There is no other bike that compares. I get asked everyday why I don't own a Harley? All I have to say is if you've ever get a chance to ride a VTX 1800 take it. The VTX is the most customizible bike around. I have easily added ape hanger handlebars, screamin eagle pipes, and numerous other things and I still haven't come close to what I would have to pay for a Harley. Also, Harley doesn't have an 1800cc engine either. This bike isn't made for smaller people though. It is a huge bike with a very stable ride. If your over 6 foot tall try it you'll like it!... I received it for a high school graduation gift and had never heard of this brand. I didn't think it would take me through my college years but it has. It has never needed service and it is used daily. I am now starting grad school and my trusty averatec is still running. I have watched my college buddies go through multiple computers and am so thankful I have an averatec. I would highly recommend this brand!...
