Works semi-annual sales when there are great deals on all products.
...

Neutrogena Skin ID is by far, the best acne treatment I have ever used. I have struggled with acne since I was a teen, and as an adult I have not been able to find a better acne treatment system. The personalized treatment ensures that you get the right products for your skin type and lifestyle. After taking the simple survey to get your personalized products, you get a two month supply of your products. Although the price seems high at first, it's actually a great value because it lasts for a long time and it works so well that you don't have to use it as frequently as other products. The best part is that it's more than a system of creams, face washes and medications. Membership to Skin ID also allows you access to dermatologists who are on call to answer your questions about your skin. Also, the customer service representatives provide great services and are prepared to answer any of your questions. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for great skin.
...
