I brought my LazyBoy "wraparound" Sofa over five years ago and the mico material is very durable. When I went to shop for the sofa I feared that I would not find anything to my liking. The sales person showed me several different sofas and my girlfriend saw this sofa and said she was going to purchase it. I liked it as well and decided to purchase the same sofa. I had a sleeper added to the sofa and everyone who has slept on the sleeper indicates that it is very comfortable. I have received many compliments on this piece of furniture. Since I had the sofa it was only cleaned once. The "wraparound" sofa includes a recliner and a chasis. Initially , I thought the sofa would be too large and take away from my family room but the sofa is a perfect fit. I am hoping to have this sofa for many years to come. I think I made a good investment and LazyBoy has the reputation to produce quality furniture.

I started watching the King of Queens when it came on syndication. Doug and Carrie are hiliarious. I like the fact that she stands up to him. There ar times on the show that I think that Doug is a big kid that will never grow up. Carrie holds the marriage together and makes Doug accountable when he does something foolish. His friends come around to "play" but when they go home, especially Deacon, he knows that he has to go home to a wife and children so he resumes the role as husband and father. Carrie's father, Arthur is very arrogant and is Doug' nemesis. I remember Jerry Spiller and his wife Anne Meara when they did stand up comedy on the Ed Sullivan show. He had the same dry sense of humor and is a comedy legend. Anne has played on the show and she has a liking for him but he is constantly putting her down. I am glad that King of Queens continue to come on because we all need a life during this unsettling time.

The Thane Flavorwave Oven is a product that gives excellent results to everyday food. Last Thanksgiving I watched the informerical with Mr. T and got caught up in ordering the product. I used it a couple times and to be honest I was not oerly impressed. Months later I decided to cut some chicken in the oven and it cooked in record time. The chicken was moist and delicious. I have also used the oven to cook vegetables and other meals and the food was done before I knew it. The Flavorwave oven has reduced my usage of using the traditional oven. I think in the long run, if I use the Flavorwave oven on a regular basis, it will reduce my cost on electricity. I agree with Mr. T and the host of the Flavorwave Oven, the food is more nutritious. I plan to experiment and use the Flavorwave oven with other foods. I am glad that watched the informerical and made the choice purchasing the product.

The Hefty One Zip Storage Bags are very cost effective products. Not only are the bags used to storage food,but it can also used to store other items in in the home. Some of the things have stored are writng instruments, tolietries, CDs. When I travel, I will bring the storage bags so I can store my dirty clothes. The bags are easy to pack in the suitcase. The storage bags are also useful in recycling the bags. There are times after I have used to the bags to store food, I will use the bags several more times as a means to save money and to be more conservative. The down side to the storage bags are that they are a little costly. I usually purchase the storage bags when they are sale and/or if I have coupons. I have used generic storage bags but they are not as effective or as strong as the Hefty One Zip. Some of the generic storage bags will leak or split after using them one time. The Hefty One Zip is more durable.

I purchased my Samsung about two years ago and did not realize the various features it has. There are some features on the phone I don't know how to operate (MP3 player); however, I am able to use most of the features. As I look at the iphone and the Storm2, I am thinking I need a more up to date phone, but I have grown accustomed to this phone. The Samsung has bluetooth capacity so when I am driving, the telephone conversations come through the car's speakers. That helps me focus on the road and I don't have to hold the phone in hand or have to worry about the bluetooth staying in my ear. I do have some problems with the phone. Because the screen is so small, I can't get effective pictures. I also wish that I had the QWERTY keyboard. When I text my family and friends it takes me awhile to type out my message. The keys are also small and close together I make frequent mstakes. Overall, I enjoy my phone and I don't plan toget a new one any time soon.

I started watchng Cold Case years ago and truly enjoy the show. It reminds me of a jigsaw puzzle and the detectives have to put the pieces together. When you think you have solved the crime or the murder another twist happens and you find out that it is not the person you suspected. The only problem that I have with the show is that it comes on at 10:00 on Sunday nights and when there is a football game, there may be a 15 to 20 minute delay. Last year the show came on at 9:00 which was a good time. I will probably miss some of the episodes until the football season is over.

I started watching Three Rivers in hopes that I would not like it. After the first episode I got hooked. The show reminds people the importance of organ donations. Many people are afraid to be an organ donor because they believe they need all of their organs when they die. This show lets people know that you don't need to die in order to an organ donor. I renewed my driver's license last week and I have been an organ donor for several years. I also convinced a young man who was renewing his license to become an organ donor. I hope more people will watch the show and know that when they transition, they can help their fellow man/woman.

I brought my George Foreman Grill several years ago and I don't use it as much as I should. I started to be more health conscious and started eating chicken breasts. I would cook the chicken breasts in the oven and the meal would come out dry. I started using the George Foreman Grill and the chicke breast came out moist. The George Foreman Grill is also easie to clean. and easy to store. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to eat healthier. I also cooked vegetables on this grlll and they are very nutrious. I will be using this grill for many years to come.

