maikhanh81 says "Bad quality picture at low light environment" about Nikon - Coolpix S200 Digital Camera

I bought this camera with somewhat high expectation since I saw very good reviews online. However, when I started to use it, I am total disatisfied with the picture quality especially if use indoor with flash. The outdoor in daylight is fine. The picture quality is worse than my 6 years old 3.2Mp Canon digital camera. Besides the slim, attractive design, I am not content with the camera. ...

maikhanh81 says "Good value laptop" about Hewlett Packard HP Pavillion DV6000 Laptop

I recently purchased a HP laptop special edition DV6700T (white and silver color) under $1000 with quite powerful components (T7500, 2G, 8400MS, 160GB, 12cell etc) from HP Home. I am quite content with my new "toy" except the integrated microphone and webcam. HP webcam from what I've known has software problem and I have to use the software from Acer to run HP webcam. If we use the driver provided by HP, we could turn it on once then if we turn it off and want to reopen it, we have to restart the computer. Painful process! Besides that, I don't have any problem with it. Cute look, powerful.

I also purchased another HP laptop at Circuit City DV6662SE at about the same price. The components are not as powerful but the overall performance is satisfactory. The machine runs extremely smooth (except the webcam and mic problem mentioned above) and never be overheated. The cooling system is excellent. It really is a laptop which you can put on your lap without worrying about burning.
...

maikhanh81 says "Nice design but not too great performance" about LG - KG 320 Chocolate bar Cell Phone

In the beginning, I loved my new cell phone because of all the features it had at an affordable price. The picture quality is pretty nice with 1.3Mpixels. It can store mp3 which can be used as ringtones too.

I started to dislike it when the battery started to die within a day or two in standby mode. The reception (signal) is poor in US. It's ok in Vietnam though.

Overall, just the short-life battery is a big turn off for me because if I don't remember to charge it everyday then I won't have a cell phone to use the next day.
...

maikhanh81 says "Super fun and easy to use game system" about Nintendo Wii Console

I heard about the Wii for such a long time. My sibblings love it after they tried it at Sig Flags Magic Mountain. We just got one system last Friday (Black Friday) at Gamestop after waiting since 4am in the morning. It is an awesome gaming system. After the first date playing bowling, boxing (especially boxing), we are all sore everywhere because of the "excersize" . It's easy to control but super fun.

I also bought a Wii play, which come with additional controller. The game is fun. I love the shooting, fishing, cow riding and table tennis in the set of 9 small games. It reminds me of the old old time when I used to play Nintendo as a kid (don't even remember the model number).

Overall, it's a super fun game system. If you have not gotten one yet, get one and try it yourself. It'll be exceptional good family activity. "bring generations together" is its motto and the motto is really true.
...

maikhanh81 says "Affordable luxury compact car that worth every penny you spent" about Mercedes-Benz C-Class - 2006

That day I did not intend to buy the car yet, just want to shop around. I stoped at BMW before for the 3 series. I like its external design but the internal is to plain for me (all black). I did not test drive BMW yet. Then I came to Mercedes dealer (Fletcher Jones). I look at the C-230 more closely. I love the internal as well as the external designs. I love the color. I test drived it. I feel completely different from the current Corolla I was driving. It's totally different like "Earth and Heaven". Because I did not really want to buy, thus I got quite a good bargain (stay firm on your price).

The car fuel efficiency is not great great. It's ok. 21/30 is good enough for V6 2.5L engine. The gas pedal is bit heavy (not as light as Toyota) and the steering is quite heavy too. You can enjoy the steering the most in sharp turn.

Overall, I love the car. I drive it everyday and everywhere I go now.
...

maikhanh81 says "Expensive but worth it" about Vitamix Blender - 5000 Variable Speed

I first saw this machine at Costco where they did demonstration. I bought one home to try it out myself and I love it. I tried different fruit and vegetable combinations to make different smoothies. I came out very nice. Very smooth. However, the machine is quite expensive (before tax $400). Try it yourself and you'll love it. Imagine, you can create alot of healthy drinks for your kids at home without paying like $4-$5 for Jamba Juice or other places. You can make back the money for the machine after around 100-120 servings.

I don't eat fruits that frequently but when I blend everything up, it tastes wonderful and I ended up eating more than 5 servings of 5 different kinds of fruits and vegetable per day thanks to this machine.
...

maikhanh81 says "Affordable and above average quality bed" about Sealy Whitby Mattress

I bought the bed on Costco.com. It came 2-3 weeks after the order date. The quality is not as good as the one they have in store but it was ok. It's a bit firm. Not as soft as the one I saw on the store.

The price for the bed including delivery and tax is below $600. To me, it's a bargain. I don't know if I would buy it again in the future for my 2nd bed or for other family member. It did not completely impress me.
...
