mainecyn says "Top 10" about Clairol Perfect 10 Haircolor

I enjoyed having the ease of only having to keep it on for 10 min. It seemed at first that it would be difficult to apply using the new brush, but applied easily, and without the mess that using the bottle causes. I applied it in my bathroom and was able to get up and walk around without it making a mess. While I found it easy and quick to use, the only disappointing thing I found was that it didn't cover the temple area as well, maybe it was just me since I have to leave this area covered longer when using the regular product and dont always get full coverage. I did find that the perfect 10 covered what small amount of silver I had in my hair-but again, the darker area of hair left on my temple area bothered me. It cost a little more than the normal Nice And Easy product (I paid $12 for it on sale). I am not sure what colors are available in a larger market area, but the only ones I could find were light Auburn (what I used), Brown, and a Black, usually I use a reddish brown color from......

mainecyn says "Fit into my fastfood approach to skincare" about Neutrogena anti stress

While I dont suffer really from acne, I do suffer from ocassional breakouts, and have "stressed" skin, fair complexion, and everything seems to be to harsh for it. I first tried this product as a free sample that neutrogena sent in the mail. I have to be honest, I'm a sucker for freebies, love to collect all the different beauty products, but rarely if ever do I buy any of them after trying. I tried the neutrogena anti-stress, for about a week, them went out and bought some. I didn't find it to harsh to use on my skin, reminded me of the St. Ives aprt. product, but smoother and different smell, also face felt refreshed, not stripped, after used it. I so fair have to say that it is right up there with the Mario B. acne products, their drying lotion and a mask are the only other products I have purchased after trying a sample....

mainecyn says "Felt I was "taken"" about Oreck XL Ultra Vacuum

I couldn't agree with you more. I bought this very same model, thought it would be the answer to my prayers dealing with mult. pets and children. While I found the vac to be light (when the bag wasn't full), and it did also work well on hard surfaces..there were many more draw backs. The bags, like you say, stunk! Not only that, but the clip that held the bag on actually broke. I also had to take to cutting the stuff off the roller. I found it a pain to have to constantly go and get another vac to use the "tools". I swear the thing ate threw the belts, did a horrible time sucking up dog hair. It required servicing within months on getting it. I took the worthless thing to the vac shop here in our town and the lady told me that they acutally refuse to service these things for several reasons, but 1st being that orek didn't always hold up to their end on the warranty work, and 2 they just required so much time, she abso. said that she wished I had called and asked her opinion, or at least......

mainecyn says "Couldn't Even Give It away" about Bissell LiftOff Revolution Pet Vacuum

UGH, wish I had listened to reviews I had read on the target website before I had bought this product..I purchased it expecting it to do just what it said it would. This vacuum has to be the absolute worst product I have purchased.

From the very first time I used this vacuum, half the time it only pushed the hair around the carpet. I kept telling myself that it was a less expensive vacuum, so I would of course have to go over the carpet a few extra times, but I never expected it to look like I never even vacuumed after I was done. This machine clogged on dog hair the first time I used it, just fine straight dog hair, wasn't even a hairball. This should have been a sign, it continued to clog everytime I used it (and the clogs just got worse every time and seemed difficult to reach them since they were always half way up the tube, or just inside the hole in the vacuum. I never had enough good results with any of the attachments, they would not lift up the dog hair that the makers said it...
...

mainecyn says "Wish I had found this one first!" about Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum

I have to admit that I was unsure about purchasing this vacuum, my prior experience with a Bissell was a let down. I did a great deal of studying before I invested in this vacuum, checking out many sites looking for user reviews, consumer reports etc. I have a home with a 10 and 9 year old, a one year old monster dog who sheds his weight in hair each day, 2 parakets, and a g. pig..not to mention LOTS of dust that blows in from an unlandscaped yard. The vacuum was easy to assemble, took min. While it is a little on the heavier side, I find that while I am using the vacuum, the weight isn't a big deal. A huge plus is the fact that unlike all the other bagless vacs that I've owned, the ones with the hepa filters etc, it doesn't blow dust around and I dont end up sneezing (my 9 year old and I suffer from ashma, and everyone in the house also suffer from allergies). After the first use, I was shocked and appalled at the amount of DIRT that I found in the cup. It cleans great, nothing gets by......

mainecyn says "save your money" about Geico

I have been a customer all my adult years of driving. I was in an accident this Feb. It took them until April to finally have an adjuster come and look at my car, then declare it totalled. I had to handle all the leg work with my bank and them-calling them daily to find out what was going on, where was the payment for the leinholder-who called me several times every day threatening me for payment. I also have medical bills from the accident, I paid for the coverage, and surprise, the bills still aren't paid as well. Whenever, I call, it seems like no one knows what is going on, I keep leaving messages that go unanswered. The accident was not my fault, and yet, my credit is now in the toliet due to non-payment, late payments etc. I don't recommend them..you get what you pay for, and I learned that the hard way. If you live in a state with more people (I'm in Wyoming), they generally have an adjuster available, but in my situation, they had to hire an independent and they were in no hurry.......

mainecyn says "Big Bang for the Buck" about HP Pavilion M8000N Desktop Computer

I have to admit I never considered a hp when I was searching for a desktop. Our family had never had the internet at home, in the past we had had several hand me down computers of different brands, but I wanted to find something that was simple to use, especially for my children ages 10, and 8, I had originally been looking for a DELL, the only brand I was comfortable with , after working with them over the years. My only difficulty was the fact that I would not have the cash to lay down all at once, would need to apply for credit. I went thru all the motions with Dell, had a model all picked out, deal all set, then was denied for credit! So, I found my HP when my boyfriend told me that his first home computer was an hp, that they were reliable, easy to use, lots of power and run to grow..I went online, applied for their hp card, was approved, and picked out my hp pavilion. My only "con" on this purchase, it comes (just got mine less than year ago) with VISTA, and I totally dislike this......
