We used to spend a fortune in heat bills because our old farmhouse has an old furnace that requires "heating oil", which is more expensive than natural gas in our neck of the woods. This past year we decided to approach heating our home in another way. We invested in a couple of Eden Pure Quartz Infrared Portable Heaters.

These heaters are fantastic! They are super quiet and cool to the touch. It is so nice to have space heaters that won't burn young guests. Evenmore, there are 13 different heat settings, yes 13! So, you can really get the heat level just where you want it. It is equipped with a remote control which is a must for lazy folks like us!!! But the very best part is that we saved a ton of money this year by using the Eden Pures. We shaved at least a couple thousand off our annual heating expenses.

Smart Balance Buttery Spread Light, now with flax oil has a permanent slot on my shopping list. I use this for anything that calls for butter. Cookie recipes, sauteing veggies, you name it!! It has such a smooth, butter like taste and none of the butter like effects on our health. We like to use the "light" because it has even less of the saturated fat than the original product contains. This is one of those products that I first bought on sale with a coupon because I didn't think it would be any good. Boy, was I ever wrong!! This stuff is great! Even just spreading it on toast is very enjoyable. I am so glad to have found this product because it definitely fits in with a healthy lifestyle. I feel good about serving this to my family.

About 6 months ago,on a Saturday, I had woke up with a really bad sore throat and of course my general practioner was not open. So, on a whim and desperate for some type of relieve that didn't include the urgent care clinic, I stopped by our local natural health store. After explaining my symptoms to the owner, she suggested Throat Rescue Spray by Peaceful Mountain. It was about $15.00, but I figured it was a lot cheaper than the urgent care clinic plus buying an prescribed antibiotic, so I gave it a shot. This stuff really works well. Granted, it did take a day or so before I really felt great, but it worked. I was really very surprised by that. It is all natural and you can't over use it.

Since discovering Throat Rescue, I have not had to go to the doctor for throat problems and neither has any of my family. At the first sign of a sore throat, we spray the product according to it's directions and believe it or not.... the sore throat is stopped in it's tracks before...

We just bought our second bottle of Clean & Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer and couldn't be happier with our purchase. This moisturizer is probably the only thing that me and my 3 teenaged daughters can agree about in the morning!! We love that it has sunscreen. We love that it doesn't clog our pores or make us break out. My whole family loves the SportsArt Fitness C570R recumbent bike. In our household it is hard to find a piece of fitness equipment that each and every one of us can utilize to it's fullest and feel completely satisfied throughout the process. Our heights range from 5 foot even to 6 foot even and we all are able to adjust the bike to perfection. The control panel is so easy to understand by even the youngest member of our family. But, all of that aside, the very best feature in my opinion is that it requires no electricity. This machine is totally green. Sure, it may be a little pricey, but it more than pays for itself. Once the initial investment is made, you'll never have to invest another penny. It makes all of us happy that the bike is completely run on our own energy-- even the fan will stop if you stop pedalling. Talk about insipration to continue!! This bike is used daily at my house.