I am not a fan of chicken breast but I purchased Purdue chicken breast in an effort to lose weight. I hve grilled the chicken on the George Foreman Grill and the chicken has come out very moist. I have usd the chicken in salads and stir fry. Chicken is one of the food products that are low in fat. The cons is the price. Chicken breasts are expensive so I usually purchase them when they are on sale. Another con is that if the chicken is not prepared right the poultry can come out dry. There are several recipes that would make chicken breasts tasty.

I brought a pair of Nike Air Sneakers this summer for vacation. The sneakers are very comfortable and I continue to wear them on a daily basis when I go walking and exercise. I have had Nike sneakers in the past but by far, these sneakers have given me more energy. The cons are that I brought the sneakers in white and they get dirty faster.

The Miracle At St. Anna's depicts African Americans in World War II. Many people did not know African Americans fought in World War II. Even the story line was ficititous, but the movie gave honor to the men who foughtnd sacrifice their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today. There were a lot of critiques who gave the movie negative views, but the movie showed how a soldier saved a little boys life. Many of the men lost their lives, but the young boy did not forget who helped him. It is my hope that Hollywood would do more movies that depict African American in a positive life.

The Galaxy fan kept me very cool n the summer. I do not like running my air conditioner. The cost of cooling one's house can be very costly. Using ths fan has brought down my electricity bill tremendously. I have used my fan for several years and I have not had any problems with the fan. If and when this fan stops working, I will purchase another product. Using the fan will conitnue to be an alternaive in the spring and summer months. I will tell others on using the Galaxy fans in their households.

The Samsung DVD/VCR combo has been useful tool. I am a conscious spender and having this tool has saved me money in not having to add a DVR. I know VCR's are oudated, but as long as can purchase video tapes on sale, I can tape and keep important programs.

Brought lmover in 2007 The mover's- fully charged battery does not last to cut less than 1/4 acre. I had problems wtih mower a year late I took it to get fixed an it was cheaper to purchase a new mower. When I tried contact Black and Decker I was told that I it was not underwarrranty. I took it to a lmower business and was told it would cost125.00 to get fixed. I left the mower at that compant and decided to purchase a different brand.

I was very disappointed about the product.and will not purchase a Black and Decker mower.

India Airie is a singer that does not get the recognition she deserves. Ms. Airie is a singer who sings about today's issues. On her first CD, she sang about not being the girl on the average video. Ms. Airie is proud of who she is and she lets let girls know that you don't need to be identified by your hair, looks or body to boost your self esteem. Ms. Airie is true to who she is and I admire her for not following the norn. She came out with a CD two months ago, and she compares US cities to various countries. Ms. Airie also talks about love and relationships. I hope that she will continue to sing the truth.

Good times was aired in the 1970.s and the show dealt with an African American family, the Evans family who was trying to survive in the ghetto. Even though the show was a comedy, it dealt with real issues such as unemployment, poor quality education, substance abuse, violence, child abuse, teenage pregnancy and death. During their struggles, the Evans family had faith that they will survive and they will overcome. The show continues to come on cable and even though the show is over 30 years old, the topics are still relevant today.

I grew up on I Love Lucy sitcoms and continue to watch it on cable tv. Lucille Richardo is a housewife who is married to Ricky Richardo, a band leader. Their neighbors Fred and Ethel Mertz are their best friends. Lucy wants to go into the show business with her husband; however, she does not have any talent but will try various ways to prove she has talent. She will do studs to perform but it backfires. One of the best episodes is when she is in Europe and she is working in a winery a got into a fight. This is a excellent show with outstanding acting and I plan to continue to watch the show for years to come.

I am a consumer that pays off my credit card every month. In December I was out of town for a couple weeks and when I returned, my credit card was past due. I was charged 39.00 late fee and called customer service for assistance and asked to have the late fee taken off. I was told it could not be taken off. I paid the late fee and asked to have my credit card account to be closed. I e-mailed Citi to see if they would assist and was told the same answer. I paid off the card and the next month I was charged $1.00 for late fees. I called and that was taken off of the account. I feel that Citi should have worked with me after years of being a consumer.

I received an HP laptop for a Christmas gift and had it for four years. I had to send it to the company at least two times due to hard drive corruption. In April 2008, there was a class action suit in which there was a recall to replace the mother board. I sent it to the company and was told that I needed to replace other items that would cost over $600.00. I did not want the laptop fixed; however, I wanted the mother board replaced. The laptop was returned and I took it to a computer expert to have it fixed and was told that the mother board was not replaced. I also took it to another computer technician and was given the same information. I attempted to contact HP, they answered but they did not resolve the problem. I brought a new laptop from another company and is very pleased with the product. The laptop cost a little over $600- about the same price I would have paid if I had the computer repaired.
