magenta687 says "Best picture for the money" about RCA - 50" diagonal RCA Scenium DLP HD Television

We purchased this TV almost two years ago, and it has been awesome.

We compared the picture to the other TVs in the store, many of which were in the $3-4k range. This TV was easily the best of the bunch and surprisingly the price was under $2k.

This TV is also HDMI capable, so you can play videos on your computer and view them on the TV screen.

The user interface is very easy to understand and the manual is very thorough.
...

magenta687 says "Caring, compassionate professionals" about Chester Animal Clinic - - Chester, VA

The doctors and staff of Chester Animal Clinic are wonderful!

After moving to Virginia from out of state, I picked this vet practice randomly. I was immediately impressed by the vet's concern for my animals, and their gentle manner with them. I always feel that they care about me and my pets and we are not simply a chart or a check.

When having one of my cats in for a checkup for the first time there, one of the doctors diagnosed and treated a long-standing problem that my old vet had never been able to resolve.

They have some of the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art equipment and treatment techniques.

In Spring 2008 they will be opening West Chester Pet Resort, a 5-acre, luxury pet resort and off-leash park on the site of the animal clinic itself.
...

magenta687 says "Wonderful for outdoor pets!" about K and H Manufacturing, Lectro Kennel Pad Small

I care for about 16 cats, and consider 7-8 of them "mine" as they sleep on my covered deck.

Last year I started looking for options to keep the cats warm during the cold winter months and saw these in Petsmart. I looked around online and found the cheapest place I could and got 2 of them.

The units do not radiate heat, they react to weight on the pad. Although I have them plugged in 24/7 they do not make a significant difference in my electricity bill. They have been very dependable.

I like them so much I decided to purchase a few more. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
...

magenta687 says "Great on leaks, bad experiences with the absorbent gel" about Pampers Cruisers Diapers

After a similar, frustrating experience using Huggies, I switched to Pampers.

I have purchased package after package of diapers where the gel in the diaper has hardened and gathered at the top in the back and front. It feels prickly and has irritated my daughter's skin on more than one occasion. I have also found the gel granules leaking out of the diapers.

While I did contact Pampers and Huggies about the issue, it persists. I have purchased from different stores, different size packs, all with the same results. I have resigned myself to this just being one of the unavoidable problems with disposables.

On the bright side, I've never had a leak.
...

magenta687 says "Very convenient and affordable" about Graco Pack 'N Play Portable Playard

As a first time mother, I was happy to learn that this bassinett was very easy to set up and take down, and met my needs for my baby.

On one side of the unit there is a diaper station for changing. This was very convenient during the night for me, as we had the baby in the bassinett next to our bed. Some models have a tray attachment at the end with mesh "cup holder" type areas for holding diapers, ointment, wipes, etc. Other models have a snap on diaper caddy that hung on the end.

The unit was wide enough that I could easily lay the baby "width-wise" instead of lenghtwise on the bed when we first brought her home.

One end has wheels and it is lightweight and easy to move around.

There is a mobile included, but it is not motorized. One of our units also included a music module, but we never used it.

We had put the bassinett away for a few months when she moved into her crib, but now that she is sitting up and playing, I set the unit up again, this time without the bed portion, and she is using...
...
