luvinga4 says "A nice change for a spread" about Kraft - Philadelphia Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream Cheese Spread

I picked up my Philly Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream Cheese today and I was sceptical that it would taste as good as it sounded. But I must say I am very pleasantly surprised as is my husband!

I made homemade sourdough bread this morning and figured that it would be great to try with the new spread. The cream cheese was super creamy and had a nice hint of herbs with a tomato flavor that was very natural. I served it with my dinner tonight along with my bread and my husband went in for seconds...and thirds! It's a hit!

The only thing that I would love is if there was a light version of this so that I could eat more of it ;o)

luvinga4 says "Super set of knives that stay sharp!" about Farberware Cutlery Set

We purchased the Farberware 14 piece classic forged cutlery set because I needed a better set of knives without the cost of professional knives. We got model FCN14N. Description is:

"Heat tempered to produce superior high carbon stainless steel blades, these knives also feature oversized stainless steel rivets that secure the full tang blade. Ergonomically designed handles make them a comfort in your hands.

Comes with: 8' Chef; 7' Slicer; 7' Bread; 4.5' Serrated Utility; 3' Parer, 6- Stamped Steak Knives; Shears; Sharpener; Natural Block"

I am really pleased with these knives! I've had them for a couple of years now and they have stayed sharp through the dishwasher and moderate use. When the blade gets dull, I just run it over the sharpener a few times and the blades are sharp enough to slice easily through a tomato. I'd say these are good knives for those of us that cannot afford to buy hundreds of dollars in cutlery but want the quality!

luvinga4 says "Don't waste your money on this one!!" about Health O Meter HDM776DQ-95 Bathroom Scale

We purchased the Health o meter model HDM776DQ-95 scale last month from Walmart because it was on "rollback" and under $25. The description on this scale says:

"Tracks your weight, weight change and compares to your goal for 4 users with 12 memories per user. Accurately measures weight up to 380 lbs. in 0.2 lb increments. Extra large 1.5" display. 4 load cell technology ensures accuracy and repeatability."

This scale is inaccurate beyond anything I've ever seen! If you stand on this scale with your left foot first, the weight is completely different than if you use your right foot first. Heck, if you breathe deeply before standing on this scale, apparently you can gain 5 lbs in just a matter of seconds. If you get on and off this thing 5 times in 5 minutes you'll get 5 completely different weights.

Wow, what a scale huh?! We used it for a couple of weeks before realizing that we would get a more accurate weight throwing darts at random numbers. Don't waste your money. ...

...

luvinga4 says "Great little digital camera" about Kodak EasyShare C613 Digital Camera

I purchased my Kodak EasyShare C613 because I wanted a smaller more compact digital camera than the big chunky Kodak EasyShare P850. I find myself using my C613 all the time now! I had originally purchased it for ease of sticking in my purse and being able to have a camera handy at all times.

I use this camera everyday. I use the camera to take my pictures when I list items online auction sites. It also takes video that is of comperable digital camcorder quality. There are quite a few options for picture taking on the easy to use knob on the top of the camera. Many different lighting and action settings with a good 6.2 megapixel quality.

I only have two gripes with this camera. The first has been the fact that the focus sometimes doesn't focus...even though the camera is green and tells me that it is. Alot of pictures turn out blurry when the camera has indicated that it is in focus and ready to take the picture.

The other issue that can be a pain is where the memory...
...

luvinga4 says "You get what you pay for with this elliptical" about Proform 465S Elliptical Trainer

We bought this elliptical last year after I found out that my lower back was broken and the doctor cleared me for using an elliptical machine to exercise. We went with this Proform 465S because of it's small size and that it was cost effective. Lots of things have gone wrong with this elliptical. The tension knob no longer works correctly, which means that we now have to take this thing apart to repair it. The pedals are narrow and I feel like my feet are slipping off the sides alot (I'm a size 10 womens shoe).

