lyfsabeach says "I really like this mop" about As Seen On TV H20 Mop

Ok - we've all seen the infomercial. And I'm sure we were all wondering "does it really work?"

Well, I'm here to tell you it does! I am sick and tired of using mops on my floor - I've tried them all - Swiffer Wet Jet, Clorox Ready Mop, etc. And the cleaner smells way too strong, leaves wet spots all over my floor, and the cleaning pads you have to buy are just too expensive (and messy).

So, I decided to give in and buy the H2O Mop. I figured I could always send it back. However, I did not order it from the infomercial. NEVER order from the infomercial. I've heard way too many horror stories about being charged wrong, delivery taking forever, you get the picture. I found it at a store online that I've bought before and ordered there. I even had a free shipping coupon, so how could I go wrong.

Three days later, UPS delivers the mop. Even my kids were excited to see it in action, because they know how awful our kitchen floor is. (It's not that bad, but two...
...

lyfsabeach says "You will NEVER go back to a regular coffeepot" about Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filters

My hairdresser had one of these in her Salon and I was desperate for a cup of coffee and didn't know how to use it (and was afraid to ask for fear of looking like an idiot!). Luckily, she offered to make me a cup so I took the opportunity for a quick lesson. That did it! I knew I had to have one. I asked her how much and she told me the price, $149.99, but that if I get it at Bed, Bath and Beyond and use the 20% coupon, I would get quite a savings. Since I work from home and have to have my coffee in order to work, it qualifies as a business expense - Yipee! So off I go to pick mine up.

Much to my delight, the package also included an 18-pack sampler of assorted coffees, teas and even a package of cocoa. What fun!

Ok - this machine uses K-Cups. You can get them at Bed, Bath and Beyond, but even with the coupon, they can be found cheaper online. Just look around. Amazon.com is a good one to try. There are many, many flavors available and if you are like me, you'll...
...

lyfsabeach says "Best purchase I ever made for the kitchen" about Foodsaver

I finally purchase a Foodsaver about three years ago after hearing how wonderful they were. I'm one of those people that will buy pretty much any "gadget" out there, so I definitely had my doubts. But I also had my receipt, so I could return it.

Well, three years later and I'm on my second Foodsaver. Pretty much wore the first one out. I literally can't image being without it for more than a week - I use it that often. Not just for freezing meats, either. They sell canisters for cookies, crackers, etc. and I have a large collection of those and boy are they wonderful. And my kids are now "trained" to seal the canisters closed when they open them - ahhh - such good boys! Actually, they like doing it, so any chore I can get them to do without being told is a step up for me!!
...
