luveduve says "The median of all diapers." about Huggies Diapers (All Sizes)

Huggies is the median of all diapers..it's not on the cheap side like Luvs and not on the expensive side like Pampers. You get more for the wear with the diapers. The diapers do sag but that's only b/c the diaper is way too full beyond the allowed capacity. Also sometimes I buy the diapers too big and that causes the sag too. The issues I have with this diaper brand are:

1- Even tho the diapers are for a certain pound range baby, I find that when my baby is closer to the high end, the diapers tend to leak. It doesn't seem to work as well.

2- I don't like the gel residue left on the baby's skin. Huggies claim that it shows that the diaper's wet or something along that line. I don't need to see the gel to know that the diapers wet and needs to be changed. Those gel beads make me waste more wipes to try to wipe them off my baby's skin.

3-I don't like the band by the back. It doesn't breathe at all so when it's hot out, my baby sweats there and often getting diaper rashes....
...

luveduve says "Cheap is not always best." about Luvs Diapers

I bought Luvs diapers b/c it is pretty inexpensive, but I think in the long run it probably comes out to be the same as the other pricey diapers. The diapers are very thin and not good for over night wear. The diapers need to be changed very often, one pee seems like it is about to leak. I know diapers should be changed often, but for baby liquid dieters, they pee often, I change after every 2 or 3 pees. Cheap is not always a bargain....

luveduve says "A little more pricey, but beats other brands ." about Pampers Swaddlers Diapers

I actually haven't purchased the product myself but the newborn swaddlers were used in the hospital. They were used for both of my kids. The diapers are very soft which I really love and they were the right thickness. They also absorbed very nicely and did not have any problems with leakages. When I had to buy some on my own, I opted for the Especially for Babies brand. They changed the way they make the diapers, it was too stiff and didn't seem to absorb the messes too well and leaked alot. Felt much regret for opting for a cheaper brand since I knew Pampers swaddlers worked so well....

luveduve says "Good price for a very valuable product." about Avent Isis Manual Breast Pump

I bought the breast pump after I gave birth to my first child. I looked at the other systems available but they were way out of budget for me. The most reasonable and cost efficient thing I found was the Avent handheld pump. Although it may be tedious to do the pumping on your own, but at least you can take it with you and it's a small package. It comes with a nice, discreet carrying case that helps keep the milk cold and bottles that you can store your milk. It also has some spare parts. The only thing that I didn't like about the pump is that after a while after using it, you can't press the handle all the way anymore. There is a small, white, round plastic piece that is smooth on one side and star like on the other. If you press the handle all the way, that piece sometimes come through the hole and you would have to stop and fix that piece by taking apart the pump. So to stop that, I'd press the handle half way to 3/4 of the way, meaning that I am taking a little longer......

luveduve says "A mother can't live without one." about Graco Travel System Car Seat

The Graco stroller was given to me as a gift from my registry. The price was great, I didn't want to pick anything that was too expensive otherwise I probably won't receive it as a present. The carseat was given to me used. Which was fine, the less I spend the better and there's nothing wrong with used items. The stroller was very easy to put together. It is very sturdy, handled cracks and bumps well. My son looked very comfortable in it. I love the big basket underneath the seat, so did my mom when we went grocery shopping. It definitely is very convenient. It closes easy and fits nicely in the trunk. I also love the fact that any of the other Graco carseat would fit into the stroller I have.

Now I am a mother of two, so I had to opt to get the double stroller. I wanted the side by side one, which Graco did offer but they did not make it where the carseat would fit into one so I had to get a whole new carseat to go with another brand stroller. It is a shame...
...