The bolts have had to be tightened a few times because of how creaky it is. It makes quite a bit of noise during use which is not what I expected. It does have wheels on the front legs to move it easier, which is a nice feature. I do also like that it works your arms as well as your legs, but that the arms of the machine are difficult to grasp and reach. I am short and my husband is tall, and we both equally have problems with the reach of the arms on this thing....
...

luvinga4 says "Good investment for those who aren't "gym" people" about NordicTrack A2105

We purchased our NordicTrack A2105 a few months ago. We are so pleased with the quality and durability of this machine! My husband and I use this treadmill daily for both walking and running. We were frustrated at how flimsy other treadmills were that we looked at. To us, $400 is a lot of money to invest into a machine that isn't going to last or is made cheaply enough to break.

So we purchased this treadmill used for the price of a new cheap one at the big "mart" near us. This thing is very heavy...which was a pain to move, but personally I'd rather have a heavy treadmill than a light one!

It does fold manually, has multiple fitness program settings built into the electronic iFit panel on the front. It has a two speed fan in the front that I love!

This treadmill goes up to 10mph and has an electronic incline of up to 10%. I love that I can be mid-walk and not only change my speed with the touch of a button, but that I can raise or lower the incline without ever getting...
...

luvinga4 says "Never use a mop again!" about Hoover FloorMate - Hard Floor Cleaner Vacuum - H3032

I found my Hoover Floormate Plus at a thrift store, of all places! I had seen them in the stores and really wanted one but couldn't justify the price tag over my apparent hate for the mop. So, for $5 we brought it home, took it apart and cleaned it, and then I ventured onto the linoleum to test this thing out. Holy cow! It was awesome!!

I have linoleum and two kinds of ceramic tile flooring in my house. It cleans both great. Linoleum more so than the tile, but the people who grouted our tile did it too shallow so I don't really think it is the machines fault for not reaching the grout in all areas! I have used many different concentrated cleaners in the solution and all clean great. Even plain vinegar works just fine.

I have had the Floormate for over a year now and I cannot imagine life before this machine! I have 2 bones that are broken in my lower back and this makes it so easy to clean my floors. The most lifting you have to do is picking up the small receptacle...
...

luvinga4 says "Love the quality!" about Panasonic KX-TGA600B 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Expansion Handset

We purchased the Panasonic TGA600B 5.8ghz phones a few months ago. There are 4 handsets and one main unit. So far, we are very pleased with these phones. The quality is great...there is no "tinny" sound or static. Some cordless phones can give you the feeling that you are speaking to yourself or have a horrible echo...but not these.

We have VoIP and were surprised at just how clear the sound is on these. I enjoy having 4 of the same handsets and that I'm not having to match up different ones to different charging units. I can pick up whichever phone is lying there and stick it on any of the chargers.

The only "con" to these is that fact that all the phones are connected to one line in the house. So if the power goes out, and you don't have a wired landline phone...you will not get connection. Also, if the main unit goes out (for instance, ours is connected to the cable modem), all phones stop working. I would definitely say to have at least one wired phone plugged in...
...

luvinga4 says "Bedinabox.com is awesome!!" about Bedinabox.com Memory Foam Mattress

I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids, a big 6'4" husband and 7 cats. I was in a bad car accident last year and now have back problems including two fractured vertebrae. I needed to get rid of my innerspring mattress after almost a year of sleeping on that thing and waking up with horrible pain. My husband started to have issues as well with his knees and was sleeping on the couch almost every night because of the springs.

So, we knew we needed a memory foam mattress after talking to my chiropractor...but I couldn't afford the $1700 price tag for a queen Tempurpedic and needed to find a comparable bed.

I ordered our new mattress from bedinabox.com after reading good reviews and seeing that I could upgrade to a KING size bed with the memory foam my back needs for less than what I would spend on a queen size innerspring!! I went with the PacBed Original because it is is what I can afford right now and it seems to meet my needs just fine.

The bed was shipped THE SAME DAY as I ordered it!!......
